Paul - these tutorials just get better and better - and are helping my painting a LOT! I can't thank you enough. Just a quick request - what about a still life? Something with wine bottles - help us with reflections in glass? I know this is hard, but i bet you'll have some great tips that will help us all. Practice, practice, practice!!! Again, many thanks.
Great to hear from you as always Robin - yes, still life is on the list!!
Thanks Paul. The highlighting forward branches was brilliant. Can't believe how simple and effective it is. I think it will change how I look at paintings as well as painting trees. Loved the final tree since I am surrounded by that type. Must have a practice! Cheers.

Tutor said we are to be kind to others, and if you have an artist you admire, tell them what an inspiration they are.

Hi Paul! I loved the snow effects with the masking fluid, I want to give that a go. I have masking but haven’t used it much. I found this helpful for ways to test it out. Also the abstract trees were brilliant. Loved that technique and can’t wait to give it a go! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you vazhga valamudan 🙏🙏🙏
You’ve become my favorite artist! Thank you
Thank you so much 😀
Praise worthy touch. Incredible experience.
Thanks Sir.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I live in South Florida so I’ve painted my share of palms. I use a couple sizes of filbert brushes for the fronds. I hold the brush perpendicular to the paper. They hold a lot of paint so you don’t run out halfway through the frond. By rotating the brush as you go you can get some nice variation of the leaves.
Painting well is one thing but teaching well, you rule 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻☺️☺️☺️
Thank you so much 😀

I certainly enjoy every video and this was so helpful. The winter trunk in Alaska is brilliant. I never thought about masking fluid to get that snow appearance. Thank you for your inspiring presentation.
Glad it was helpful!
Much obliged, Mr. Clark! One of the joys of many of your presentations is they're not overwhelming or tend to scare me away (although you have projects I'm not ready for yet!). Watching you, like here, I think, "I can do this!", and so far, they've worked beautifully for me. I've only been using colour a year now, but have sketched constantly since my teens. You are a blessing!
Great to hear Michael - thanks for sharing your comment!
So good Paul, I don't think I have been happy with any of my trees & will certainly try your way, thanks heaps from Australia

Glad it was helpful!
Thank you Paul. Great tutorial.
Glad it was helpful!
Very nice presentation. I am a retired graphic artist, watercolor wannabe. My profession required ridged precise edges and had little room for visual spontaneity. I am trying to become respectable with watercolor and I greatly respect and appreciate when an accomplished professional shares some of the practices learned from a lifetime career. Thank you for sharing.
Glad it was helpful Kit!
