The Cogger History Part IV- Carl Cogger

The life of Carl Cogger who was born in Kyneton, Victoria and grew up on a farm at nearby Greenhill where his father ran an agistment property for his grandfather's taxi business at Mount Macedon. Carl went onto serve in the 4th Light Horse in WWI in the Middle East and Gallipoli. This included partaking in the famous cavalry charge at Beersheba at Gaza. After the war he joined the permanent army as an instructor in the 8th Light Horse, where he moved to Benalla where he lived out his life.
