Praise God, Sweetie. I was in the homosexual lifestyle for 45 years. THE POWER OF CHRIST delivered me from that, but now having to deal with the sane sex attraction is very very Hard!@ But I vowed to Christ after my baptism that part of me was left in the baptism water. So, glad to hear your testimony. Praise God for he is our ONLY LORD AND SAVIOR.

I fight with this my whole life.. never crossed the line by the grace of God not by my effort but i keep being tempted to the point i have developed chronic pelvic pain because of struggle with my sexuality.. im in heterosexual marriage and im trying hard for it to work..i just sometimes think i cant live like this anymore.. i want to be set free from this desire its a tough life having to struggle with this and being constantly tempted..and living with this pain cause of it too..

It hurts so much, I cry every night praying for the lord to heal me from my sin, or at least to make me asexual or something, it hurts, so bad, I don't even have lustful urges, it's just stuff like cuddling or holding hands, my heart aches, why am I this way

I know this might sound silly but coming from the lifestyle where I'd been openly identified as gay, I then found Jesus, and realise I had to rebuke it. do I now identify as heterosexual even though I struggle with ssa and lived that life?
Great question. Your identity is in Christ Jesus, not your attractions. You identify as a child of God :) 2 Corinthians 5:17

Jumping in....yes to fantasize is a sin because by definition it’s to “indulge in daydreaming about something desired.”Psalms 37:4 says to “delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart”. When we dedicate our thoughts on the things of God then he corrects any desires that may be out of balance, or that go against His will. If we give into focusing our thoughts on “our desires and fantasize”, we open the door to Satan rushing those desires before God has developed the character in us to manage it, or it could flat out be something The Most High didn’t want us to have. Marriage is for the purpose of furthering the kingdom and not to fulfill the lust of the flesh and to stroke our feelings. Intimate relationships are one of the biggest areas we can become side tracked and distracted spiritually.
Our purpose is to glorify the Lord and set our thoughts on pleasing Him. Hope that helps...
