I absolutely love walking. I will park further away in a parking lot, take the stairs instead of the escalator or elevator, refuse a ride and politely say, “No thanks, I enjoy walking.” Enjoying your focus on health.
Just realized we never finished this one! Miss you guys. Prioritizing health is so hard on the road especially when traveling big distances so kudos to Paige!!!!
@@colinandpaigeif you measure the average stride from the heel to heal distance. Something definitely does not add up with your 10,000 steps equals roughly 5 mi. There is 5,280 ft in a mile times. 5. Mi equals 26,400 ft. Divide that by 10,000 steps and you get 2 ft 7 and 1/2 in per step. That is not a normal stride. That is a extremely wide stride.

Great video guys. Love walking daily with my pack of 4. We do a min of 2 miles a day. And I even walk a neighbors dog a couple miles also on occasion. Also, every day is earth day to me so i have gloves and a garbage bag to collect trash as we go. It’s my nature,😉😅.
Great topic!! I’ve been walking 90k-100k steps per week for 8 weeks now. I’m definitely feeling better & love that you did the research!! My dog gets me out too, no excuses!!
Thank you for the encouragement! I did 10,000 steps every day sometimes 15,000. Then I became a nomad. Showing the research and making it a priority - IT CAN BE DONE11

I have now completed my 2 (or 3?) day watch of all your beautiful videos. Thank you for making all this wonderful content. I loved every minute, you two are a huge inspiration, and are such naturals in front of the camera. Even your Better Help segment was 100% natural and genuine feeling. I'm super excited to see every upload from this point forth! I really struggle with 10k steps (usually no where near), but I used to go to a yoga studio a lot until a minor medical thing got in the way 5 months ago, but after watching this, I felt motivated, and said screw it, I'm going tonight, and it was great! - nothing bad happened! 🤣 By the way, you mentioned Adriene - I used to do her videos before going to the studio - did you name your Benji after her Benji? He so cute 😀 I also love that I am entirely on the same page as you both with these two health videos! Great job making them science based. Much love to you both! It's so uplifting to find other good humans on this planet - we need a lot more of them! 😍
We really needed to hear this today, as we have been a bit down.. Thank-you for sharing this and supporting us, it means the world. I read this out-loud to Paige and she teared up.. We both immediately thought of Adrianne when we heard it 😆
@@colinandpaige Aw, that warms my heart. Hope everything is good with you two and being a bit down is a tiny blip in the radar. I'm sure you'll be on many paths in life, some a challenge, some wonderfully healing for your soul; the one you're showing in your videos seems like a wonderful place to be. Keep doing what you're doing and I'm sure the subscriptions, views, and likes will come, because you have a talent for this! Keep it fun and don't turn it into a grind! 😀
I much prefer walking outside but I have a walking pad that I use when the weather is not cooperating. I am also lucky enough to live in the country so my walks are in nature.
If you fail to commit to things it may be because you're just not passionate about it, or you get bored easily and you just enjoy new experiences. You're both still young often people don't find themselves until they are older. Don't forget you could jog, skip or do jumping jacks to bust those steps or walk to your next destination with Colin driving at your side. Only joking. Dogs are a great way to get fresh air and exercise, which is all the more imperative if you're on the road for lengthy periods. Stay safe guys, happy travels. Woof and waggy tail to Benji
Walking, is a self inflicted agony, give me a bike and some Trash Metal and the world becomes a marble. Keep on keeping yourself healthy, even when your body denies to. ¡¡Pura Vida!!
@@gblakev there are quite a few options out there these days! We use the Oura ring (definitely a more premium or expensive option, but we keep these on fulltime), things like Fitbit are a good option. But honestly, I've heard people have found success with off-brands from Amazon - the technology has been around long enough. Your smartphone has a tracker too, so you could also just use that!!
