Spent the first few weeks of this trip traumatised 😂. Im jesting - we loved it ! Although I have to say that I was genuinely frightened in this particular episode as I have never heard wind like it or the van shake so much in my life - ever. It was sinister ! 😱 jane ☺️
We like our static caravan but it's nice to have the flexibility with the van too. The caravan is a quick 60 minute away last minute escape on a Friday. We do like us a cheese and pickle butty. Wow that storm was brilliant.
I've never experienced a storm like it. The sound was like nothing I've ever heard before and was genuinely concerned Harry would be rolling down the hill 😱 Jane ☺️
Crikey the storm was very scary. Jane, a tip from Early Retirement Wanderlust ( I think) travel with a pot of fresh growing mint to keep your campervan smelling fresh 😊 ❤ xx
That looks really frightening !!! And you HAD to leave us with a "cliffhanger" didn't you😂 At least we know you and Harry survived as you've posted this - phew. It's scary being at the mercy of the elements - which storm was this ? Seems powerful enough to have a name 💙🦋
Well I go t know if the storm had a name as hence it caught us out I just think we’re in a wind tunnel up the valley Scary but also weirdly memorable Thanks for watching
Port Stewart looked a bit posh! Nice spot for a pitstop for your dinner. I love a bit of cheese and pickle but not a fan of cottage cheese. I love choppy, winter seas, they're mesmerising. I think my eye is constantly on the weather app, it's the joys of being in the UK! I hate being in the wind in Raymond, it's horrible, you feel like the van could literally get ripped off the chassis. I changed my skylights that popped up like that, they do seem like they could pull off.
Secretly think I enjoy a good storm after surviving it - maybe not so in the middle of it The beach walk was brilliant in face to say - blew the cobwebs away Thanks for watching - hope your all well
Blimmin' windy innit! That castle looked nice. Apparently Gary Moore did an instrumental of it called Dunluce part 1 and 2! So I'm told!!!! 😉 And is also in the video OUT IN THE FIELDS by Gary Moore and Phil Lynott! So I'm told as well! 😂 Take care! Ju 😁
What a beautiful beach. That was a lot more pickle than I would have. Poor Harry was rocking about in the wind.mi hope that you survived the night with no damage. Take care Gill
Glad to hear we aren't the only ones that wipes clean cutlery and reuses... 😅 a windy one for sure, north/north west coast always gets the worst of the storms
That’s Castlerock for you. We have a caravan in Castlerock - and it’s very windy. But Gortmore viewpoint!!! Very exposed. I wouldnt like to camp up there. Sometimes you can’t see your finger before you. 😱
I suspect it won’t it’s more the fear of it coming off - I have seen stories of them blowing off and I think driving forwards at 70mph with a cowling on the front pushes it down like a racing car wing - side gusts feels more unstable But like I say it’s more your own fear
To think when that beautiful castle was built must of been a good few minutes walk to the cliff edge to what it is now, such a shame when the walls finally erode, love the vlogs 👍

We needed your advice beforehand 😂 😂😂 there is a bit of me where I actually enjoy it ..such a beautiful view
Now you know why us Irish people are always talking about the weather 😂😂. Great video again 👍
Yes cos it’s always changing and can bite you but it’s do dramatic to - love it
Thanks for watching
Love your videos keep up the good work
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching
Now that looked hairy. 😁👍
It was! To be honest caught us out as we were in a wind tunnel I think - sort of memorable and feel like you achieved something
That’s what she said .
Well done, you two, we always move inland to avoid using the strapon 😂😂
lol - yea we we off guard on this one as it was a bit of a wind tunnel
Thanks for watching
I don't understand how the skylight doesn't fly off as you drive down the motorway at 120 klm if it's that flimsy!!
I suspect it won’t it’s more the fear of it coming off - I have seen stories of them blowing off and I think driving forwards at 70mph with a cowling on the front pushes it down like a racing car wing - side gusts feels more unstable

Glad you enjoyed it - hopefully they can secure the erosion as it was such a dramatic location
