Thanks both, I love the mix of travel, history and van life in your videos. I reckon you’ve got the mix spot on. I hope you keep enjoying it and sharing.
I'm enjoying your videos very much. In 2022 my husband and I visited Ireland and explored Dunlewy and that took that ferry to Arranmore and back. Its bringing back memories of a wonderful trip. Looking forward to seeing more.
I’m from Ballina Co Mayo but I have been leaving in Sweden since 1979. I am so enjoying you being back in Ireland and hopefully you will be taking the cost road to my neck of the woods ❤
The laundrette is a brilliant idea, must be so useful. Jane you have such beautiful eyes, your fringe rather covers them up, so enjoyed the windswept look, then we could see your eyes, even through the glasses 😂
That's our local fuel station in Crolly, we will be back in Donegal on Sunday, now that's pronounced "Dunygal" and not "Dony" "Gal". " Bád Eddie", "Bád" pronounced "Bwed" in Irish Gaelic for boat. The hotel is a bloddy eye sore, can't wait until it is demolished. Everyone parks up at Boat bay, it's rammed in summer. You drove right passed another free park up when you were watching the plane land just beside the runway with views of Errigal on a sunny day. The airport also has a flight from Glasgow airport in the summer months. Voted most scenic airport to land at in the world twice. I have flown from it on many occassions and can vouch for that. The church in Dunlewey was constructed for the protestant sheep workers from Scotland, but when they left it was abandonded. One of the reasons why it has no roof was to save paying taxes. If you were at Burtonport you should have take the ferry to Arranmore island, but it looks better on a sunny day. Slán. ☘
I bloody hate doing washing on the road. It feels like a waste of valuable travel time lol. But yep, needs must unfortunately. I do love a good shipwreck or a boat graveyard. We're in Glencoe and we've had 85mph winds. We were meant to move on but we've stayed put as it's safer. Never a good idea to have your Sunday dinner and then have to do chores 😂
Ahh laundry on the road, can be a faff 😊 I’m kinda going off the revolution laundry and opt now for a campsite with laundry facilities 😊 One too many times, my stuff has come out full of dog hairs 🙃 Another lovely & realistic insight into travelling 😎 Em 💜
Thank you and let me try to explain our circumstances It takes two solid days to produce so unless we simply shoot and upload with little production then it’s not possible and people wouldn’t watch Each episode is probably two days of travelling so a 9 week series is a good amount of episodes On top of that we have other things in life so I try to create two videos a week but it’s not always possible Also if I produce in the road I am not enjoying the journey and missing stuff It’s tough being a YT creator
@@getawaygeese It's tough being a YT creator if you are not getting paid, but many are making a living from it promoting all sorts of junk or trying to make you feel like life is all sunshine and roses. Lol. I'm glad you didn't say YT Influencer, hate that word.
@irishrover63 have only promoted one thing at that was the Bluetti although I get two a week requests - good luck to those that need to make a living but you have to give a lot ……. We are monetised but it’s peanuts per hour of effort
@@getawaygeese Don't be a slave to the Tube. I refused to go the monetised route years ago, but now you have to have at least 1000 subs and so many views per day, takes all the fun away from the original concept.

Wow. Drive up, outdoor laundry! New to me.
It’s a whole new world - all very van life friendly but amazing how many locals use them to

Thanks for taking time to comment - we always try to get it right but invariably there is more to places we go to
It isn't just for internal flights. You can fly from Donegal Airport to Glasgow
Ah ok we couldn’t see other flights - thanks for correcting and above all watching

Thanks for watching
Great Vlog and nice to see reality. Thank you. Take care Gill
Yes it’s not all instagram photo’s but we kind of enjoy it
Thanks for watching
Yes, we often leave the laundry for three weeks - and then regret it. The downside for van life! 😒
Aye we’re pushing it if more but maybe your right little and often maybe the way
Thanks for washing or that watching 😂
Love seeing behind the scenes. That’s the reality of travelling in a campervan 👍 Where would we be without Revolution Launderettes 😅❤
Certainly is in Harry - not all instagram pics in our world
Thanks for watching
Bad with a fada pronounce baud
Thank you - we have decided we will never get Irish right lol but we really try
Thanks for watching
It's b a fadea d it's an irish word for boat .the fadea is the dot over the a
Thanks we really had no idea on this other than it didn’t mean ‘bad’
