@@rme1383 I don't think there was anything wrong because huevos rancheros are really just eggs over a tortilla accompanied by a sauce. On the other hand, as a Mexican myself, I also felt this cringe feeling over me throughout the entire video. We Mexicans have a sense of pride over what we let others call "authentic Mexican" and if it doesn't suit what we were raised with growing up, then we bash on it. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not.
@RobotStuff We mexicans rarely use canned food to make a meal. We live very close to different farms and take our time to prepare things, even a simple tomato sauce that can be shop, we just do it with fresh ingredients. I love how this chefs cooks, and he can reinvent food whatever he wants, but this is not accurate 💁
Right? Yo soy blanca, but I've spent most of my life in New Mexico, and I was like "ooh, Gordon, no! That's not how you pronounce that, or how you make huevos rancheros."

@@pupstermobster8567 I mean, you even said it applies to pretty much any cuisine, so he was still technically right. but even then garlic is basically like salt and pepper in Mexican food with all the soup and rice we make
Chili Poppa it's about presentation, which Gordon accomplishes by not splashing sauce all over the plate and adding all those white boy garnishes. Makes something that looks like vomit when *I* serve it into somethig more Michelin-starred.
What does it need to be authentic? To be cooked by a Mexican? To be cooked in Mexico using ingredients grown in mexico? A certificate of authentication? It's an authentic Mexican dish cooked by a guy who knows food.
Here's the actual title of the video is, "Gordon cooks literally anything regional and literally thousands upon thousands of natives claim they could've cooked it better"
It's like this in every ethnic food video. People have different recpies, just because you guys make it different doesn't mean Gordon's is any worse or better.

Can't believe a Scottish guy who spends his whole life in Europe and America doesn't cook 100% authentic Mexican food
“ If is not done by a Mexican is not authentic.” Don’t you know how tiresome you sound?
@Julian Ruvalcaba & usually every family has their own take on their mexican homestyle dishes. So therefore your opinion is invalid dumbass.
Looks good for you; dry hard black beans, pureed sauce that looks like vomit, really
This goes to show that even if you’re the best chef in the world, you can be wrong.
I wouldn’t say he’s the best chef in the world maybe the most famous and dam good at his job but not the best
Yeah not traditional but I’m sure it tasted good
Exactly
The way he says huevos TRIGGERS ME
At least he says tortillas alright.
I saved all your settlements now I gotta cook for you? Dammit Preston.
I don’t mind at all hahaha and my parents are super mexican

"Start scattering my beans in a relaxed manor" -Gordon Ramsay 2018
Me and my husband both mexican the whole video:
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
which part was wrong?
@@rme1383 I don't think there was anything wrong because huevos rancheros are really just eggs over a tortilla accompanied by a sauce. On the other hand, as a Mexican myself, I also felt this cringe feeling over me throughout the entire video. We Mexicans have a sense of pride over what we let others call "authentic Mexican" and if it doesn't suit what we were raised with growing up, then we bash on it. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not.
I'm not even Mexican and this scares me. Gordon and beef wellington = 100% Huevos rancheros...... I bet they are tasty...
@@pablofelix6208 Tortilla frita, sin convertirla en tostada.
Recomiendo canal: de mi rancho a tu cocina, pero es un buen chef!!!!
Ella si es, este guey no para comics Mexicana no
Good luck eating that for breakfast and not missing the World Cup due to being on the toilet
That's not Huevos Rancheros, but it probably tastes awesome.
to be fair, he called it HEY-vos rancheros (not WAY-vos)...which i assume is an inferior British version
ogmius2001 he's Scottish .
No it’s not. Agreed !
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes it is. Chef Ramsey made it for himself. Don't fight over it period.
"Hhwahvos Rwansheros" 😂
Carlos Ace I cringed when he said it like that bro! 😂😂🤣🤣
Carlos Ace lmaoo
hahahaha! So true! "Si no nosotros... ¿quién?"
Right? Yo soy blanca, but I've spent most of my life in New Mexico, and I was like "ooh, Gordon, no! That's not how you pronounce that, or how you make huevos rancheros."
LOL
Cumin: "native to the Mediterranean region"... Gordon: "generous on the cumin, that gives it this really nice sort of dark nice Mexican flare"... he literally just pulls shit out of his ass
Lol cry about it
I like ramsey but his mexican dishes are extremely americanized
Leonardo Mendoza extremely nasty I would say. You can’t really fuck with tradicional Mexican food. I’m surprised he didn’t put cheddar cheese on this shit plate he cooked
I came to the comment section strictly for feedback, but none so far from my brothers down south
I lost belief in the genuinity when he said you can't have Mexican without...garlic. I mean WTF, garlic applies to nearly most types of cuisines. When I think of Mexican food, I certainly don't think of garlic specifically.
@@pupstermobster8567 most most Mexican dishes have garlic. Trust me.
@@pupstermobster8567 I mean, you even said it applies to pretty much any cuisine, so he was still technically right. but even then garlic is basically like salt and pepper in Mexican food with all the soup and rice we make

Gordon must have become swole from dealing with all those restaurant owners on Kitchen Nightmares
Hello Justin.
Hello Nebbixle
Gordon Ramsay is actually the second coming of Christ, that's why everything he cooks tastes like God himself cooked it.
Chewtag never had anything cooked by Gordon himself
And those people from hotel hell
Sorry Gordon but I don’t think no Mexican would like those beans
Nobody:
Gordon Ramsay: juewos grancherous
😂
😂😂😂
Gordon on Kitchen Nightmares: *Too much garlic! Pissing with garlic!!!*
Gordon cooking: *Omg I love garlic! LOAD UP girlfriends!!*
Gordon personally loves garlic.
The customer might not. It's better to follow a recipe consistantly.
'I want a little color in the beans..." -- they are BLACK!!!!
Imagine Gordon watching a Mexican attempting to do a beef wellington...yup, that's what it's like for Mexicans watching this.
No, I have done it and I FOLLOW THE RECIPE.
I bet Ramsay moisturizes with Olive Oil.
Italians
2:36 That sauce looks like countless dishes on "Kitchen Nightmares" that he would say looks like someone threw up on his plate.
Chili Poppa this is a sauce inside another thing, the ones he blames onto are the ones on pasta that should be part of the dish look
"You didn't make it to the third round. You shouldn't have made it to the second."
frenchiveruti
Oh I see. It's okay cuz the throw up is on the inside
Chili Poppa it's about presentation, which Gordon accomplishes by not splashing sauce all over the plate and adding all those white boy garnishes. Makes something that looks like vomit when *I* serve it into somethig more Michelin-starred.
Chili Poppa cuz it tasted like shit and wasnt fresh made.
"Who would not get out of bed for that delicious brunch"
*Depression has entered the chat*
Whomp whomp
Don't call this "Huevos Rancheros" because it's not!
Well thankfully he didn’t, he really said “CHWEYVOS CHANCHECKOS”
Gordon is ripped.
Oldschool well he does exercise everyday
Oldschool eating the lamb sauce
Oldschool he regularly does Iron Man and triathlons
Oldschool you donut
Gordon is Ramsay

Nobody: "Here's how it could be improved..."
Secretly wants the real recipe!
Although this is not authentic. Gotta give him props for trying. I can’t even get up in the morning and make myself a sandwich.
Jajajajajaa
🤣🤣🤣
C Es that’s what my husband says as well
Who eats a sandwich for breakfast ?😂😂
What does it need to be authentic? To be cooked by a Mexican? To be cooked in Mexico using ingredients grown in mexico? A certificate of authentication? It's an authentic Mexican dish cooked by a guy who knows food.
Gordon is constantly holding an invisible bowl in his right hand.
Gordon: that's the base of our breakfast. Beautiful.
Also Gordon: it looks like a bowl of diarrhea

Here's the actual title of the video is, "Gordon cooks literally anything regional and literally thousands upon thousands of natives claim they could've cooked it better"
Dogebama no its “gordon tries saying words in other languages and fails”.
If you've ever had huevos rancheros, you know he didn't make them in this video.
He can't even say in properly...let alone make it properly.
It's like this in every ethnic food video. People have different recpies, just because you guys make it different doesn't mean Gordon's is any worse or better.
Its not worse its just not the real thing, its like when people call tex mex authentic Mexican food its just not
"Lightly seasoned"
>Tosses enough salt to kill a ghost

Those beans look dry af! Tienen que tener caldito...
Jajaja...Caldito!! yes yes yes they have to!!
Eso, eso, eso
Chale, then the tortilla foundation gets too soggy and it may fall apart when you eat it with your manos
De acuerdo, pero es Gordon, leave him to give his twist.
John Gerald eso si, pero its part of the experience! Lol.
Canned tomatoes? Why is it that Mexican moms and grandmas have higher standards for cooking than a world-renowned chef.
They also have zero Michelin stars
"Literally tap that egg" I wasn't actually expecting him to do it at first, but then I heard the "literally" and I knew he meant business.

@@nicb4589 Thats like saying you can make an american cheeseburger using Nigerian beef and Norwegian cheese and say its "okay" because im putting my own twist on it. smh
Nic B more like he’s fucking up a standard Mexican dish. Let me use ketchup instead of tomato sauce for my spaghetti because I’m putting my own twist on things.
I failed to scatter my beans in a relaxed manner and now my whole school is shot up.
Gordon overcomplicated a simple dish that uses refried pinto beans, Mexican cheese, quality enchilada sauce and sliced ripe avacadoes. What he made is best described as California fusion cuisine, not huevos rancheros.
Fuck off lol. Le dices salsa de enchiladas y luego te quejas de que son californianos, seas mamon carnal
Exactly, you hit the nail on the head
I know this man went to school, is probably the best chef in the world. He knows every recipe in the book. He knows everything about food. I know i know.
But I’m 100% sure that if I tried what he just made and compare it to my local Mexican taquero. I would prefer his Tacos or dish over Ramsays.
Agreed and I've always said that Gordon specializes in 3 things: French, Freelance, and Fusion. This is more fusion.
But rember he’s not a Mexican and doesn’t fully specialize in Mexican quinine but he can still make a Mexican dish
Please tell me I'm not the only Mexican who couldn't stop laughing for minutes after listening to his pronunciation (attempt?) of "huevos rancheros" at 0:06
You are not.
You’ll be arrested in Mexico for serving this!
Alfred Best is there really a law that says that
Haha right!!!
He made it perfectly, everyone in the comments most likely don't know shit about food.
Alfred Best educate yourself
why tho? besides him being white? makes you sound ignorant :/
I don’t get how many people get so angry and Sophomoric with their insults over Ramsay’s version. The video title doesn’t say “Authentic Huevos Rancheros”. It’s definitely a play on the dish, but it looks like it tastes amazing. I’ve tried so many different versions of the dish myself, some fantastic, some terrible. But this one looks like a keeper to me.
The next video, a Mexican makes Shepard’s Pie.
NotYourFathersRootQueer does Mexico have any “chefs” that do NOT work at Taco Bell or Arby’s? Does Mexico have ANY chefs at all? Hmmm...I don’t think they do!
