A tip for anyone who uses masa Harina... put some lard in a microwave and get it nice and soft. fold it into your tortillas. Tortillas taste better with lard.

The beautiful thing about huevos rancheros is that there are so many ways to make them. This is not how I make them, but this looks delicious.

So excited to see you make homemade tortillas... My boyfriend bought me a bag of masa a long time ago in hopes I make corn tortillas. Will attempt soon and hopefully they are as good as the tortillas he grew up with in Mexico.
Just make sure to use lukewarm- warm water so your tortillas don't crack .. I learned that when I used cold water 🙃

Looks delicious! This is one of my favorite breakfast my mom makes. With the pico you should try cooking it in a bit of oil then add a little tomato sauce and a bit of water to thin it out and put a bit of chicken bouillon.
One of my all time fav breakfasts my Mom used to make us when I was a kid was HUEVOS RANCHEROS. Hugely popular in Colorado where we lived at the time.
She was a HUGE fan of this channel and you Sam. Ironically she passed away 10 months ago today from Breast Cancer. Thanks for this video and it couldnt have been a more perfect dish to make today. 🙏🙏🙏

You may wanna try cooking sliced onions with diced tomato garlic salt and pepper to make a salsa instead of the pico de gallo… love the wet tortilla. Sam is right as always we make black bean and beef chimichangas once a week for a special at the restaurant I work at. And as per my recipe the beans get a good bit of lime really helps elevate their flavor to the next level
