Doctor rates non-dairy yogurts: which is healthiest?

  • Which brand is the healthiest non-dairy yogurt? Many of you asked this after I rated dairy yogurts a couple weeks ago! I personally prefer organic grass fed Greek yogurt given the high protein content, but if you cannot tolerate dairy, here are some of the better options.
    These ratings are based on nutrition content and not taste. I look for yogurts that are low in sugar (less than 4g per serving) and ideally higher in protein, which is more difficult to find in non-dairy yogurts. You can always add a scoop of protein powder to your yogurt to give it a boost! Remember, you want your breakfast to ideally contain fiber, protein, anti-oxidants, and healthy fat! So if you are eating non-dairy yogurt, that could look like a scoop of vegan protein mixed into yogurt, topped with berries and nuts! Which is your favorite non dairy yogurt?
