    I watch many of your tutorials on my smartphone, and when I saw this cane a bit larger today, I said to myself, "Now THAT'S a GROOVY DAISY! And all the gone wrong Mondayness immediately started to dissipate from my body.
    (Although it makes the whole social isolation thing much easier, I don't much like me much when I'm grouchy...) Thanks so much, Samantha!

    I've made this cane today and it turned out beautiful! Thanks for sharing. It is a quite easy cane, but it took me like 35mins to do. I'd be glad if you could also show pieces where you used them.

    🤗❤️I just made this cane and for the first time in 3 years that I've been messing around with clay... I love,love,love....the way it came out. Thanks so much for this easy tutorial.
    I get down when I can't get something right, I put my clay to the side for a while when I get discourage . 😅 What's bother me the most is the fact that I waste all my clay and at the end it turns out muddy.

      I feel your pain!!! I spent about 2 years faffing about with clay, getting nowhere, ending up with a huge amount of muddy clay, before I successfully made a cane. I made that cane so many times, in different colour ways!!!😂 🤣 and I used the muddy clay as filler for beads. Oh I thought I was the bee's knees right about then!! 😂 🤣😂 🤣

      @@vivsalittlebitcrafty4854 hahaha I'm glad you end up using it. I did too, I just painted over it when I was done. I still have my good and bad days. Too bad I can't go out to the stores now to get me the clay I need. If not I would of make this one in lots of different colors.
      Happy claying....🤗
      Stay safe!

    Samantha thanks for awesome tutorial. I tried today but faced difficulty in reducing. My side pieces of cane were cleaner than central ones. I was unable to keep the perfect spacing between petals and when I tried to cut slices from cane the petal shape distorted and became somewhat flattened.
    But learnt a lot.
    Thank you!

    Hi Samantha, another concise, precise tutorial yielding great results. Thank you so much for your inspiration. IS there a reason you use translucent for packing? Could you use aother colour?

    • @JessamaTutorials
      @JessamaTutorials  4 роки тому +2

      I like to use translucent because I can then use the cane on any backing I want. However you can use any color clay to pack the cane.

    Have you stopped making videos?

    This is an older video so I hope you get this. I’m wondering why clayers reduce by sort of squeezing the middle top middle bottom? Would there be a different outcome if you just rolled the cane to reduce?

    • @JessamaTutorials
      @JessamaTutorials  8 місяців тому

      Rolling a cane will result in the image distorting more. You have more control when squeezing from the middle out. If the cane's not complex or the pattern doesn't need to be exact, I'll reducing by rolling.

      I'm afraid I don't ship internationally at the moment due to the virus and postal restrictions. I'll resume shipping as soon as I can.
