I add a chunk of scrap clay on each side when I reduce. All the distortion is in the scrap clay and I don’t lose any of the good cane.

I’ve watched a tutorial but although the lady was brilliant, she went far too fast and also really didn’t make anything from it at the end. ahhh, okay I understand. In fact all the colours I mention are the named colours of FIMO Soft, so Brilliant Blue is the particular packet called Brilliant Blue 🙂 Wherever I can in my tutorials I try and use the colours direct from the packets of Fimo soft - or whichever brand I am using - so that people can use the same colours.
