  • A one blend polymer clay cane.
    Mostly full length cane build, some parts faster than others.
    Black and white blend with an extra line and a bunch of squishing creates a few different designs in polymer clay.

    Amazing. I find that your work is similar to mine. It looks real unlike some other professional’s whose work is immaculate. My clay is very soft and blends in waves. I don’t know how some people keep their clay in STRAIGHT lines? I can’t.

    New subscriber here. I just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful tutorial. I have had mixed success with making canes but because you show everything, the work, the design, the process and even reducing and shaping the clay, I think I will be able to be successful with this one. Many of the tutorials don't show enough of the shaping process and almost none of the reducing and I believe those are the areas where my cane making goes off track. Thanks, I will be trying this one tonight.

    a lot of work but so worth it in the end. What clay do you use.I find that they differ as far as softness goes. Or maybe my hands are too hot. But I get a lot of residue and colour stain on my hands, especially black and red. Any hints appreciated.

    • @vividclay
      @vividclay  2 роки тому

      I use Premo Clay. I’ve tried others, but it’s my favorite for sure:) I don’t notice residue with the black as much as the red, but I would let it rest if it’s feeling squishy, use baby wipes to clean hands and surfaces, or just try to completely avoid red like I do 🤣… it’s always terrible for residue in my experience. ( Going to be hard to avoid with the Christmas season coming up soon….🤷🏼‍♀️lol)

    • @vividclay
      @vividclay  2 роки тому +2

      Your welcome :) and it’s just an unopened 2oz block of Clay resting on top to keep it from spreading:)
