Love my psvr2, genuine (literal) gamechanger. Since it came out, I've been playing way more VR games than flatscreen games. I really hope this means more people can dive in and get to experience it too!
I only paid around $200CAD at launch for my PSVR 2 Call of the Mountain bundle. That price will never be that low from a major retailer for a brand new PSVR 2 bundle. Keep in mind that the $200CAD price is more like $130Euros.
I'm sold for $350. That's what i wanted in the first place. I don't think it will be much cheaper for a while. I've been waiting on playing re4 and re7 and gt7. I'm excited! 🎉
PSVR2 is Awesome, Stoked for RE9 News at TGS 2024. Even though we have few years for the VR2 version. But luckily all these other games to distract us till then. Finally trying TWD series on VR2 & excited to play The Exorcist: Legion
I guess this is a good thing getting more of them out there, although I'm a bit annoyed having paid full price. Could they at least sell the damn controllers separately in case one breaks so I don't have to buy an entirely new headset?
I believe they might release a Playstation VR2 version 2 like they did with the original psvr I you remember they had 2 different versions of the 1st headset so I would be surprised if they released a slightly updated version with colour pass through for Mixed Reality games to and maybe pancake lenses as the ps5 pro is ment to boost the graphics on PSVR2 games by adding better raytracing
@@allenantonio4389 the more you play, the more you get used to it. I used to play for only 15 mins, but kept playing for 10 mins each time until I got used to it. Now can play for around 2hrs. You have to train your brain over time.
Psvr2 should have been $350. @ launch to give it a chance. Also, limiting its feature set on PC to gatekeep them on ps5 is absolutely ridiculous! While requiring an extra dongle for connection is even more idiotic! Sony, 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️!
As someone whom paid full price, I don't regret my buy. I knew the moment RE8 was having VR2. So I saved up & RE's are Awesome Experience on VR2. Over 1,000 kits sent for devs on PSVR2. What's wrong with a PC adapter? I tbh rather a Native PS5 app to play STEAM VR option cuz I don't play on pc. And think that'd be a game changer in the industry tbh. Especially from Awesome headset that VR2 is. But without 😎 haptics

Bitting the bullet in the beginning and offering the psvr2 at $350. At launch would have easily gotten it to around 2million or more sold! And so have a far larger install base for developers to be interested in porting games etc. They are now at a point that they stopped production of the psvr2. They are selli g off old stock currently. And have only a couple of first-party games in development. Internally, they are saying that Playstation has pulled funds from the project! Launching psvr2 on pc could have helped sales of the hardware considerably. But, when you remove headset vibration hdr eye tracking any controller haptics besides vibration adaptive triggers And add a dongle to make the connection even more problematic and costly. What sense does it even make to the pc consumer? How does it change the game without those features? That is a huge L on their part!
Says the guy that probably never played it 😂. The hate some people have is cringe. It's not a brilliant game but it is a good game. Probably in the ballpark of fallout 4 good. But not as good as Oblivion, Skyrim or Fallout 3.
Cmon people, read the writing on the wall. It wouldn’t get a huge price drop if there was a future for it. 90% of the games are trash and Sony knows this.
Even tho I kinda agree with you, literally every generation of hardware has gotten a price drop outside of the current consoles in the market [Switch included, which is still insane]. The fact that PSVR2 got a price reduction in such a short amount of time is what makes me agree with you tho.
It's quite obvious u don't own 1 or have good taste in games, from sounds of it. I paid full price & been enjoying PSVR2. Definitely aren't tech demos at all
@@WaynerTheGamertotally agree with you. The new No Man’s Sky update in PSVR2 is crazy good. Foveated rendering, haptics in the headset, good framerate… The ONLY thing I’m disappointed with is no Astrobot VR on PS5

Absolutely not interested in psvr2 , im not paying £350 for a paperweight just to play a couple of titles which most feel like tech demos
