I was on my way home from a VW show in Eureka Springs, AR when this was live but I'm glad to be able to catch up today! The live streams are growing on me, I have to say. Tech/shop videos brought me here but It's cool to get to hear the stories behind some of the other folks I am participating alongside in #vdubrun22

Did you say Eureka Springs, AR? I asked, as if I can't just read it again.. :D I'm hoping to expand my distance in the years to come, but this is my "home show". Another great turnout this year!
@@vdubjunkie I think I've only missed one in the last 20 years due to being sick. It's a great show in a great town!
@Atomicmellon unfortunately I can’t say the same. I didn’t learn of it until after I’d been living here for quite a while. In another two decades, I hope to be able to say the same thing though! 😁
I'm always seeing these live streams in my UA-cam home days after they were streamed. I am really bummed because UA-cam is failig to notify me abotu them.
I loved all the initial comments about keeping the VW hobby alive. I do drive m VWs to work everday. I'd be very happy if I am eer invited to these streams.

Annie is the coolest human. Huge respect for this lady. I grew up next door and my Dad was the VW neighbour (he had 18 Beetles and 3 vans over the years). Love this whole interview! You’re doing so amazing!
thanks lady!! I can back this claim up. Her dad was the VW guy i talked about in the video. they were great neighbours and friends growing up and still today. Lise-Anne make sure your dad sees this.

Wow what an awesome interview. Very good job. These kind of interviews help me so much as a beginner. Gives me hope I guess I should say lol. It’s amazing to me that she rebuilt that engine knowing nothing about it to begin with. I was not familiar with her on UA-cam before but I will now go over and subscribe to her channel…. I would like to see you do an interview with Glen the Duckman
