I thought my 3 inch spacer was huge the one he had in his hand was ridiculous 🤣
I purchased a set of 1.5" spacers Hub Centric spacers for my 04 f-150. I did need to grind 1/4" of my lugs but it put my tires exactly how i wanted them and it looks great. You do it right it works. This was over a year ago and they are great.
fecklar1905 just ordered those same ones for my 03 z71 I’m pumped
New to the wheel spacer/adapter universe. Thanks for taking time to help educate folks. Liked and subbed.
Hey I have a red truck will spacers work on it
You will need a red spacer and you can get 4 red spacers on ebay for 39.95 free shipping.
No it wont
It will work but it only if you put the front seat all the way back
LMFAO. That's too funny
Sorry for the delay - Which shade of red is it? Hard to tell from just "red"....
Dude is everyone an idiot How can people not figure out that shit on their own experiences...
hey i just wanted to ask because i have a car with 17" rims these are 205/40 R17 because they are so thick i have problem with space on the road so my car is steering all over the place.. i have som original rims with 185/60 R14 and with those i have no problem with steering... is it possible to match the distens from wheel to wheel with spacers? if i have done the math correctly i wil need 20mm spacers per wheel.. will it help?
Since I got 2” spacers do I have to buy more lug nuts or are they included in the purchase off your website?
Can I still tow 5000 lbs with a 1.5 inch hub-centric spacer?
Yes as long as they are installed and torqued correctly you shouldnt see any issues with towing!
Will adding spacers affect the towing capacity or ability of my truck?
Plenty of guys tow with spacers on DreamK, just depends on what you're towing and how heavy you tow!
2017 GMC Canyon Diesel - I want to put 5 or 6” lift on it. Everyone is telling me the bolt pattern makes it difficult to finds nice rims/wheels and many are very limited. Any advice? Do I need conversion spacers to change the bolt pattern?
Y’all ain’t have no search results
Jeffrey Lelevich Sr get 6x5.5 adapters
The only thing that affect towing is gas vs diesel.
I purchased different wheels for my truck and the hubs are different sizes so if I get a hub centric spacer would It match my wheel bore too or no?
Yes most do Tragicc!
Without trying to confuse anyone, when he says adding a spacer doesn't change suspension geometry is right and wrong. He is right you don't need an alignment as the static geometry has remained unchanged but it is going to impact your dynamic suspension geometry (scrub radius, suspension deflection, etc.) Good vid!
clarification is clear cut, thanks bro. I think Fuller meant wheel travel or height adjustment-wise. like adding tires from 70 to 75 height affected, not 265 to 285 wide, this waste gas
How thick of a spacer do I need for my 2013 duramax dually rears truck is get lifted this weekend putting 37/13.5/22 on do i have to put spacer first to clear the leaf's then one more in the middle to clear tires from rubbing
I wanna put spacers on my 09 silverado with 20x12 with 33x12.5 tires. You think if i put a 2in spacer will it rub? I want that aggresive look of the wheels sticking out a little bit more without having to cut the stock lugs
We would expect metal trimming and rubbing!
Atoyto Hi I have Hyundai Santa Fe 2011 Ltd. What's the right Wheel Spacers to have a good clearance from my Brake Caliper do i will go with 15mm or 20mm
I was thinking of putting 2 inch spacers on my rear wheels 275 55 20 🧐 want beef up my rear end also adding dual exhaust and rear fender flares🧐hmmm will it look good that way?
That would look insane! I don't know if anyone is running that specific of a setup but you can always check our gallery to see a visual for those builds! 🤘 --> www.customwheeloffset.com/wheel-offset-gallery
Its amazing a couple months ago I looked at trucks with spacers like they were suicide rides then I watched these videos and a couple others and now I am looking into maybe buying a set of 2 inch spacers for my ram, I just have to determine if they will clear my fenders on a stock 2nd gen that already on 33s and that's a hard decision to make when I am 4 hours away from my truck at college
Could I just keep adding spacers and wheels off the rearend till they go around the world and back to connect to my front axle ?
You supply the funds, we'll supply the rest!
Can I run 33x12.5x18x8.5 on stock wheels and plus 2" borla spacers. I already have 3" suspension lift

So I have a 2018 Honda Civic EX-T Sedan, and I’m wanting to put 1” spacers all around. However, I am concerned about any potential damage they may cause either sudden or over time. Factory suspension and factory wheels will stay - I just want my wheels flush with my fender wells. Can you advise me on wether or not I will be doing damage to anything? No factory studs will need to be cut with the 1” spacers I’m going with, and they are Hubcentric. Please advise!
Also, the place I go to requires me to come back 2-3 different times at a certain mileage to re-torque. Is this the way to prevent any long-term damage, or is it inevitable that there will be damage some way or another down the road??
As long as they are hubcentric and installed correctly you should not see any problems!
My 06 Silverado 2wd has a leveling kit I bought some 20x10 with 285/55R20 they bit rub on the plastic does 2in spacers will work?
thank you for making this a little bet clearer, but tell you the truth. im still lose. i know well i was told on my new chevy i will need spacer to use aftermarket rims, with a 24 33x12.5 24 or 26 35 13.5 26 help me
I purchase Rims Come off 2022 tundra the diameter smaller about half inch from
my stock hub for 2006 4 runner , both are 6 lugs bolts , any recommendation please
I got a set of KSP lug centric spacers. They are 6061 T6 2". I keep hearing hub centric are the way to go for safety reasons. I installed them using the installation specs (star) with lock tight on my Jeep YJ. Should I switch them out for hub centric?
We love hub centric wheel spacers! They help take a lot of the weight off the studs and our BORA wheel spacers come with a lifetime warranty! Check them out here!

@@CustomOffsetsTV being lug centric meaning the lugs have centred the wheel there will be no weight on the centre hub to deal with either way as hub centric spacers still use lug centering seats and tapers, you are ust plugging your product and not giving any real science
How about 26x18’s -101 with a 4” spacer? Would that be bad on your ballpoints? 😂
Rene Drew underrated comment
Your going to tear shit up with that set up

Bora Wheel Spacer. 2021 TrailBoss 1.5” what’s the torque specs ?
I have a stock 02 Chevy 1500 with after market wheels and the truck is leveled but the wheels only have -18 offset with 265 wide tires and stock height which didn’t get any poke of the tire. Which spacer would give the ideal tire poke just a bit outside the wheel flare but would still not cause rubbing or anything.
Check out our gallery on our website and see what other people have done to get some modest stance on their 02 Chevy 1500!

I have a 98 Chevy silverado C1500 2wd truck. The bolt pattern is 5x127. I have a old set of 20in wheels I'd like to put on it ,bolt pattern is 5x115 . I would like to know what wheel adapters I will need to put the wheels on and flush they up all around.
You would have to do a 5x127 to 5x115 adapter and the smallest you could go without trimming studs would be a 1.75" thick adapter
I have stock 03 f150 4wd with Factory 17x9 wheels. I’m looking at purchasing some Anthem wheels. The two sizes I see are 17x9 0 and 17x9 -12. I’m not sure which one I would need. Also would I need a spacer for that?
the difference is 12mm further out with the -12 wheels, so it will sit a little more aggressive brandon. Spacers are not required
Do more lug = safer set up? My buddy has a 6 lug and I have a 8 lug. We both plan on running 26x16 but bigger wheel = heavier. And chance are the 26x16 can snap and fly out his truck. Is this why semi trucks are 10 lug ? I just want the truck to be safer. Should he do a conversion? And also do 3" spacers make it safer ? Or les safe since you're pushing away the wheel even further. Even though it high strength aluminum
There are tons of variables when it comes to "safety" proper torque specs, proper lug nuts for the wheels, making sure you don't have stripped lug studs, etc etc. There are guys running 26x16's on F150's Ram 1500's with no issues. There are guys running 20x10's and 33's that have snapped stuff due to improper install.
Install it right, it will be fine. Use proper lug nuts, and torque to spec, and you will be fine! - spacers included.

I have a question, I have a 1996 Suburban K1500 6 lugs, but I'm wanting to put 8 Lug hummer wheels. Do y'all recommend some sort of adapter to convert 6 to 8 lugs? Or should I stay away from adapters. Just wanna stay away from possible wheels coming off while driving.

What would happen if u have the lug nuts position rearranged on the hub? Was told by my mech that Wheel adaptors distort kingpin angle damaging and straining the ball joints, steering system, bushes and lots of negative feed back at the steering wheel..
They would essentially act no different than wheel bearings as long as you are moving up in stud count, never down
I bought 2" B.O.R.A's from you guys and for some reason my truck vibrates around 75 only with the spacers and it feels heavy, like if I was running MT's
I'm running 305/55/20 nitto ridge grapplers on a 2016 RAM 1500. any suggestions?
Did you ever fix the issue? Sometimes the wheel or spacer needs to be centered
Curious if you solved the issue
Not sure I saw this question. Does the, say, disc spacer have to be the same radius as the hub on car and wheel? If the spacer is smaller in size does that have any impact on durability of the spacer and/or wheel?
It should be a similar size. Not required to be exact, but typically they are the same size.
I have a 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500, should I go with 6x5.5 to 6x135 or 6x139.7 to 6x130 ? (Bolt pattern)

How can I measure for spacers? I want perfect fitment or flush look but this RC lift I got sticks my front end out more then the back please help custom offsets so I can order the right part.
Measure the front width, and the rear, subtract the rear width from the front, and then divide by 2, that is the width of each spacer required for the rear

I do have a Peugeot 504 saloon which has 14inch rims.. want to upgrade to 18inch rims, how can i do it safely? Also is it true that, if i do that say by use of adapters the max speed limit i can safely handle it is 60mph??

Hello there!! i noticed this video was made 4 years ago but hopefully i can get a response or answer on a question or concern i have and is as follows.
Im planing on installing 2" Hub-centric spacers on my 02 Toyota Sequoia, but i noticed on 99% of the videos on (YT) they use the lug nuts provided with the spacers for installation, but yet (None) use long neck nuts to be able to have more threads grip and to prevent rotating motion for installation from vehicle hub to wheel spacers. Can I know why? would it be better with them or without them?
People ask some dumb questions!! Lol 😂😂
There are never stupid questions.. just because you know everything doesn't mean everyone does.. you can't assume that just because you know something everybody else does...
Bruhhh. No loctite??? I’m sure you know a lot more about this than I do you, but I heard that that is a death wish. Especially with aluminum ones which expand and contract with Heat. Retorquing doesn’t always fix it
Don’t mind paying for quality but not only are they expensive, Wait time for bora spacer/adapters is 4-6 weeks. Make sure you don’t have any camping, road trips planned.....Still waiting on mine.
F🤬ck!!! I should of watched this before I bought mine. I only ordered one inch spacers. I see I’m probably gonna have to cut my lugs! I should of got 2” spacers.
Hey so I bought rims but the lug hole to small it's a 115mm and my lugs are 120mm is it better to make the lug hole bigger or just buy the spacer that makes your 120mm to a 115mm ??
Adapters would be the way to go.
Custom offsets thank you
I have a 2019 GMC Sierra with some 20x10 wheel -19 offset, 33’s tires. The wheels hit the brake caliper what size of spacers or adapter do I need without any cutting.
I have a 2021 Silverado, how big of a spacer can I go before having to cut my stud. Added a lift and just want it for looks. Running stock 20 wheel for obvious reasons $. At least for now.
2021 ram 2500 I want to push my factory wheels out some like 2 or 2 1/2 inches but I tow 20k lbs do you recommend them if I haul a bunch of weight or it’s not safe to .
Add What’s the big deal is cut the studs get some new ones put on
How much spacer is too much spacer? I know it’ll put more wear on ball joints but is there like a safety concern between a 1 inch spacer and like a 4 inch spacer?
As long as everything is torqued down correctly and re-torqued there should be no issue.
Custom Offsets Alright perfect thank you
I have a 2020 JL Unlimited Sport with a 2.5 inch lift and 35's on 20in rims that already stick out 2 inches from the stock fenders. But more is more so I want to put 2 inch spacers on. I saw one the other day that looked insane with about 4 inches of tires sticking out. Any issues besides what you talked about with this set up?
I got 285/70/17 on my 2018 chevy silverado, it rubs on my upper control arm, what can i do to fix that?? Would a -12 offset fix that or a spacer?? It has a 2 inch leveling kit in the front.
If you are looking for the least in expensive fix, The spacer would be the way to go!
Custom Offsets what size spacer would i need?? How do i measure the tire rub to the upper control arm so i know how many mm i need.
The max you’d need if I had to guess would be a .5 inch spacer
I added a 2 inch spacer to the front of 2019 Toyota Tundra. Will a 3 inch leveling kit stop the rubbing when turning deep?
can u change out (with a hydrolic press) a broken wheel stud on a 1.5 inch bora wheel spacer 2500hd ?

Okay well what about a .25 inch spacer with stock studs? What is a safe number of turns on your lugnuts?
Every brand has a different recommendation Dylan, or you can get extended studs!
6.5 to 8
Should I use lock tight?? If so what color Red or blue?
You should not need to use any sort of lock tite. Just torque and re-torque correctly

I own an 05 silverado 2500. How big of a spacer do i need to put in the rear to match the stance of the front? 2” is my guess but want to get it right and only do it once
Best bet is to measure the difference in width front to rear and go from there! That way you can be accurate !
Caleb Broege 1.75" or 2".
1.75 is the lowest u can go on chevy. 2in should look pretty perfect depending on wheels and tires
If I get a 1inch spacers for the front would I have to cut the studs for the lug nuts to go through? And would it fit probably with the rims on it?

I have a brand new 2017 Chevy 1500 I put half spacer on the front Bc after I lifted it 3 inch it started too rub on my control arms. After installing the spacer my truck says on the dash that steering assist my be reduced what dose this mean and how do I fix it ?????
Steering wheel assist, assists in turning the wheel, it might be power reduced, Best bet would be to go to the dealership and have them look into it!
Custom Offsets has that ever happen on any truck you put spacers on ???

I'm running a Gen 4 RAM with 17x8 wheels and 31x10 tires, the 4" RC lift I'm looking at says I need 20 inch wheel or bigger to work with the lift. I'm assuming this is because the geometry change from the lift. Is this something that spacers can help with or is it better pick a different lift?
Spacers can help, but you're best bet is to go with bigger wheels!
I have a 2003 Ford F250. Bought 2" Rough Country spacers/adapters. Need a 2.25" because the factory lug bolts are a rad bit too long. Do you guys make a 2.25" spacer? If so how do I go about ordering?

Can I still tow my trucks rated capacity safely with spacers?
Javier Garcia you’ll be fine just don’t go with the cheap eBay spacers. Definitely worth it to get Bora spacers if you are going to be towing. I just wish Bora made them from 7075.
I can't believe 1 pair of 6 mm plate spacers (not adapters) to separate my rear duallies is $300 lol

Please email us at info@customoffsets.com so an expert can verify!!
Would a 3-4 inch spacer affect the ride quality?
It'll make bumps a little "exaggerated" But not like, "oh my this is a wagon"!
In what ways do the spacers change suspension geometries? And will I need an alignment after spacers installed? Explanation would be great
Smaller spacers won't change much. After any suspension work you should always get an alignment.
No not necessarily, always good to check, but it will actually cause more wearing on your front end parts, especially your bearings.
Hi I have a 20x9 wheel with +18 offset I'm running 35x12.50 tires what size spacers would I need to have a -18 offset on my jeep wrangler jk thanks
From +18 to -18 is moving the wheel 36mm out, so you need spacers as close to 36mm thick as you can get. Be aware your studs are probably longer, so you might think about going a little thicker so you don't have to cut them. Is there a reason you specifically want a -18 offset?
Can you have different size spacers on the different wheels for AWD cars? Like can I run a 2 inch spacer on the rear wheels and a 1 inch spacer on the front?

i dont feel comfortable cutting my factory stud to the tip on the mounting bolt. is that safe?
We’d recommend searching forums and asking local truck groups 🤘🏼

I would say though that if you throw on spacers and have some issues with steering(tires wanting to wander), you may want an alignment to compensate for your wider track-width.
hub centric is absolutly neccsisary or not?
You might not need hub-centric spacers..... but it helps.. it does help.
