- Hi everyone! In this video I answer questions regarding a slip stitch alternative (invisible join) that I use when finishing rounds to get a smooth finish. Some viewers have issues with it unraveling so I share how I weave in ends. Hope these tips help.
If you are interested in knowing more about this blanket project I will be doing a full update in a couple of weeks. Here are some links on related videos for this sunburst granny square:

Hi everyone! In this video I answer questions regarding a technique I use when finishing rounds to get a smooth finish by omitting a knot /slip stitch.
Some of you mentioned that you are having difficulty keeping the stitch tight so here is a quick video showing how I like to weave in my ends. Hope this helps! If you are interested in knowing more about this blanket project I will be doing a full update in a couple of weeks.

Luv the clear demo of finishing off round, thanks
Great technique!! I've been using for amigurumi projects that are worked in the round, as well, and it works great on color changes!
That’s wonderful! 😀🧶
Love the invisible join! Thank you for sharing! ❤️🙏🏻💜
Awesome 😀🧶
Thank you so much Roz. This is exactly what I was referring to…a seamless finish

I have never seen a needle like the one you sew your ends in with. I like it. Beatiful blanket pattern.
Thank you ! Yes same here on the needle ... I had seen it online when I was shopping for something else and I’ve been addicted to them ever since . Link is in the description box below. I haven’t had any luck finding them in shops which is a shame - it’s underrated! 💕
I believe it’s called an invisible join. Thank you so much for showing that!
An invisible join! Ok great - thank you! 👏🏻😀
What a great idea..thx for sharing..👍👍
Thank you , Laurel ! 💕

Será un hermoso regalo. ¡Buena suerte! xo Gracias
Just found your video on the invisible join. I love the idea and thr finished look but i find it makes an extra stitch and throws my stitch count off. I tried using it in a granny square to join 2 dc clusters together at the end of the round. In other words, it left a chain 1 space between the clusters instead of joining the clusters together. Does it not work on granny square clusters or did i do something wrong? Btw i love you videos, so easy to listen and follow. Thanks.
Ah, yes , I know what you’re talking about.
This was happening to me too. Do you start your round with chains? If so, work your join into the top stitch of the first “true” stitch of the round instead of the chain. the joining stitch will sit on top of that first ch 3 and your count should be accurate. Let me know if that makes sense. 💕
Why can’t I ever see any of the info?
All I can see are comments, never any of the things you say you’ve put down at bottom for us to see, like for instance where you found the yarn needle you have. Love love love your videos. You have such an easy voice and explain everything so well. One more thing I like is the fact that you don’t have some bright nail polish on . May just be me but I find it distracting, at times. Have a blessed day .
Thank you so much and I really appreciate your kind words 💕
Ok, yes, that can be hard to find sometimes.
If you are on your phone , look under the video . You’ll see the title and then below it the start of a description of what is in the video. You should see the word “more” emboldened.
If you click that, it will open the whole description box.
That’s where you’ll see the links and more information that I mentioned.
It’s similar If you are on the computer but I can’t recall offhand the location of the “more” on there.
I think there might be a video on UA-cam on how to find the description box, if all else fails. 🧶💕
Awesome info. Thanks
Thank you ! 💕
❤❤❤❤❤
This great if you’re changing color, but what if you’re continuing with the same color? Any ideas?
Hi Judith, you wouldn’t have the same issues with knots since you aren’t switching colors with each round. Or are you asking how to make this square without changing colors?
Actually it was a question I asked without thinking. Sometimes when I’m making beanies, my joins don’t look perfect but I am always looking for better ways to join. Thanks for responding
U sound just like Sarah Jessica Parker!!!!
I do ?? 🤣🤣 great! Now all I need is Mr. Big 😀🤣🙌🏻💕🧶
