I’d recommend doing some research on places to eat….so many good spots there…..better than just randomly picking a spot to eat.

When you get to Chang Mai try Khao Soi Coconut Noodle Curry.
Trying to get across the road, looked like a Japanese game show😱 " bet your life ". Loved the power of the cap🧢🧢🧢brave lady 😊As you went down the alley, saw the bowls of food and water for the cats & dogs 🐶😻😉. Always follow the locals, they know 😊About 20 minutes in. Thought you were filming Granville from open all hours, so many bags, the bike should be doing wheelies 🛵Not sure about dry noodles 🍜🤔And the point to menu, brilliant 🍛🥘🍲🍝🍜👈👉. Question? Good Evening DJ. I am Thoroughly Enjoying your video's of Your Adventure in Thailand. I was looking at the Exchange rate for the Bhat with our English Pound. You can really get a lot for your Money in Thailand. The Food and Choice of different Dishes looks absolutely Gorgeous. This is the Perfect way to see the Street Food and Try anything that looks Enticing to You. I would Try anything and make it a Mystery for me. I really Love Thai Food. I Love a Good Pad Thai with Vegetables and either Beef or Chicken. So many different types of Thai Food to Taste and Extend ones own choice. Very much, Do what the Locals go and do. Try anything new and just go and Enjoy Yourself in this Beautiful Country DJ. Your Adventure has only just begun. Have a Great time DJ.

😀 At 17:11 while you were describing your pork curry breakfast, and just about to sample the egg (oblivious of the little observer over your shoulder) I was focused on the lizard moving around on the wall behind you, near the green rope. Anyone else spot it? 😯🤫😄
Its a Gecko .You must never have been in Thailand if that surprised you . They eat Mosquitos so are very welcome .
@@anthonydowling3356 Oh, I wasn't 'surprised', I know what it's doing there (used to seeing while travelling, although not been to Thailand). What's funny is Darren is oblivious of it...and didn't seem to notice even afterwards in the editing (didn't comment) and no-one else (as yet) has commented on it 😄
Like you have mentioned, if you can find were the taxi drivers and locals eat and it's busy you have cracked it , watching you as the pillion passenger on the moped reminded me of the program,
"your life in there hands"

Hey up Darren it seemed like you were keen then unsure but jumped our of the comfort zone and gave it ago, well done mate, street food in asia is an everyday thing for locals so if a place is locals and busy then thats the hygiene/food quality sorted, probably the opposite in Western catered for clean looking place, enjoy

Good on you for getting stuck into the street food. Tip - use a fork to push the food onto a spoon. Locals eat using a spoon.

the spicy condiment is everywhere in thailand abit of a kick, ask or get a pad ka pao a thai basil stir fry with egg amazing

I for sure ate dog in thailand the smell of the soup was like no other it literally smelt like a wet dog that smell that all dogs no matter what breed they are smell of after being in the rainnor sea 😢

Fabulous vlog again DJ smiles all round in the food markets. Great advice to eat where the locals eat. Our thoughts go with the school children that were tragically killed in Bangkok today involving a school bus so awful.😲
DJ - there's an App you can get whereby you put on your camera and point it at the writing and it translates it into English for you. A bit like scanning a QR Code. Cheers

DJ when you get to Chiang Mai, you have to try Khao Soi, Gaeng Hang Lay, Larb Muang Moo. Very nice! Also you will love the Chiang Mai sausage’s. 👍
Greetings Darren. Your travel experience there is so helpful for me. I don't think you used the BTS. I hear Taxis and Tuk Tuk's are unreliable. you are so correct about stretching out 3 nights in BKK. The Baht is getting ever so stronger by the end of the week, that yummy dumpling would be 60 pence not 50 pence. 36 Million Tourists in Thailand

That’s called a bitter gourd I believe , also found in the soup with a dish called “ khao mun gai “ , khao mun gai aka chicken over rice is typically eaten in the mornings by Thais
Tell you what young Darren, I admire your tenacity troughing down street food first thing in the morning before embarking on a flight!!! Just hope the plane has a toilet just for you mate!
The best I saw I India was mum dad and 3 kids on a motorbike and dad was riding along talking in a mobile phone!! Health and safety put properly in its place!
Use Google translate mate , press the camera icon , hover over menu and it will translate, well kinda 😁 good luck, oh yeah a few people have said to try pad krapow, definitely mate you won't be disappointed

I must be the only one that finds that place disgusting. It’s absolutely filthy, noisy, food sitting out for hours on end, the humidity, no health and safety, dreadful. Not for me. I’ll find a Thai restaurant in England. The sooner you’re out, the better. I hope it’s living up to your expectations 😮 Oh and a lizard on the wall, go quick before they fry you ! Are you limping by the way ?

Darren, being somewhat lost in Bangkok coming for the airport I got a ride on a motor bike taxi to my hotel. It was the driver and me behind with my big suitcase between us. How I survived I will never know.
I discovered Bangkok 25 years ago and it is my favourite city! I discovered Tenerife 5 years ago! 👍
