    I am 190 I always been 145 my whole life at one point lower than that I've gained over 50 lbs in the last 4 years and now that I am engaged I am wanting more to be healthy again. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx5VQ5nUzHu6i0O5_u7ipyLnCz0lbsSvr0 I am not fat but I am thick and have muscle. I am very close to how you were but a lil smaller but I am so sick people making comments to me like I'm huge or like you said having shorts that used to be so cute on me and now I can't even find a pair to fit me. I used to love shopping now I don't even want to go to the store and if I do I pick the biggest size don't even try it on and deal with it. I went from size 5 to size idk because I don't even want to know the real number. I hate looking at pics of myself now or me before. thank you for your video it's time to make a change.

    I love your videos! As a woman who will turning 49 in a couple of weeks, I feel the best I have EVER felt in my life!, and I also have the confidence to back up what I feel:) In my earlier years I felt insecure, cared too much what people thought and had almost no confidence. Fast forward a couple decades and to me, this is truly the best time of my life and I look forward to it getting better! What a wonderful tool YT is!

      I just started intermittent fasting so I eat from 1pm to 8 PM so I don't have breakfast so I just eat 2 meals at the start of the eight hour and at the end

    Thank for posting this. I would definitely like to see a more detailed video. I am about 50+ pounds overweight! At my skinniest, I was 116lbs (I'm 5'7"). Last fall, with lots of cardio and changes in my poor diet, I managed to lose 25 lbs. However, I still have a long way to go. I'm at a plateau right now and I know is it due to my lack of knowledge on what real healthy foods are. I love making those packet oatmeal! Didn't realize how much sugar was in them! Gotta get rid of them, ASAP!

    great advice on the eating clean part and also two other good habits would be trying not to eat out as much and start looking at nutrition labels (try to stay away from higher sodium, higher sat fat (more calorie dense), trans fat, and look at the carb/protein to overall total calories).

    I had an eating disorder in my teens. Now in my mid 20s and recovered still I struggle with balance and have a lot of food related anxiety. Mostly I get anxious I will get hungry and not have food. i don’t know what a healthy balanced diet looks like anymore, honestly. I want to eat healthy but don’t want to feel restricted

    I'm not vegan but I do like to eat as many fruits and vegetables every day. I noticed a massive difference in my skin and hair from eating healthy. And you feel so much better, physically and mentally, it's so worth it. 😄

    It is hard to comment because we don't know how you looked before you lost weight but I agree with your approach. I used similar philosophy except the Vegan part; I still eat meat though in smaller quantity. Thanks for sharing.

    I like the idea of getting back to basics because I too know what is healthy to eat, but I do eat salted nuts for example. So I'm really thinking about calories which I have never done and a more even cleaner diet. Thanks for these tips!!

    Love this! Pharmacy school is so hard to keep a healthy diet and exercise consistently so I'm trying to do better. Also I'm Middle Eastern too and when I graduate I'll also be a Dr. Mouna (the u is silent) :)

    Omg I'm 24 now and even tho I do have that lean look, I feel like I got more in my stomach. I do wanna lose 10 pounds but more overall I want to eat healthier, get stronger, and just take better care of my body. Thank you for this video! It definitely helps me with a headstart.

    I totally agree that it’s small changes that make a big difference. I grew up eating pretty healthy because my mom would make meals from scratch and we rarely ate sugar. After I started having kids I had to lose some weight and started making some small changes that were small. Things like swapping brown rice for white rice and taking out pork and most meat from my diet. I found that I really enjoyed running. Gradually I have made more small changes a little at a time that have added up. I have five kids and am in my forties and have a fit body that is the same size I was when I was twenty. The small decisions and changes are the reason.

      Honestly the last 10 pounds are the hardest to lose and keep off... when you are obese, weight comes off rather easily when you start eating right .

    Mona thx for this ! I am in medical school and it’s the same course length as yours ! I find it so hard to fin the time to go to the gym and can only make it 2-3 times a week. I hope changing my perspective in 2019 will help me go more 😂

    What do you think of the oatmeal packs which have no added sugar or flavorings? It is still processed because it is instant oatmeal but the ingredient list just says Oats?

    Your so sweet, I’m in my 50’s I’m the same way I don’t like to go to the gym by myself.
    But yes, I like all your videos very helpful & agree a lot with what make up tips & cleansers, although I can’t afford most. I was Diagnosed with MS years ago and have to watch how I eat. I was making a lot of green smoothie with spinach green apple banana or strawberry with silk regular milk I also tried unsweetened coconut milk. Well thank you 🙏 for your videos I watch on UTUBE 👍

    Hi Dr! Your process was the same as mine. I also went through the same process during the last 2 yrs of medical school. And it felt amazing once I got into the habit of having healthy lifestyle through exercise & diet. I have two questions for you. How did you moderate your diet & exercise during the time you lost excess weight? & Second, how did you make sure you did not loose weight too much in a specific area? Thanks!

      Look into shilajit powder! It's safe to take every day and helps with burning fat. Maca root powder is really good too! :)

      I have been applying this diet *2WeightLossFast. Com* for several weeks now and until now I like them! I have the vitality I need without having controlling my desire for foods without having making me feel jittery. I did nothing special on my diet regime and I still are able to reduced my unwanted weight to 7 pounds. .

    Sometimes I gain weight during the summer (ironically) and skinner in the winter. I'm wondering if there's any science behind this? I want to know if you find certain relationships between diet and the seasons. Thanks!

    What do you think about intermittent fasting?

      Scientifically procen to help weight loss, insulin sensitvity, cardiovascular disease, autophagy, reduce cancer risk, anti aging and other benefits. There are lots of ways to do it. Thomas Delauer has some good videos as does Dr Berg. I personally do a short fast every day by having one meal per day . Some people do well with 2 meals per day (16:8)

      I personally do a 12 or 13 hour fast, no more :) Really long periods of fasting can be detrimental to some female hormone levels, especially if there is already an imbalance. Hopefully we have more research on this in the future! :) For now, it's good to just give your digestion a break.

    ...was by strict calorie counting with a food scale. After regaining those 10lbs, I am now trying to lose them away, this time without calorie counting. It’s not going well. I eat really clean but I think I just eat way too much (whole avocado, lots of raw nuts, etc.) so how are you eating when you are eating clean? How are you controlling your portion sizes? Do you snack throughout the day?

    Yeah I had a lean body after high school and in college. I gain weight not sure how much weight but I had a small gut and my thighs got bigger. Now I’m my late 20’s I been losing weight but mostly in my legs. Hopefully it will be my stomach next lol

    I believe so too. I went from 185.6 to 185.0 and I realized soda was the reason I'm gaining weight. But anyways want a soda once in a while have one.

    I'm also a Persian pharmacist and trying to lose some weight, so I find this very helpful thank you for doing this. I was wondering if you had gone to pharmacy school in Iran or the states, bcz we are doctors in Iran but I thought pharmacists were not doctors in the United States 🤔 can you clarify that point please? It would be very helpful for me.

      Sevil Sj -My brother is a pharmacist in the USA and pharmacists are doctors. Only the technicians who assist in pharmacy’s don’t have to have a doctorate. Hope that answers your question.
