I got some negative feedback about the thumbnails giving too much away. I understand, and I have swapped out the offending one (Portals are staying, as other creators have them prominently in their thumbnails). FYI, there are three thumbnails that get rotated out as UA-cam tests them, so you may or may not have seen the one that revealed too much. I don't care too much about spoilers. The first thing I did in 1.0 was jump into an AGS game and skip to the ending so I could see if there was a cool finale cutscene. But not everyone likes to receive their information like that, so I apologize and hopefully more people will be saved from accidental spoilers. However, while the thumbnail issue may be fixed, don't watch the rest of the video if you care about spoilers. This is a video about SECRETS after all. And you're going to get some secrets!
The cup never being empty might have been the engineer's first application of teleporter technology. One small transmitter fits in the coffee machine. The cup might hold a receive. Engineer does have their priorities straight!
I look forward to playing 1.0. When mods exist to get rid of the things I don't care for, like ore mine purities, and when mods like Refined Power get updated. Because I like using solar and stuff early game rather than biogenerators.
At some point I almost managed to cram all of the iron to motor items into 2 blueprints. Mk 3 would fit the full line incision steel parts. Never ever sneeze at it, just accept that the box slowly gives out everything in return for an input of each raw material.
I've had a feeling teleporters were going to be in this game a long time ago. It just seemed to fit. And even if their wasn't I was going to try my hand at modding a Stargate into the game. But I have no modding experience so who knows. But with there already being a teleporter in the game, making the Stargate should be a lot easier. And if ADA doesn't have a line that the teleporter is a giant super capacitor, I'm going to be very disappointed.
Yeah, the higher 1% lows made a big difference. I'll take stability over a higher frame rate, if I had to only pick one. But I was expecting more raw performance as well, honestly.
Totally overtuned early game in 1.0 are lizzard doggos. They now give really cool stuff. Just been in tier 2 and a doggo brought me 9 turbo engines. Easy 60 coupons to statt with xD
Teleporter seem really good, but i think it will be unused because of hypertube cannon. too much work to get the same result. Or it will become a late game objectif like getting last stage right now.
In regards to performance, I've noticed particularly low framerates around water (in or right next to a lake, I generally get about a 40% reduction in FPS). I play satisfactory in 4K Ultra settings and I havent done thorough settings tinkering to find out which one specifically causes this. My only guess is that the high resolution compounds with an inneficient way the game renders water(?) potentially. I know a lot of the stuff with water is new for 1.0 so I'm sure there will be optimizations in future updates.
Fly Mode is accessible in Advanced Game Settings and is a "cheat". When you load a save, you can enable Advanced Game Settings, and unlock things like fly mode, god mode, and unlocking tiers. Unless you mean items that let you fly, in which case you'll need to work on researching the Jetpack and the Hoverpack. For turning off the HUD, you can enter Photo Mode by pressing P, and then using the onscreen controls to turn off the grid. However, you will have limited interaction and control while in this mode, since it's supposed to be photo mode. You can also change the HUD scale in the settings, but I don't think you can completely remove it.
I generally love building games, the settlement building was my favorite part of Fallout 4 and 76, so this game should be up my alley, but after watching streamers playing it, and numerous youtube vids, i just can't get over how BORING it is! it just seems pointless building these virtual machines to make things that have no use. It gives me the same vibes as those boring empty cookie cutter bases in Starfield. This could be a cool thing if it were integrated INTO a game like Starfield to give it some purpose, like building factories on other planets, and then having human settlers arrive there to maintain the machines. But as it is it just seems tedious and pointless to just make virtual factories that have no npc's or players to interact with them.
Then maybe you missed a crucial point, which is the milestones! You always have a milestone you're working toward. Specifically, the different phases of the Space Elevator, which uses advanced parts. While the game is a sandbox to an extent, everything you do can focus on completing those phases and building those parts. And there are many smaller milestones that grant you new buildings, tools, and abilities. I would say it's no different than any game that says "kill X enemies" or "gather 100 wood" or whatever. The fun of the game is solving the mini-puzzles that appear when you're working on more advanced parts that require materials that are spread across the map. That said, the game can be quite long and I recommend having a UA-cam video or a podcast up while you're playing!
JFC, spoilers video and spoilers in the thumbnail God Damn these UA-cam channels Apparently the only way to stop this crap from showing up on my feed is to click "DON'T RECOMMEND CHANNEL:" FFS.
People these days with the spoling thumbnails all in the name of more views. I understand people want to make a living out of this, but it's honestly VERY annoying that we cant even go on youtube these days without getting everything spoiled in the thumbnails -.- deffinately earns a dislike from me.
Fair enough. Would you rather I do terrible clickbait by blacking out the item and putting a giant question mark on it? It's kind of a lose-lose situation, no one will be happy.
@@SatisfactoryNews Yes that would be much preferable. The game has been out for less than 24 hours atleast give people chance to discover the items. SMH even gotta avoid youtube thumbnails from recommended videos now.
@@SatisfactoryNews Actually yes, that would be much better and much more enticing as a video, you can easily do clickbait without spoiling, all the good content creatos learnt this a long time ago, there is a reason a lot of website like reddit have spoiler tags and so on.
Didn't know about the 6x6 blueprint designer and I would have preferred to not know until I had found it. Instead you had to ruin that for me, youtube recommend the video and showed your thumbnail that you had set ruining this surprise for me. Thanks -.- . At least TotalXclipse got it somewhat right.
Fair enough, Total's thumbnail still has the portal in it though. Not sure how that's better. For what it's worth I have swapped that thumbnail for a less revealing one, now.
@@SatisfactoryNews I didn't know that was a teleporter or that there were teleporters in the game now. Your previous thumbnail clearly showed upgrades to a already established machine in game. Thank you for changing it.
@@aseroxd I was simply stating my preference for wanting a spoiler free game. If commenting on that means that I'm now getting "emotional" are you now getting emotional about my comment? Do you want to romance me (I'm taken, sorry)?

there is a new type of monster in the pink forest. Jace found it accidently while travelling from one factory to another during a stream in twitch
heres a big secret too, i was in the 0.3% of players to reach the final tier and just crash instantly 5 minutes after, it needs a patch
Btw console port was confirmed by the latest trailer. “Coming soon tm”
Yeah, I definitely figured that wouldn't be a secret by the time this came out 😂

There is a Meseeks Box in the Hub, its at the top bed
Ah, I saw that but didn't know what it was, I've never watched Rick and Morty.

But can you ragdoll through a hypertube??? If so, no fall damage on landing would revolutionize hypertube cannons.

Agreed!
No rain anymore either.
That was removed a while ago before 1.0. I hope it comes back!
Given that the launch trailer shows a PS4 controller...I don't think it will be Xbox exclusive ha!
Could have just been a generic model. But it seems like maybe it'll be for both platforms!
Feels like the portal is useless that late in the game
Eh, it definitely beats spending several minutes in a hypertube.

No, Valheim is on PC. I was saying it was only ported to Xbox. (As opposed to also being available on Playstation, Switch, etc)
