For that mercer sphere in the HYPAH Tube room, you could just put a sign behind it with a black background and the mercer sphere image, so when the actual sphere unloads, there's just the image there to sneakily "fake" it
I usually just process SAM into Reanimated SAM right at the node, since the only thing you can do with SAM is use the one recipe to turn it into RSAM and that immediately means you're only having to transport 1/4 of the items.
Additionally I always power shard and sloop reanimated sam right at the node, since that is one constructor for impure, 2 for normal and 4 for pure. The amount of sloops you use is far more efficient than slooping a few manufacturers way down the line to get similar effects
Steel Beam as well. You use 1/3rd less /min of Coal and Iron to get the same amount of Beams you would with the Base recipe just by adding Concrete. Use the Wet Concrete Alternate for even further resource savings. Want 30 Steel Beam /min? With those two Alternates you only need 80/min of Limestone, Iron Ore, and Coal each(plus a splash of Water).
In my world, i put the dimensional depot underneath the double storage. The floor of my storage room is at the top exit level and the bottom level exit goes to the storage. It's efficient and out of the way. Depot is always filled up and i can access the storage when (rarely) needed
Wait until you need to pave an entire biome. One depot for concrete is not enough. I have to supplement mine with concrete in my inventory (and a lot of it.)
@@C_Gu3 Absolutely, I have others for concrete (in addition to the one in my storage room). I also try to concretefy the world as less as possible to enjoy the dev' work so it'll be enough for me
The Bottleneck mod is awesome for seeing what each machine is building. Puts the 3D item that is being made over each machine. Might be helpful for those with complicated factories, like this one.
I would mount that mercer sphere in the middle of the room so that it renders from both halves of the room instead of just one. Or I would try to get the beam from the alien augmenter where the mercer sphere is now, or both. Regardless, that room looks great man.
Also have you considered simply plopping one dimensional storage bin on every personal stage container and use the "personal" storage as a buffer for the dimensional ones? I mean in the end you will want that dimensional stack to fill up first and foremost. And you could consider finding a way to integrate them as decor elements. Take it as a challenge 😊

It's a clean way to wire in everything, and gives you a lot of wiggle. Especially if you're in/outputting to, say, a carousel stack. Certain things don't need to be on that carousel(nitrogen can be piped up the back of a room to get to the blenders for late game construction, caterium and limestone can both be piped up directly through the basement into their respective rooms, same with quartz unless you want to put the constructors for it out by the quartz mine just to save space).
06:30 -I'm doing the same thing since oil production. Everything automated on 1-4 machines from computers & oscillators to super-computers/turbo-motors/fused modulars/cooling systems and I've had more than what I need for now. I did a ton of aluminum production in there but that's about it. Now that I am automating/uploading all of that, I can freely place Mk.3 miners and get my nuclear going easily. Gonna finish my "Pure recipe" ingot facilities and scale up after nuclear is rockin'. I think it's a good strategy, I have most of it in a clean little setup near a massive train station at main base other than the stuff that needs nitrogen.
If you’re going to be making ingot refineries, I suggest using the leeched recipes. It’s only slightly more complicated by incorporating one more resource and refinement step for the acid, but it gives you the most output and resource efficiency.
@@Rwdphotos Hmm, doesn't seem worth it to me. Iron and Copper are common enough that using Sulfur, the rarest resource in the game (excepting Uranium and SAM), for a minor effciency gain seems like a bad trade. The Leached copper recipe is worse resource efficiency than Pure as well. It's maybe worth it for Caterium, but only if you have an excess of Sulfur. If you process 1200 Caterium into ingots using Leached, you get 800/min. Using Pure you get 600/min. But Leached also costs you 666.66 Sulfur. I'm not sure turning 666 Sulfur into 200 Caterium is worth it.
@@jaktracy 200 caterium from 600 is a 33% increase in yield from a single node. Also, it uses sulfur, but far less water, so it helps if you’re not near a giant lake or oceanside. I tapped two sulfur nodes to feed a pure copper, caterium, and two pure iron nodes. I don’t have to worry about ingots ever again. The math for the sulfur actually works out perfectly for caterium and copper too, with exactly two pipes used up. It’s 800 caterium, 2933 copper, and 4800 iron /min with some acid left over on the iron part. One and done all in the same place that feeds everything else. To get the same output via the ‘pure’ recipes would require a lot lot more refineries and water pumps.
@@Rwdphotos I guess I wouldn't be worried about water since if I'm building such a facility, I'll pick a place that has plenty of water to go around. I'll grant that the Leached recipes do have high throughput per machine, so that does help with the factory footprint. Caterium is the best use case for sure. Copper is worse for resource efficiency (pretty slight, though) than pure, but you use almost half as many refineries going with Leached, so that's a decent tradeoff. Iron is slightly higher efficiency, but basically the same amount of space. I still don't think I'd go for it personally. Just not sure I see the value in throwing away one of the rarest resources to get slightly more efficiency out of two of the most common resources. For Caterium, also a rare resource, perhaps. But hey, we all have our own preferences. I will say I never really gave the Leached recipes a second glance, but you do have me at least curious.

It would be cool to make a giant merger/mixer that combines every item in the storage room into one sushi belt that goes into the dimensional storage and have it visible
I have Alternate Recipe for Clips, Silica and Cooperpipes this saves so much time. I have so much Crystal since the update being in in the Grasslands. Also making use of the Geo Termic Energy. Build a Fancy Housing around. Use the left over Power to save my future factory with it.

I use manifolds and at the end I use smart splitters where the over flow goes into a sushi belt that gets organized into my personal storage and what ever doesnt fit overflows into a sink
a good idea that i am doing in my playthrough is connecting the alien power augmenter to a buncha batteries and having the batteries connect to the grid via switch
I like the idea of manual storage crates but the dimensional depot is just so convenient I'd rather have like 3 depot uploaders with 240 item/min each for something I use a lot of
I've never seen someone use the adhered reinforce iron plate recipe. I've used the wire one before and the one that's basically the default but needs more input. It makes sense for where you are in the game, I just think most people automate reinforced iron plate before that recipe is viable.
Changed my new area from the grasslands to the red bamboo forest and building it there. But I am going to have a train with 2 cars for each resource, minus what ever is up on the red bamboo area. I have Alternate Recipe for Clips, Silica and Cooperpipes this saves so much time. I have so much Crystal since the update being in in the Grasslands. Also making use of the Geo Termic Energy. Saved my factory from Coal Node downgrade from RAW to Normal. Build 4 Termal Plants and I have more Power I could use. So I build Power Savers to store 2500MW just in Case. Build a Fancy Housing around. Use the left over Power to save my future factory with it.
This factory is a nightmare for any factorio gamer and pleasure of complexity at the same time
You’re my new feel-good creator, and I’ve been drawing some inspiration for my builds! Keep up the good work!
i love glass floor + ceiling conveyor belt
I want to see how you would play mindustry, you've played factorio and they are extremely similar in terms of gameplay, but mindustry has it's own little style that I'd love to see you try it, of course after you've made some more supa computas.
I use manifolds and at the end I use smart splitters where the over flow goes into a sushi belt that gets organized into my personal storage and what ever doesnt fit overflows into a sink
W man post his video right when I get my food
Your base feels like Aperture Labs, with the small refined sections and then the vast gulfs between those sections.
Kibz, Perhaps one of the larger LCD screens with a Mercer Sphere on it? Might be cool... maybe not
The mercer sphere is beautiful, to be sure 🔮
a good idea that i am doing in my playthrough is connecting the alien power augmenter to a buncha batteries and having the batteries connect to the grid via switch
2 videos and just 1 day between? Thats awesome ♥
I love watching Kibitz while playing Satisfactory myself, but I never get anything done. lol
27:28 gEt oOf tHe sTrEeTs, BEAN !
That sam node needs a feature to hide the miner as the spiral rocks screams for a moument similar to marker from dead space.
you need to call a elevator of belts a beltavator
OMG YOU ALMOST FELL INTO THE VOID.... My heart stopped... "BUILD! BUILD"
These videos are my cocaine. I NEED MOAR!! I.. I uh... I need help.
I like the idea of manual storage crates but the dimensional depot is just so convenient I'd rather have like 3 depot uploaders with 240 item/min each for something I use a lot of
bro you are so invested, i love ur videos
It would be kind of nice if you could make small walkways between the constructors on top.
If i remember right you wanted colorable cables for better organization. Maybe you can give the Mod "Cable Choices Plus" a try.
Thank you for your uniqueness and originality. Your videos are a breath of fresh air.♂️💟💜
Dang that was some juicy progress right here
Back to back vids is awesome
I've never seen someone use the adhered reinforce iron plate recipe. I've used the wire one before and the one that's basically the default but needs more input. It makes sense for where you are in the game, I just think most people automate reinforced iron plate before that recipe is viable.
We eating so good this week boys
Changed my new area from the grasslands to the red bamboo forest and building it there. But I am going to have a train with 2 cars for each resource, minus what ever is up on the red bamboo area. Got started with the train. and foundation.
I took a Mercer Sphere and a Somersloop and place then in the HUBs toilet. Looks like the Sphere is dropping a turd. lol
Hello there
Hypertube room is amazing!
I personally love runniong my infratructure under the floors under glass foundations
another satisfactory video from kibitz within 48 hrs? we’re literally being spoiled
I’m sorry, but going to store prepping food and cooking is one of the highlights of my day. Plus, it means I get more control.
Holy shit it’s impressive how much content you pushing out. Are you your own editor? If so even more insane
Your style reminds me of art deco with the way you use gold and black and gray
i had an idea for the sam ore, bring it down the side of the cliff and have the belts go under the road and bring it up the to storage room
Still one of the BEST youtubers there are. Love your vids dude keep it up
😍
Hey Kibs, did you know you can buld a whole hypertube network with switches and you can use them to navigate to your destination? would be cool to see something like that
Leave the mercer sphere as the quantum object it is. It disappearing and reappearing is completely on-brand for the strange stuff.
One tip for SAM: dont transport it raw, its more efficient to reanimate it and than transport it :) you just need constructer
Kibz has become a satisfactory video factory
"It's a total cacophony of belts!" Me - Looks at my sprawling spaghetti factory.
at 7:09 i think u can also nudge the lifts closer
Awesome work Kibz
damn, 2 videos so quickly! you're spoiling me Kibitz!
You could put a sign with a mercer sphere in place of that sphere so you can see it from across the room
