where did you buy the gear box parts? I have no problem finding the parts kit for the rack but I cannot find seals and berrings for the gearbox on my 2000 honda odyssey.
Just copy and paste: To release the threads for that nut. They use a punch to stake the nut in place so it can't back off. Drilling the stake out allows removal of the nut without destroying the threads. You don't need to drill clear through. Just enough to pierce the case and remove the staked in material. honda-tech.com/forums/tech-misc-15/showa-steering-gear-overhaul-drill-hole-3348835/

Hey ! Why you didn´t use the bech to work more comfortably?
Perfect
This is exactly as a 2000 Honda Civic LX power steering rebuild and parts. Same process.

What's in the bottle?
Baever piss.
Why did you make the hole with the drill?
Likely a roll pin. If so, you'd need install a new one after to secure the cap.

Thanks man!
This is exactly NOT how to rebuild a rack and pinion!!!
Because...?
Because...?
Yeah?
Probably because of the environment. One little piece of dirt or debris, will kill your pump or "wreck it ralph" your rack.
