A bit of PSA: Most people are getting the last line incorrect. It's "those who believe choose the NIGHT" rather than "choose life". The point Brandi's making is that those who struggle choose to endure the struggle and "let the darkness rise" and keep going, rather than "jump towards the light".

This song....it brings me back to the time I listen to Emmylou Harris and Roy Orbison......it also bring me back to my struggling youth.....but the melody also makes me happy because the songs then were magic for me! Thank you for this song! It brings me to my youth and in between! This album remember the pain but also the happiness......and we all need to go back sometimes.....because pain makes the people get empathy for others.....and if there is empathy....there is LOVE. That is what your songs are doing to the world! Spread love!
I don't know about the rest of you but with every new song I'm just more and more impressed! Damn I sure hope they nab at least a few of those Grammy nominations, because they certainly are much-deserved!! Of course I would love to see them get all six though ... fingers crossed. I'm not sure how they go about this determination, but whoever the powers that be are, if their ears and their minds are working right, Brandi Carlile should get seven out of the six Grammys at leasy hahaha
I find myself repeating the last three songs quite often, but Harder to Forgive stands out. This song quickly made into my top ten of your music. Absolutely amazing! Hope to hear it live! Thank You.
