Glad to hear your Jubilee is up and running again! Great story about your amp tech and Jimi! It's a very small world in which we live. Two requests if you don't mind. What's your EQ settings when you've got your Tele plugged into your Jubilee? In the video, I see that you're running JJ power tubes. What are you using for preamp tubes? Thanks.
brilliant story Joey! your amp tech in that photo with Jimi was playing his “Saville” Strat (candy apple red finish) which Jimi painted and smashed 2 weeks before Monterey Pop
Peter Stärk is not only a very experienced amp technician, but also a good musician who still plays live in two bands. He is also a lovely person, I am very happy to have known him for several years now. My amps are in the best hands with him...
Remember to disconnect your power cable whenever you disconnect your amp from the speaker/loadbox. It's a little thing I always do as a kind of failsafe.
Sometimes things happen and you say my country is really small....other times you have to say the world is really small...this video is a case in point! And should influence you to give us some hendrix style jams correct?!! Glad your amp is fine!
