Good vid, I’m sure I can speak for others I cannot find a Mazda 3 build channel... Just picked up a 08 Mazda 3 sedan in mica black... Looking forwards to your channel growing With all the mazda builds.
Brady Huselton no that would be niccee mines got cloth with tiny 15 inch Wheels, I’m looking for a parts car in my area maybe seats and some odds and ends.
What the actual heck, lol. I had some parts in my rear suspension changed because they were too old, and I've felt the rear swaying over bumps ever since. I thought the mechanic was at fault, but it seems like it's just how this suspension setup works.
Cool video, just want to note that you can’t use your phone to measure angle while you are cornering because it uses an accelerometer to detect angle. The lateral G forces will throw off the measurement.
Another awesome video bro! I’m doing the front and rear sway bars in Mazda 3 ( whiteline high performance ) and this helped heeeepppss !! Much love your Aussie bro!
Nice for the advice, my back end was seriously getting on my you know what.. I noticed these Mazda, have an untrusted back end anyway, can flip out, so must try this if I keep my 3 any longer.. Bless
Upvote: This is exactly like my 2008 MS3 that I did this afternoon. Didn't need a breaker bar on anything. Just a palm-heel strike or two. And this was despite 5 years of Connecticut winters. Not true that "everything is 14". The end link nuts were 17 mm. You should have lifted by the lower control arms. Otherwise the sway bar hits the suspension and cannot be fitted in properly.
Do you have a video on the replacement of the front sway bar. I just lowered my Mazda 3 sedan and discovered my front sway bar bolt holes are pretty worn and way bigger then they should be. Gonna try to replace myself if it’s possible.
@@ColtonRichter dang that sounds out of my wheel house. I guess I’ll let that for the garage. How much you think that affects steering and suspension components? I’ve had the car 5 years and replaced almost everything under the front end except cv axles and that front sway bar and things keep failing and need replaced yearly
I know I need to but jeez I'm worried about inspecting under my Mazda, I need to get some jack stands so I can do it safely at my place, I've got a feeling the way I plan to drive I should do this also, but as mentioned earlier I really need to figure out how they've messed with the exhaust system.
I want to start a yt ab my mazda 3 but youve done so many videos on it i feel like i would just be copying :'( but good shit with the content bro helps out a ton
BC Racing Coilovers. Depends what you're after, if you like an OEM ride style then lowering spring is your answer. Coilovers are for a bit more advanced users, some offering adjustable damping but going to a super stiff ride compared to stock setup.
Find some stainless collars as the ones from JBR rust. Mine are nastly after 2 years. Mind you, mine where black oxide, the ones you have there, what material are they?
@@ColtonRichter Sorry, I'm talking about the 2 piece shaft collars that wrap around the sway bar. I do have the aluminum billet mounts and they are ok. I might pick up some stainless collars, I just don't feel like changing the ones on the front sway bar though, ewwww. Oh, if you do the front sway bar, when dropping the sub frame, take the extra 10 minutes to take the bolts out of the steering rack, that will take the stress off the steering shaft and drop the sub frame about 2 more inches, which makes it a piece of cake to take out the old bar and put in the new one. Also, get a 90 degree grease fitting for the drivers side.
Hey mate i know this is an old video . but im struggling to find out if the mazda 3 bk/bl mps rear sway bar will fit into my mazda 3 gen1 bk 2008 could you link the one you used ? if stock rear sway bar thickness is 22mm i want a lot thicker than that to go with my bc v1's coilovers
Man, what a great video. Dude I've been Dying to Change the front Swaybar bushings, any advice? I heard there's a way without removing the whole subframe/Crossmember. :[ Too much clunk
Yeah, could get new one in without complete removal but it's a bitch and it's not that much of an improvement. Do the rear. Lots easier and more effect. New ones were noisier than the old ones.

Thanks you! Hope you enjoy your 3 🙂

I changed front and rear in my BN mazda 3 to Eibach sway bars, and its huge difference. Well worth it !
Agreed :)
When you did the fronts, you had to drop the subframe?
@@kwbalance108 pretty sure they had to
Same suspension as a lot of Fords. I've just installed a 27mm Mazda rear bar on my 2014 C-Max.
Hahaha nice
This is something I'm interested in doing with my 2017 Mazda3. Thanks for the great lighting and camera work as you did the replacement.
Worth it, good luck!

MS3 end links are beefier then the MZ3's resulting in different nut sizes, just so we know.
@@ColtonRichter Good to know. They did look a bit different than yours but I thought it might be a year difference.

Front sway bar have to drop the front subframe.

It won't wear anything down anymore, maybe besides sway bar links which are cheap to replace anyway.

c - WHERE'D YOU GET THE BAR?
Local guy fabbed it for him.
Где купить? Фирма производителя или каталожный номер, если есть заднего стаба?
CarID.com
Where can I get the exact same sway bar?
You can't, it's custom fabbed.
