My father is a music lover. He adores listening to music of his times and used to tell me those were the original and best ( bollywood songs pre 1990s). I will never share this video with him, cause he will be devastated.
I have done research on this topic for a long time since 2014 when UA-camrs use to make videos on this topic some videos are no removed from UA-cam now but I had found that only AR Rahman and Ajay-Atul are only few music directors who doesn’t copy foreign music instead they are inspired by traditional music and make it popular. They have my respect 🫡 (special mention Amit Trivedi only 1-2 songs are inspired by foreign musicians rest he is also a very good music director)
He might get interested in the original versions because they are the better than copies so if your father is good at English, most of these songs will get even more enjoyable for him

I always wondered how Indian songwriters, composers, music makers were so talented because they make like 1500-2000 movies each year with each movies having around 10 songs. Most of the movies had same music composers. It takes insane amount of talent, time and creativity to make that many songs in a year. Now we know how! Our childhood was a lie.
Well, still Raaz, seems to haven't had any copycat, there are also many great songs created by Bollywood, which have been original for real: Kya hua tera wada, Yadoon ki baarat, Mere Sapnon Ke Rani, Awaara Hoon and many many other great songs.

There aren't many songs left which are not copied. The way they go to award functions and grab them😂 ....Some of the original songs are too good!!!
