Acne is no joke... Its the worst especially when everyone is constantly pointing it out... The unsolicited advice is the worst... But Portia M, benzac ac 5 gel , and aqueous cream, a healthy diet. For my skin and it worked the people who were asking me what's wrong with my skin are now asking me what I use for it.

One thing that I've noticed though is that when you use things like azelaic acid, salicylic acid, etc it's advisable to go from a low percentage (5-10%) then slowly up from there so that your skin is adjusted to it and doesn't react/burn😌

I just came across this video and wooow ,This is so so relatable , can't tell you how many strangers have approached me in like clicks and dischem and gave me skin advice ,Embarassing lol.
I've been struggling with acne since 2013 ,Its not as bad at it used to be but Miss acne is still thriving in my life. I've literally tried nearly everything , from expensive products to Cheaper ones ,Nothing. But seeing this gave me hope.

Hi babe. Thank you so much for sharing, just a thing to maybe think about-It’s possible that you are definitely allergic to products with benzoyl peroxide. I’ve struggled with hormonal acne myself and benzac was the first thing prescribe and yep, you guessed it, allergic reaction (swollen eyes and all) and every other product with benzoyl was just the bottom.
So for anyone reading this: Do a small patch test on your wrist and see how you react after a few hours.

I've had acne since 2018 too, and I'd get comments from family like " your face is so ugly today what's wrong" and you it was depressing and still is. but I gained a little confidence & I'm only starting my skin journey with advice from a dermatologist. I'm hoping for the best ❤

I definitely identify with your journey. I've also had acne 3 separate times over 3 years starting in 2018. I burned myself so many times trying products and using products incorrectly. When you said you tried 20% azelaic acid, my mouth dropped. lol. But the 15% works for me and I take spirnolocatane (pills) and they have been getting my skin together. At least it's working for now. We'll see what next year holds with this track record especially because mine is hormonal.

I genuinely felt this video. I'm 20 and I also started having acne in 2018 that would come and go. I would combat it with different products. I cried so much when it came back this year and couldn't go anywhere without make-up. My confidence levels are at their lowest when I break out and I feel like crying anytime anyone points it out. Luckily I found my fighters for this time period and barely feel the need to wear make-up

roaccutane is sooooooooooo good but too many side effect, the dry lips. I later found out i was not using it correctly . but i don't get breakouts, at all! so worthwhile

You used azelaic acid, there's like different brand names can you please tell me the specific one you used and what cream did you apply and how many times were you applying it.
I hate it when people ask what happened,.they have no idea how it feels to have severe outbreaks from nowhere…..this is my life right now just one month my face broke out and I really thought the ordinary was going to stop my acne problems but I just woke up one day after a year and products stopped working…. I've been breaking out so bad I had very clear skin and all of the sudden I'm breaking out started as a rash then went away December 2019 then during lockdown pimples then it went away then now I'm getting big ass bumps which leaves dark spots my bf says it okay but at work I can't even take of my mask as my colleagues give me that disgusting look as I'm getting pimples on my cheeks and jawline it's not a good feeling at all the doctors say its hormonal acne as I just turned 23 it's normal but people without acne always have something to say....just last week I been tough but I broke down in the toilet at my work place no one asks to have acne everyone wants a smooth skin.
Guys like i tried everything people tell me and its burns so bad I realise that's a big mistake as they never suffered from acne.
I was prescribed with doxycycline 100mg to take once daily it's working but I can see a little change as I'm a bit fair skinned I got so much dark marks n they clearing up, girl u ryt they are people with worse cases u just gave me hope and I know one day my skin will get back to normal as it use to it's not the end of the world but I still don't have that confidence yet to remove my mask.....

@@leratomalope6867 yes all my pimples r gone I only got dark marks now they very visible but I dnt mind as long as the pimples r gone and i stopped taking doxy in december I finished it all i just use the demelan face wash and it's deep repair cream which I only use in the evening I think this product is the one that got rid of my pimples within 2 weeks imagine u should try it out the best thing is that it's for sensitive skin too

I've been on acne treatment twice, and my second dermatologist told me because acne is hormonal, I may struggle with it from time to time. I've learned to incorporate products with active ingredients.

@@pulengtshehla8969 I am so sorry hey. I have also tried a lot of products and nothing seems to be working. I have learnt to slowly accept my acne until I can afford to see a dermatologist. Having great support from loved ones has made it a bit easier.
So I suggest you also take it easy on yourself, get rid of the complex skincare routine since it causes high expectations and pressure and stick to simple things that are not harsh to the skin. It might not make drastic changes but I promise you it’ll make it more bearable and help you feel better about yourself.

I cant believe African black soap burnt you coz I only started using it like two weeks ago and now my skin is burnt like burnt burnt I have a scar on my left cheek that I now have to deal with on top of my acne and black spots 💔💔😭
Babe, use tea trea oil (few drops) with a Vitamin E carrier oil (Avocado oil, e.g) for inflammation and scars/ spots.. also you're not supposed to let the soap sit for longer than 5 minutes on your skin, it's a natural exfoliant so vele you'll purge for a bit and then kuphume ubumdaka, the pimples and all. I hope that this helps even though I'm late, goodluck❤️
What's tricky about "natural products" is that you need something to help calm down your skin, this case being the oils that I mentioned
