Update: I was using Nizoral shampoo on my face for a week, then I noticed that my bumps were still there and they improved but at some point it’s like my skin just stoped improving. I looked around and I felt that everyone was getting super quick results , so I started doubting if I really had fungal acne. But then my sister told me that it actually takes 4 weeks for anything you are constantly putting in your skin to really start showing. So I continued nizoral use, but I began to do it 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes at night. And after a month my skin is now okay. I do have big pimples now but I think that’s just my diet and life style telling be to be healthy. However, fungal acne is now under control . All I had to do was up the nizoral usage and wait . I did this every day for a month . I never skipped a day, and now I have good results.
1 year update?! Your skin tone, skin and everything is so close to mine ❤️ i just got the shampoo today so hopefully it will help me get rid of all these crazy bumps!!! I’d love to watch more of your videos!
Hii, so i recently started to treat my FA about a month or so ago! I I'm currently using Nizoral and Dela Cruz sulfur ointment (I use the shampoo at-least 5 days a week and the Ointment everyday-both as masks.) My skin has def improved and i dont have that many active FA bumps. Although, as part of the healing process these products dry out the FA and kind pushes it out of the skin barrier, so the hard texture is normal. I also have a lot of scarring so that will probably take a while to heal. I'm just glad that i have improvements! Also, ladies, dont get discourage if you arent getting as fast results like other people 1. it takes 28 days for skin cell renewal, and 2. everyone has different skin types! I've also had fungal acne for more than 6 months and during these 6 months, Ive probably aggravated my skin with the wrong products! So im assuming it will probably take a while for everything to be clear. Hope this helps a wittle :)
Your skin looks beautiful! Thanks for such an informative video. I washed my face with Head & Shoulders for the first time last night and saw an instant improvement. My bumps have really reduced in size. It's so comforting knowing what is actually wrong with my skin, I'm going to be only using H&S for a while but really needed to know what moisturisers, cleaners etc I can use when I begin adding to my skincare routine. Thanks so much for your video & for giving people feeling down about their skin encouragement that we can get it glowing like yours!
i’ve been using nizoral for 9 days now, and my bumps definitely have gone down. they’re still visible though, like it feels clear when i touch my forehead but the ‘scarring’ is visible. any tips?
So, I just spent a lot of money on new skin care products and now I’m regretting it after watching this video. I didn’t know what fungal acne was until after I bought the products :( I suppose I’m going to stick it out and then try some of these products out. Thanks so much for the suggestions and enlightening me on fungal acne!
Your skin is so beautiful! I'm so happy to hear that your Malasezzia cleared up 😊 I have been going through fungal acne since March 2019 and its finally almost clear (September 2019). There are TEENY-TINY almost non-existent remnants of fungal acne, but its almost clear. I recommend the CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM SPF 30 I switched to this sunscreen when I realized that I have fungal acne, it has been great and has not fed the Malasezzia. 😊 Edit November 2019: I had a relapse despite using Nizoral (1%) every night 😑 ugh idk what to do. Nizoral (1%) doesn't seem to be working or working as well anymore. I'm gonna try the noble pyrithione zinc bar (2%), hopefully that clears me up again
Hey can I know how you realise u have fungal acne? Because I have little bumps on my forehead, cheeks and chin, they will turn into acne which most of the time is under the skin but they are not itchy.
Lesley Menjivar I also have fungal acne and did a little research myself, I’m not entirely sure as I’m no doctor, but I think that any anti-dandruff shampoo that contains the ingredient ketoconazole (I think preferably 2%) will do the job. Klairs supple preparation toner (the unscented one!) is incredible! It has Hyaluronic acid in it and it super hydrating! And is FA safe as far as I’m aware! (According to Skincarisma anyway! :) )
Emma Louise Lavens you should try sezia.co just copy and paste ingredients onto the search panel and it will tell you EXACTLY what is triggering fungal acne, or not, in that product :) it has helped me A LOT!
Random comment about undertones, imo you have olive (yellow-green) undertones similar to my undertones. Most warm foundations are not yellow enough for me too. They either still look pink or they look orange. Struggled to find foundations that match for the longest time until I stumbled on more extensive info about undertones. We all know the basics: cool, neutral, and warm but olive is rarely mentioned. So after realizing I have some green undertones, I started looking for foundation with that in mind and had much better luck. There are also green pigment drops that you can add to foundation to tweak the undertones a bit (definitely use a light hand though - like the slightest drop). Highly suggest you or anyone else that has trouble finding yellow enough foundation to try it out. Hope that helps someone out there~
I’m only 11..and I have fungal acne😭 Everyone is like clean ur face first with ur normal skin care routine, but I don’t have one yet😖😖 but to know that so many other people have this too, makes me feel way more confortable
I'm 16 and I have it. I live in the UK so these products can be expensive. My mum doesn't want me to get a job lol. So instead I do chores and clean around my room and then she gets me whatever skincare products I need as long as I do clean the house. Ask you mum if she can get you these things and in return she will get you skincare products. Also tell her how much it means to you to have clear skin. You can ask you dad as well or if you have siblings, ask them to. From there you can make a skincare routine🤗
I’m so happy my FA is gone!!! It took me two years to figure it out but I’m so happy to say that my skin look so good!!! I focused on treating it internally also which included changing my diet and it helped me out sooooo much 😊😊😊 nizoral was a life changer ! I’m still trying to avoid cosmetics that aren’t FA safe. I’m debating on getting the vanicream cleanser or the simple foaming cleanser.
Sunscreen suggestion! I use SHISEIDO Ultra Sun Protection Cream SPF 50, I've used it for years and literally my skin is so sensitive and burns when I use the watery sunscreens, this one does NOT and is super lightweight and longwearing, it's the best sunscreen for my acne prone and rosacea skin, i cannot reccomend it more, I think it's the best on the market and it's also what they used on the actors in Twilight which is a plus if you're a fan like me :)
I've had this problem for years now😩it flares up from time to time and my diet and gut health is the root cause for me... If I eat any bread even whole meal I break out bad they are on my forehead and chest and sometimes around my jawline. I use safe makeup options that don't feed the yeast and using epiduo and nizoral helps but doesn't completely get rid of the bumps. Sugary foods and even foods containing yeast flare my skin up. I've found my chest is harder to treat than my forehead and it worsens in the hot weather or with any oils on my skin😩. I had my gallbladder removed and since had loads of other digestive issues and that's when the bad skin began! 😀
xoJennifer28 my gut health was the root cause for me as well 😭 after two months of eating clean and using fungal acne safe products my skin is so clear!!! I’m actually staying away from gluten , sugar, and fried foods. There are so many alternatives that taste sooooooo good! I hope it gets better for you!! ❤️
AnotherDaywithBre I'm finding cutting gluten out very hard with it being in so many foods, I have completely cut bread out of my diet...my main trigger is sugar I've had this for a long time now it's so stressful... I've read that yeast and sugar are bad for fungal acne 💜
Girl... you are excatly like me lol I had my gallbladder removed when I was 18 years old. I'm 28 now, I can't eat gluten (getting tested for celiac disease) I cut out dairy, msg, high fructose corn syrup. Just basically going with more natural foods, now I'm taking papaya enzymes and probiotics, which is helping my stomach probelms and has been helping my skin. But my forehead and chin where bad... but now its almost all gone!
Have you looked into the Laura mercier flawless fusion ultra-long wear foundation? It’s supposed to be malassezia safe and I find it to have good coverage and blends very nicely. Thanks for all your hard work in providing a great reference for us FA sufferers!
Love all your advices on malasezzia as I'm also currently suffering from it! However, would appreciate if you could list down the products so I could try em too! xx
Dr. Dray has much better product recommendations for fungal acne! Like in this video she recommends micellar water, which is something most people in skin care wouldn’t recommend, especially for fungal acne. Albolene is an oil cleanser that’s super safe for fungal acne, and products with zinc or sulfur are also really good. Website like sezia.co and folliculitisscout.com are also resources for product recommendations, and checking products you already have that have ingredients you’d want to avoid because they promote the growth of yeast
I know for a fact I have fungal acne, I’m on my 4th day using Nizoral and I don’t see a difference but I’ll be patient and see what happens. Really praying that this works Update: my skin got worst and I have no idea what to do. So I’m just going to cry in a corner until it goes away
You might want to try honey. Its much more gentler. Wash your face like you would regularly, then apply some honey wherever you have fungal acne. Leave it on for 15-30 minutes and then wash it off with warm water and do it everyday. Make sure you use pure honey with no added sugar or it will feed your fungal acne even more. Hope this helps!
You may need to wait for a month for you skin to fully turn over before there is a large visible difference. Also you can see if you are using other skin care products that feed the fungi that has colonized your skin. I would reccomend checking out the blog simplescincarescience he seems to be the fungal acne guru and has comprehensive list of things that trigger the condition as well as a 1400 item list of products that wont aggravate it.
Been suffering for almost a month now. But its fading now. I just post this comment to help. I used Acne Care soap. You can buy it in Watsons for around 149 pesos.
@jskavee The Innisfree Cica Mask with Bija Seed Oil is fungal acne safe! I sure it and love how soft my skin feel the next day. It's supposed to balance, soothe and strengthen the skin's protective barrier. So far I like it!
ever since I watched your video about the bumps, I automatically subscribed!! thankyou for this but can I ask, there are different nizoral bottles, which one should I buy?? does every bottle have the same effect??💛✨
Thank god for Nizoral and Hada Labo! As far as a replacement for The Ordinary’s Niacinamide serum goes, I’ve been keeping my eye on 2sol’s Niacinamide Treatment and Niacinamide Booster as both are fungal acne safe, and have N-Acetyl Glucosamine (an ingredient that helps Niacinamide decrease hyperpigmentation). Also, the Booster has a form of Vitamin C (Vit C helps reduce hyperpigmentation) that’s safe to use with Niacinamide.
jskavee Np! I’ve tried The Ordinary’s Niacinamide and found it to be a little drying (I live in a dry climate), and I think that might be b/c of the level of zinc in it. I forgot to mention Skinlex also makes a super affordable Niacinamide Essence and Serum that afaik is totally fungal acne safe. Both have N-acetyl Glucosamine, but (unlike 2sol’s Booster) neither product has that Vitamin C. Personally, my eyes are on 2sol’s Booster/Treatment b/c shipping from Skinlex to my country is annoyingly expensive and takes ages. If you happen to live in/close to the US, I’d say Skinlex would definitely be the cheapest option. Also, their products are 60ml which is double the size of 2sol and The Ordinary.
You should try the paula’s choice youth extending hydrating fluid! It has spf 50, super light and runny so it spreads and absorbs very quick. Doesn’t have a heavy sunblock oder either. It’s also Malassezia friendly!
Anyone else here get FA after dermaplaning?? I have acne/hair stuck under the skin from my sideburns to my jawline. Sometimes they itch but for the most part they don’t. I too have purchased (acne.org cleanser and treatment) recommended items from simply skincare science. And just started with them today (test spot with the treatment). Should I try the Nizoral instead since the ance.org products are mainly benzoyl peroxide......I’m confused 😐?
I need a bit of help!! So I used a similar alternative to nizoral it’s 2% of the main ingredient nizoral has it it was prescribed by my doctor so I put a bit on my chin area and like near my lip like just underneath and now my skins like REALLY dry and on the sides of my mouth look like I have eczema what should I do cuz I’m getting really worried and scared. Like you said it is a drying treatment but like my forehead is fine it’s just my chin which looks like it has eczema. Am I not moisturising enough.
hi, ive came by this vid and im so glad!! i discovered i had fungal acne today after suffering for two years and my doctor actually told me so many products including the nizoral but she told me to use it once a week for six weeks while showering and i wanted to know if i should follow that or do the layer thing u talked about in both ur vids 💘💘 also im 14 and apparently i dont have the teenage acne thingy ( idk what it is called HAHAH ) according to my doctor so idrk what to do. i hope u reply xx
I hv just started using the nizoral. I use it two times a week. I hv applied it 3 times till now. My forehead is not itchy anymore I still hve the bumps. Last night I ate 8 brownies in the morning my face was itching. Phew its so hard to give up sugar. Also I took 6 rounds of antibiotics it completely destroyed my gut my skin. I m still healing I hve a long way to go. What is your opinion about tea tree oil? Should I use it?
tea tree oil is an effective anti-bacterial product but because it's so strong I would dilute with another oil such as squalane oil. I've personally never used tea tree oil to eliminate FA, so I can't comment if it works to remove FA. :)
@@cacheofjska thank you so much fr replying. I am.using diluted tea tree oil. It helps with my pimples nd scars but I have noticed the small bumps dont go away
drama tea have u ever found the ketoconazole 2% or only thru the dermatologist? I have only seen the 1% that u can buy over the counter (In the USA) but the 2% they said I need to get from my Derm....If you know where to buy the 2% over the Courtney ted and will share below, that would be awesome!!! The 1% is working very well but I’d love to move up now that I’ve seen results and been using for a while 😍 Good luck on your journey to cure this horrific skin issue ❤️🙏🏻
@@kccourt6910 yes I bought the 2% at my local pharmacy....so I've been using it for 4 weeks now and it hasn't gone away...sometimes well most of the time it turns into pimples and I squeeze them bcz I go to school....can that be the problem y it isn't going away.... IM so frustrated bcz everybody is getting better and I'm not.
Thx for sharing! I am suffering from FA now too and it rly rly sucks! I wished I watched this and found out abt FA before listening to the wrong advices from doctors, beauticians and letting them prescribe me creams and pills and try 'extract' my FA which only made the white tiny bumps become BIG RED AND SWOLLEN. One of them also developed in cystic acne. How do u deal w cystic acne? I've been using BP and the Cosrx pimple patch for 2 weeks and it's not helping at all. I heard that cystic acnes are deep down in the skin tissue which is why they dun develop into a head - show how can I get rid of it, 😵
Curious to why you risk using non-fungal acne products? Also, are you sure layering all those acids do not cancel each other out? I have extremley oily skin and I tried stopping using a toner because I still have yet to find a good one in decent price. I have those bumps as well and I am going to start using the shampoo to see if it helps and if i have fungal acne. Been battling with "acne" for almost 13 years!
Hi! Thank you so so much for your videos. They have been so helpful. I wanted to ask about the remission of FA. May 2019 it started, forehead only, I got control of it by July 2019 with the help of your blog. Since then it has been good with consistent use of Nizoral 5 min mask nightly along with other FA safe products. When I take 5 days off from using Nizoral, bumps come mildly back. Do you know why this may be and how to become fully FA free? And how long is it safe to be using Nizoral? I want to get off it. Products that I use: Nizoral Avene foaming cleanser CeraV cream Thank you!
Michelle Coveny I went to sezia.co to check ingredients for your skincare. The Avene foaming cleanser seemed okay, but it looked like there was an ingredient they didn’t recognize so their wasn’t much info on that. The Cerave cream did have glycerin in it, which is highly sensitive in large concentrations to people that suffer from malessezia and it’s the SECOND ingredient. I’d rethink your moisturizer. I also recommend that website to search further skincare ingredients!
Hi Ms Jessica, May I ask if those am & pm routine are the product you use while fungal acne are active way back 6 mos ago? Or you should simplify first the product needs to use when having active fungal acne? Also is it safe to use aloe vera at night when little bumps turn into pimples? Thank you looking forward with the answer!:)
Hello! I recommend cleansing, toning (with something hydrating), moisturizing (CeraVe moisturizing cream) and for AM, always use SPF!! I've made a video about my routine months ago, but I would recommend anyone starting their Nizoral shampoo treatment to use it 1-2/week instead of everyday like what I did. Since it is so drying! check for FA safe products on the website: sezia.co
Okay i will do that, so i will remove niacinamide since my fungal acnes are still active? I did aloevera at night, the raw one. I am not sure if it is working.. small bumps became pimples. So there are tiny little bumps as well as the pimples.. any suggestion for that? And i read about hada labo premium( the gold one) it is FA safe also according to fhe website but i am not sure if it is okay to use since you use the white/blue one.
Hey thanks for the information, I think I’m gonna try it, hopefully this helps for me as well, but I have a question about the shampoo nizoral, does the color of the bottle matter I found one at Walgreens but is blue, I’m trying to find the as yours but not even amazon have the same one, so you think is the same one ? Thanks 😊
Sorry, gotta make another comment b/c I’m super curious re The Ordinary’s Lactic acid 5%. After you’ve applied the Clinique toner, do you apply the lactic acid straight away? Or do you wait a few minutes before applying lactic acid?
@random yes ....do not use head and shoulders shampoo...it has some of the ingredients that trigger fungal acne....if u have fungal acne please read from the website www.skincarescience.com . Read everything so u will know what u can use and what not to.
is ketoconazole shampoo 2% the same thing as the nizoral shampoo? i asked about the nizoral shampoo and my dermatologist prescribed me that and said it’s the same thing so i just wanna know if it’s the same so i can try that or if i should just get the nizoral shampoo from online ?
If anyone wants to see if any of their products is FA/Malasezzia safe you can use Sezia.co they will let you know what ingredients in your product(s) promote Malasezzia.
Hey girl!! just one quick question... During the process of you using nizoral for the fungal acne did you ever experience your skin getting dried up ? I just started using nizoral after watching your videos a week ago and it helped a lot just that I noticed it starts to sting a bit and then it goes really red or inflamed? Also i just noticed this morning it has been getting very dry... what would you recommend I do? Thanks girlyyyy you helped sm hehe 💗💗💗😍😍
YAY! I'm so happy to be of help! I would STOP using Nizoral before you further damage your skin. Work on re-hydrating your skin using FA safe products. Use raw aloe vera gel (if possble) to help repair the skin :)
I got Nizoral and after first washed i got breakout but i still used 1 week and i hve more breakout can someone tell me is it the 1st stage of product work or should i stop plzzz help its been 1 week iam using it
But do you stoped using nizoral? You did use for how long time? I am using for almost 4 months already... got a loooot better but I didn’t clean out everything.
I will be honest that I do not know if a humidifier will trigger FA, but I've heard of humidifiers that have a cold mist instead of warm/hot and I personally would give that a shot if you need to use one :)
Hi! Do you use fungal acne safe blush and bronzer?? Or do you just use any and have no problems with it? I have so much makeup I’m really not willing to just throw away because they aren’t fungal acne safe! What should I do!!
I wish you would list the products. It's difficult to figure out what the products are if I've never heard of it before and you keep it pretty far from the camera.
i watched one of your other videos about fungal acne, and i used the nizoral on my skin for about 3-4 days, and it hasn't done anything at all. Does that it mean i don't have fungal acne or do i need to use it more?
i would say you don't have FA because you should have a significant improvement (~30%) after 2 uses, so i would stop using it before you damage your skin! :)
Update:
I was using Nizoral shampoo on my face for a week, then I noticed that my bumps were still there and they improved but at some point it’s like my skin just stoped improving.

DRAGON FLY did ur skin become super dry throughout the process?
YAY! I'm happy to hear. Don't forget to moisturize as Nizoral is super drying!
Yup I’m dealing with some acne now and dry dry kin lol . Anyone know of a nice and safe hydrating serum?
Just asking, where did you buy nizoral?

Hi, where can i get this?
Penguina Princess you can buy it on amazon
omg yes I can use it for the sun when I travel!! 😔!!!
1 year update?! Your skin tone, skin and everything is so close to mine ❤️ i just got the shampoo today so hopefully it will help me get rid of all these crazy bumps!!! I’d love to watch more of your videos!
I'm planning on it, just in the middle of a hectic semester! ❤️
What helped me so much is fixing my skin barrier (moisturize!!!) with sezia approved products of course.
nivea sun super water gel 80g - spf50 pa is fungal acne safe and it's gentle! it's also white cast free so ppl with darker complexion can use it too!!

Ultra Sun Protection Cream SPF 50, I've used it for years and literally my skin is so sensitive and burns when I use the watery sunscreens, this one does NOT and is super lightweight and longwearing, it's the best sunscreen for my acne prone and rosacea skin, i cannot reccomend it more, I think it's the best on the market and it's also what they used on the actors in Twilight which is a plus if you're a fan like me :)
I love that sunscreen !!! And the niacinamide from the ordinary
Can i use it with aha+bha ?
Your skin looks just fabulous ✨😻❤️
I've read that yeast and sugar are bad for fungal acne 💜
xoJennifer28 yes it can be hard in the beginning 😭
Girl... you are excatly like me lol I had my gallbladder removed when I was 18 years old.
Victoria Engeron you comment reminded me that I need to repurchase my probiotics. That really helped me too!
Really praying that this works
Update: my skin got worst and I have no idea what to do.
New product alert: Farmacy Clean Sweep BHA 2% toner is amazing! no alcohol either. really fights blackheads.
Been suffering for almost a month now. But its fading now. I just post this comment to help. I used Acne Care soap. You can buy it in Watsons for around 149 pesos.
You should try Paula’s Choice 10% Niacinamide Booster! It’s really good..
is this in replace of the ordinary 10% zinc?
@jskavee
The Innisfree Cica Mask with Bija Seed Oil is fungal acne safe! I sure it and love how soft my skin feel the next day. It's supposed to balance, soothe and strengthen the skin's protective barrier. So far I like it!
I am so happy for you ❤️
ever since I watched your video about the bumps, I automatically subscribed!! thankyou for this but can I ask, there are different nizoral bottles, which one should I buy?? does every bottle have the same effect??💛✨
The varying percentages of Nizoral shouldn't be too big of a deal, any kind works :)
I hear a lot of people say that bumps are really itchy was your bumps itchy or anybody in the comments mine aren’t i’m just wondering x
I’m in love with your voice!!!
This is the 2nd day that im using nizoral and im really hoping that it works ;-;
Depresse- Bts Ultra-Mega-Happy how is it going?
@@Above247 its going okay. My sking has cleared up a bit
Nice!! I just started last night. Hoping for some results within a week
@Sy C how ur results? 😊
Some body please tell me if it worsen In the first week bcuz mines gotten worst and I know that I have fungal acne
Thank you!!
Try the Maybelline better skin! Was my fav before I had fungal acne issues abs so happy to find out it’s fungal acne safe
You should try the paula’s choice youth extending hydrating fluid! It has spf 50, super light and runny so it spreads and absorbs very quick. Doesn’t have a heavy sunblock oder either. It’s also Malassezia friendly!
Dr. v was saying that over time Menthol can damage the skin. Alcohol as well. Over time you could harm your skin.
The Urban Decay all nighter concealer is fungal acne safe!
Can you please list the items
I live in Vancouver too! 💜this video seriously helped me a lot thanks doll!
be careful the cerave cream is not fungal acne safe !! The second ingrdient is glycerin
Hello! I recently subscribed. Just wanted to say I love your content! 😊
If I’m not mistaken, Lactic Acid feeds malasezzia
Anonymia what’s that ?
@@tammyyyx1159 that's another word for fungal acne.
she made that disclaimer in the video at 14:53 lol:)
hi, ive came by this vid and im so glad!! i discovered i had fungal acne today after suffering for two years and my doctor actually told me so many products including the nizoral but she told me to use it once a week for six weeks while showering and i wanted to know if i should follow that or do the layer thing u talked about in both ur vids 💘💘 also im 14 and apparently i dont have the teenage acne thingy ( idk what it is called HAHAH ) according to my doctor so idrk what to do. i hope u reply xx
hello! i would definitely follow your doctors advice first :)
in my country, i don’t have nizoral shampoo . sucks to be me :(
tragedy order it in amazon
I'm not finding nizoral where I like but I'm finding the ketoconazole 2% can that still work??
Yes, some countries dont have exactly nizoral, but ketoconazol(which is basically ingredient of nizoral)
@@MrNewYork97 thank you
drama tea have u ever found the ketoconazole 2% or only thru the dermatologist?
I heard that cystic acnes are deep down in the skin tissue which is why they dun develop into a head - show how can I get rid of it, 😵
Love it, and so happy for your progress, do you have a gym skin care routine? (given to sweat)
Thank you so much! I go to the gym in evening so when I'm done with the gym, I head straight to the shower! :)
Products that I use:
Nizoral
Avene foaming cleanser
CeraV cream
Thank you!
Just started using nizoral!! I use acv as a toner and while its helped the angryness I hope with with nizoral I'll be able to finally have clear skin!
Hello!! How its going to your skin? Im going to try the nizoral shampoo if its effective, advance thankyou!!
Does cetaphil moisturizer makes acne worse?
And i read about hada labo premium( the gold one) it is FA safe also according to fhe website but i am not sure if it is okay to use since you use the white/blue one.
ive been using nizoral for two months now and my bumps havent went away :(
have you noticed a difference at all?
Please make a video on how to remove acne scars
You are awesome very thorough, but informative!
Try apple cider vinegar dissolved with water for toner
I would recommend the Clinique Toner 1.0 :) it’s alcohol free
Hey thanks for the information, I think I’m gonna try it, hopefully this helps for me as well, but I have a question about the shampoo nizoral, does the color of the bottle matter I found one at Walgreens but is blue, I’m trying to find the as yours but not even amazon have the same one, so you think is the same one ? Thanks 😊
It's the same product but if you live outside of Canada your bottle will look different! x
Sorry, gotta make another comment b/c I’m super curious re The Ordinary’s Lactic acid 5%. After you’ve applied the Clinique toner, do you apply the lactic acid straight away? Or do you wait a few minutes before applying lactic acid?
I love the DE moisturizer!!
Is there anything else that works for hyperpigmentation. I have the lactic acid also, but I'm scared to use it since it isn't fungal acne safe
Can you use Head & Shoulders? and can any type of Head & Shoulders be used? and how many uses til you see results? hehe sorry for the questions
@random yes ....do not use head and shoulders shampoo...it has some of the ingredients that trigger fungal acne....if u have fungal acne please read from the website www.skincarescience.com .
Read everything so u will know what u can use and what not to.
Random yes you can use head and shoulders but the original version and make sure it’s only the shampoo
You look so pretty here.
is ketoconazole shampoo 2% the same thing as the nizoral shampoo? i asked about the nizoral shampoo and my dermatologist prescribed me that and said it’s the same thing so i just wanna know if it’s the same so i can try that or if i should just get the nizoral shampoo from online ?
Alliyah Ali It’s the same thing.
i was sad to discover that kosy mo ooil cleanser is not FA safe. i really dont want to throw it away!
If anyone wants to see if any of their products is FA/Malasezzia safe you can use Sezia.co they will let you know what ingredients in your product(s) promote Malasezzia.
FYI if you subscribe to Sezia.co they provide monthly products that are Malasezzia safe
Hey girl!! just one quick question...
I ended up moisturising a lot after Nizoral and my skin is actually so clear and smooth😍😍😍😍😍 now it’s just the past scarring !! Thanks smmm honestly
Lia Kataina hi how many weeks did you use the nizoral shampoo?? And how oftern each day?
I got Nizoral and after first washed i got breakout but i still used 1 week and i hve more breakout can someone tell me is it the 1st stage of product work or should i stop plzzz help its been 1 week iam using it
I think you should stop love x
You can try Ra&Gowoori Realkill 9.9 Sunscreen. It's korean product. Very nice!
I used it every night when I started and oh boy, did my skin get dry.
nyacinamide is good for hyperpigmentation!
Try the IsNtree Green Tea Tree Toner! Fungal acne safe 😎🤓
Hi can you do a video on the difference between fungal acne and comedones.
Thanks for this fellow Vancouverite ;)
How come The Ordinary’s lactic acid not be FA safe?
Ive just started using nizoral shampoo today but i feel a burning sensation how can prevent this
If you start to feel it don’t try to fight through it just wash it off it might be because sensitive skin and it can give you a chemical reaction
you should just wash it off and as the other person said, it can cause a chemical reaction & it can leave your skin more dry
But do you stoped using nizoral? You did use for how long time? I am using for almost 4 months already... got a loooot better but I didn’t clean out everything.
Will the sunscreen or moisturizer cause foundation pilling? Thank you
Hi there. Can i check with u if tbe cerave cream come with aluminium layer that we can rip before using it?
Hi can i ask if Nizoral 2 and 1 works the same for fungal acne?? Please reply I rlly need help
Thanks for the video!! May I ask if humidifier is safe for fungal acne?
I will be honest that I do not know if a humidifier will trigger FA, but I've heard of humidifiers that have a cold mist instead of warm/hot and I personally would give that a shot if you need to use one :)
Hi! Do you use fungal acne safe blush and bronzer?? Or do you just use any and have no problems with it?
I have so much makeup I’m really not willing to just throw away because they aren’t fungal acne safe! What should I do!!
I still used them but when I was dealing with fungal acne but I would occasionally wear makeup when I had the fungal issue! x
I wish you would list the products. It's difficult to figure out what the products are if I've never heard of it before and you keep it pretty far from the camera.
is it possible that dry skin type also can suffer this fungal acne?
NUR AMIRAH BASYIRAH BT SHARIFUL IZAM yes
i watched one of your other videos about fungal acne, and i used the nizoral on my skin for about 3-4 days, and it hasn't done anything at all. Does that it mean i don't have fungal acne or do i need to use it more?
i would say you don't have FA because you should have a significant improvement (~30%) after 2 uses, so i would stop using it before you damage your skin! :)
i have FA and i've seen a difference after one week! i guess everybodys skin is different?:)
Kim Pauline do you think i have it or not?
Does it have to be nizoral only
Can I not use any other anti-dandruff shampoo with the same chemicals
Zinc Pyrithione is in head and shoulders shampoo :( but has fragrance
is selsun blue good too?
Apieu soo boo ji sunscreen is fa safe
Also a couple of missha sunscreens are safe too.
What is the difference between fungal acne & Seborrhea Dermatitis?
