  • So I've had a rough journey. I went from having perfect skin which required no time or effort in high school, to having chronic acne/clogged pores at 20 years old. Adult acne, teen acne, clogged pores, and acne scars can be very emotional and take a toll on your confidence. I've been there, and I know a lot of you have been there too, or are there right now so I figured sharing MY experience, what I went through, and how I fixed it, could maybe help you! This video was requested by popular demand so here it is!
    Here is how I cleared my skin, how to deal with clogged pores, and how to clear acne.

    I hate it when people judge people with acne by saying, "wash your face" when in reality, we care about our skin more than those who don't have acne

      Hi to all teenagers who have the problem with acne. I am 22 years old, and since I entered puberty, I suddenly got horrendous acne covering whole face. I tried different skin cleansers and medications but it just didn’t work. I even tried every possible diet but in the end i got some metabolism disorder and I ended up with health problems besides acne. My last hope was to try special treatments and when that failed too, it seemed there is no cure for acne. Then I run across this program. It’s name is:
      *CleanFaceFast . com*
      It was amazing, and what I learned from this site made my skin clean again! After only 6 days I saw acne disappearing and after 60 days my skin was perfectly healthy. All this thanks to program from this site.

    Acne is such a confidence killer and you don't understand it till you've gone through it. So never judge someone for something that seems so little.

      Yes it is, because honestly I've looked in the mirror with hopes that it all just disappeared but when I'm disappointed and it's still there I just feel like breaking down and it seems like nothing works.

    I feel everything she is saying. There's times when the breakouts are so bad and you feel so dissappointed about it you just cry and become so vulnerable you just care about what people think of it. Ance it's not only bumps on your skin, it's anxiety, depression and insecurity

      change your skin products to 100% natural ones. Most brands our toxic and what we put on our skin goes into our bodies and bloodstream. I currently use pure rose water tonic as it is great for acne prone skin and sensitive skin. I use an organic cream called organic Essence with Shea butter, lavender and chamomile. Best cream I've ever used. Has no chemicals and it's made with raw ingredients. Go natural your skin will thank you for it.

      +Laura Miller Using alot of products won't necessarily make your skin better. You need to use 1-4 products tops, otherwise your skin will get confused. Also make sure it's natural products, like i use tea tree oil, because it removes your pimples while treating your skin :)

    I get bullied so much bc of my acne, and ppl don't understand that washing isn't just gonna make it disappear. It's almost like a disease that should be taken seriously just like any other disease. Like you wouldn't make fun of someone with cancer, so why would you with acne.

    • @taliaparr7772

      Same with me! I don't have horrible acne but I do tend to get a lot of white heads and occasional pimples, and people always say "why don't you wash your face more" but I literally wash my face 2 times a day but when you have sensitive skin you can't wash your face 10 times a day

      +imperfectlyEssa Don't worry about that! If they can't accept that you are a perfectly normal person along with the rest of the world, they don't deserve your attention. If you're talking to family and friends, they won't care about your acne because they love you for who you are! Don't let acne lower your self esteem because no matter what, everyone is beautiful. So look people right in the eye and be confident about yourself and your skin, because if your close ones think that you're okay with it, then they will be too.

    • @weloveandlive5682
      @weloveandlive5682 8 років тому +2

      +imperfectlyEssa Don't let other peoples judgment ruin your life or what you view yourself. If you think that people will judge you because of the acne, you portray being self absorbed and worrying about peoples opinions that aren't your love ones. Your love ones will love you and not judge you based on your acne or looks. I have had acne for years, it will clear up and then get worse. I used to be like you in terms of what people will think, but then I realized those people are not people I would want in my life or around me, because your loved ones will love you regardless. I also realized that I was becoming very self absorbed with my looks and that isn't a good thing. Sometimes you have to not care about what others think and be true to yourself.

    I'm so happy for you niki!!!! I hate having acne. When I go out somewhere I feel like people stare at my acne and it's not a good feeling. It's a total self esteem bomb. I have super bad acne on my nose and it won't go away. I've had it for like 3 years and it won't go away. I've tried everything. Now that I've watched this video I'm defiantly using this face wash. I find that people judge people for having acne. It makes me have low self esteem and makes me want to hide in my hoodie. People can sometimes just be mean. It may be or maybe not our fault about our acne and just having people judging you doesn't make ourselves feel any better. We already are aware of it. You know so people actually look super good with acne. One of my best friends have acne and I couldn't the imagine her without it. I think that her acne is very beautiful and so should everyone else. Who cares if we have acne. It's a part of life, that so many people go through, so why judge each other for it.

    I am 12. I know most ppl will think I'm 2 young but I do have acne. It started in about 4th grade. I have tried Neutrogena and proactive and lots of other things but now I do cetaphil face wash from Walgreens and I went to dermatologist and they proscribed a antibiotic which I use and it makes me happy. I also is epidou. This is the age where tween/teens get into the makeup and face products that doesn't help skin. I wear light makeup and my skin gets bad a that "time" in the month.
    I also want to talk about the other bad part of acne. Bullying is a big part. I haven't been thro that myself. Nobody has bullied me or picked on me. Especially when it's the start of the period age and things like that. Acne can bring u down but don't let it. If u r getting bullied, u need to tell bullies that it isn't something u can control. DONT LET ANYONE CHANGE U. U BE WHO U R!!!!!!
    NIKI I SUPPORT U AND UNDERSTAND. U R BEAUTIFUL WITH OR WITHOUT MAKEUP! I love u.

Society has become so focused on beauty and fixing your "flaws" that we've forgotten how to teach people about loving themselves. But Niki I just would like you to know that you are extremely beautiful and extremely brave for coming out to share your story with us and all you real emotions. Most people would pretend to be perfect, I wish people stop taking great people for granted. Much love Niki , xo.

    I ditched actual face wash and started making my own coconut oil and honey masks. Your pores will fucking disappear and your face will feel so so so so soft. Coconut oil has great antibacterial/anti-fungal properties and honey helps lighten dark spots and acne scars. I often add sugar to the mixture to exfoliate. I know it sounds risky but I have very sensitive, acne prone skin and it's the only thing that works for me.

      +Melanie Crossing Yes, for the most part I have oily skin but whenever I do this, it just stays smooth for hours and has no oil build up. I also stopped using toner because I realized that it did literally nothing. I found out that one major reason skin produces so much oil is because you're using a product that's too harsh. Try to find out which product that is a throw it out homie

    The most important thing to remember is that acne should be treated MOSTLY from the inside. No matter how many treatments you make, how many masks etc, if you keep eating pizza, drinking sodas, pepsi etc, your skin will not look good, and I wish young people would understand that more. Dairy is so bad for your skin, and so is fast food, processed food etc. I am sure that if we all lived a healthier life, no one would ever get acne past their 20's.

      +alisha33x okay so basically I'll start off with my morning to night routine I do every day
      Morning: I wash my face with this African black soap bar from Shea moisture (sold at cvs, target, Walgreens, etc.) then I spray some of my Mario badescu facial spray with aloe, herbs, & rose water on my face as a moisturizer because that works best for me in the morning
      Night: I use the Murad clarifying cleanser along with the Murad acne clearing solution. Then I have this bottle of tea tree and water mixed that I spray all over my face until it is pretty wet. And if I have a bad pimple I apply the Mario badescu drying lotion to calm it and tame it.
      I also ice any huge acne marks at night so they are reduced in the morning
      Masks I use: Mario badescu super collagen mask
      And the Shea moisture African black soap mask
      I like to use tea tree because it fights against bacteria! Spray it on your pillow at night to refresh them!

    • @cheyennerumsley
      @cheyennerumsley 7 років тому

      Itzlesliem I went through the same thing in 8th grade, I couldn't hide it with makeup but I wanted to. Then when I could hide it with makeup, it just got worse. I'm now 20 and have been battling acne for about 8 years. Losing the makeup was the first thing that helped clear my skin, but there was one thing that I didn't do that has now cleared it almost completely and that's drink lots of water. I wish I had have drunk more of it when I was your age because that (and eating a little healthier) are the only two things that have cleared my acne! I drink 3L of water a day and have done for the past two years and my skin is so much clearer, I don't even need to use any products to clean it or moisturize it at all anymore because of the amount of water I'm drinking daily!! Nor do I need makeup anymore either!! One other thing that helped so much was not touching my face at all, that helps a lot as there's so much bacteria on your hands. :)

    • @cheyennerumsley
      @cheyennerumsley 7 років тому +3

      Itzlesliem if you drink about 3L of water a day, wash your face in the morning and at night with just water, and use aloe vera (optional but it's known as the miracle plant and was a major factor in clearing my skin) your skin will clear up within a week or two. Aloe vera is INCREDIBLE for your skin, and the plant is really cheap to buy too (it's about $2-$6 US dollars. But maybe you have it growing at home). And if you consider getting it, don't get the store bought stuff, it has to be from the plant so it's 100% natural and works faster and better but I HIGHLY recommend it. Aloe vera heals burns, fades acne scars, clears your skin, reduces redness and inflammation, moisturizes, cleanses and tones the skin, repairs damaged skin cells, is great for your insides too and is so good for healthy gums and teeth (tastes gross though). To use it you just cut the leaf in half and rub the gel on your face, I do it in the morning after I've washed my face with water and then Ieave it on all day. Once it completely dries though, I wash my hands and make sure they're clean and then I'll just gently massage my face so it doesn't dry (some people experience the feeling of having dry skin after applying aloe vera, others don't, but if you massage your face afterwards or even gently go over it with a dry and clean washcloth or towel, that feeling will go away). But honestly aloe vera is soooo so good!! I've thrown out every single one of my cleansers, toners and moisturizers because aloe vera is a natural 3 in one literal miracle plant! Plus the water is a huge help as it flushes out toxins in the body and hydrates the skin! 😁

    i dont know why people act like dermatologists and like they know everything. "do this" "buy this" "have you tried washing your skin?" "stop being lazy and try" ...seriously? not everyone is the same. Who are you to judge and bully someone? Acne messes with you psychology and it is scary and sad. I have had bad acne for 8 years and nothing works and makes it go away. People always try to force me on new products, but I HAVE VERY SENSITIVE DRK SKIN, nothing works! Changing my diet helped some, but acne is also genetic. Stop acting like yall know everything and stop bullying and body shaming.

    "My skin made me not like who I was" that hits way too close to home. That was when I was at my lowest point. I truly believed I was too ugly to be loved, liked, or even tolerated. I couldn't look in a mirror if I wasn't wearing makeup without bursting into tears. I was scared of my own reflection and I let acne dictate what I could and couldn't do. I'm glad I'm out of that dark part of my life but I wish I could've pulled myself out of it sooner. People who struggle with acne struggle with so much more than a skin condition, they struggle with self-esteem and self-love. To all the people out there fighting acne, keep on keeping on, you're inspirations.

    I always felt like I was being judged so hard for acne and I think people thought I just didn't care for my face but I DO. I got it earlier than everyone else and it was hard for me to have confidence. I don't like wearing makeup but I felt like I needed it. It got really bad since the end of last year and my #1 recommendation is
    If you can afford it, SEE A DERMATOLOGIST.
    I went and my derm told me things I never knew about my skin. He gave me a routine and some prescriptions I've been using and I have almost no acne anymore, just dark marks (but there's not really anything you can do about those, unfortunately. They take a while to go away and until then I'll still be using concealer). Overall, dermatologists are the experts and they can and WILL help you. I definitely recommend seeing one if you can. My self esteem is so much higher than before. :)

    • @rhiannon2316
      @rhiannon2316 8 років тому +1

      Also: you need to remember that everyone's skin is different so don't necessarily spend a lot of money on the products she uses. Some peoples skin is a lot more sensitive or reacts differently to things like benzoyl peroxide so if you can't see a derm try out different methods (REMEMBER TO TAKE PROGRESS PICS EVERY WEEK OR SO) and see what works for you

    Girls remember that with acne a lot of it comes because of what you are eating. What you put in your body is going to reflect on the outside. So eat more fruits and veggies and get rid of the dairy and oils (too much saturated fat). You will see results if you do this you just have to be patient!

      isabel almaraz Hey sweetie, this message is a year old but I hope you are feeling better and more comfortable with your skin. I'm 27 now but in high school everyone would point out how gross my skin was. Take care to drink lots of water (I love water in my 20s; buy a 2L water bottle and bring it everywhere) and try to use as natural cleaning products as possible, and not more than 2 X a day. I also discovered using rosemary oil (similar to tea tree), it has a antibacterial effect and is pretty strong as an essence. A drop on problematic pimples and they disappear the next day. Be sure to avoid the eyes.

I have oily, sensitive skin just like Niki. Acne is such a confidence killer. Just remember you are all beautiful just the way you are

    Hi Nikki! I'm so happy you found a way to fix your acne. I have been struggling with acne for the last two years and it has brought my self assume down so much. I feel that people don't look at me they look at the bumps on my face. I have tried so many different things and nothing seems to work but it's hard when you don't have the money to buy high end makeup and face products that could potentially help my skin. I know it's normal for girls my age to have acne but when I look at my other friends it's a let down cause my skin has never looked like there's. I hope one day my skin can be flawless like yours again.

    If you add essential oils to your skin it makes you skin think that it is producing to much oil. Making it produce less so then your skin will be less oily.

      Jodie Cuyos I have sensitive skin, so if I stray from a routine my skin breaks out really bad. Try sticking to a routine and using products that are for your skin type. For me it was a lot of trial and error.

    It's a food intolerance. My mum had exactly the same areas affected with acne like you. But she is in her early 60s. She suffered over 2-3 years and did a lot but nothing helped. I convinced her (she was vegan already) to cut out all fats, wheat, gluten and soy products, nuts, nut milks, and all processed foods. Her acne cleared up within a week. She is now eating brown rice, lots of veggies (fresh, cooked, roasted without oil), potatoes, sweet potatoes beans and lentils and fruits. Additionally to get rid of her acne she also lost a lot of weight. We think that she did react mainly to wheat/gluten. But to find out what food you are intolerant just check out the Dr. McDougall elimination diet.

      Good info but you must never cut out all fats ! We need fats for hormone regulation. If you eat no fat, your body will shut down.

      +iCookie Lover I just used the clean and clear night wash thing. Its in the blue bottle. I love that stuff for oily skin. Because it help dry up the oil but if you have dry skin somewhere dont use it there because it will make it dry and peel. 😖 it does a good job and i use it all the time.

Thank you so so so much Niki for your vid, that was so me, that was so touching and emotional. What a great experience, love and will always support you!
