Due in August 2020!! Shout out to all my Covid-19 preggo sisters ❤❤❤❤ Edit: Wow!!! Its so cool to see the reaction on this comment - CONGRATULATIONS ALL MAMAS!! today is my due date, something tells me she's not coming out today LoL, time to rewatch this video 😉 Edit (again): scheduled to be induced on Wednesday the 12th... I'm gonna try to get her out the natural way until then 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🥰 Edit: success - baby born at 8:09p 08/12/20 weighing 8.10lbs, and 20in long 💗💗💗 all natural, no epidural or drugs, just pitocin to be induced, the yoga ball is soooo helpful use it!!!
I know this is an older video, but I’m 37 weeks and have had horrible hip pain for 6 weeks or more. I did the booty up position and felt baby move and I have so much relief now!! Thanks so much!!! It has changed everything for me. I can actually walk upright now!!
I watched this video and did all of the rocking, tilting, ball movements and went into labour within 12 hours! It all made perfect sense! I was 8 days overdue and on the road to induction so glad I escaped that! Thank you so much!!
I'm glad to hear this and find this comment! This little girl has now surpassed all 3 of her predicted due dates, today (08/21) being the last and NOTHING Lol, got my ball today and been bouncing all evening lol. To think we thought she'd come at the end of July, and the second due date on my fiance's bday (8/14) 😂 looks like we're getting a little Virgo instead 🤣
Had my baby two days ago, found movement really helpful for progressing labour. I was almost 12 hours into early labour, having 1 min contractions about 2 min apart for almost that whole time, and felt like things had started to stall and baby might need help to slip better into the pelvis. I tried the abdominal lift and tuck through 10 contractions (against the wall, while doing hip circles), then did the Three Balances from Spinning Babies (the jiggle between contractions, forward leaning inversions and side lying release through three contractions each). Literally a minute or two after getting up from the side lying release my waters broke. Things went quickly from there and I had my baby less than 4 hours later ♥ A challenging and intense but medication free and incredibly positive birth experience!
Currently 9 months pregnant & this was super helpful! & I LOVE your energy lol everyone else is so monotone & matter of fact I love this you are so refreshing & bring light hearted energy to a kinda scary topic as a first time momma
Shoutout to all the fathers to be doing there research for there ladies so they have a pleasant pregnancy and swift labour. Mine and my girlfriends first baby due around October 2020 Update: he’s nearly 2 now and wow wow terrible 2’s is a real thing hahaha
Let me just say this😂 I am 39 weeks and wow I've been watching birthing videos on and off, but yours was the most enjoyable 😭🔥 whilst being educational. I've been concerned about how I sit and explaining why we need to sit upright honestly helped.
This video made me cry. If I saw this before delivering, I would have saved myself from a c-section. 48 hours of labor, 24 nurses and 5 doctors - AND NO ONE SUGGESTED THIS. I’m ... beyond words. Thank you for the video. I will share.
Just know that in less common cases, there is a reason for baby not descending that can't be helped by movement, such as a short umbilical cord. Do the best you can with the knowledge you have at the time and be at peace over things you didn't know.
This is my 2nd pregnancy and I'm praying for a vbac. I had an emergency C-section because midwife accidentally broke my water at only 37 weeks. I just want to say this video is BY FAR the most informative I truly feel like I took a class. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this for us!
My Doula recommended a Chiropractor....I couldn't believe no one else haven't suggested that before in prior pregnancies. It has transformed my pregnancy journey !!
September 2020 baby here...and nearing the "I want my body back" stage already. I really miss sleeping on my belly. Thanks for the tips! Good luck ladies!
Sept 15th. I'm praying I make it all the way! Most moms want it over. Too many early labors, 4 in a row, make me want to go through that finish line!!!
I remember I had to be my sister's police and watch her to not sleep on her belly while pregnant lol. But as the months went on she God used to it. Now I worry when it's my turn. I always sleep on my stomach to fall asleep.🙈
My lovely is currently 36 weeks and im all set as the Birth partner (cant wait) ! I'm having so much fun learning and putting together Birth Ball and active labor plans. This video is very good, thanks for the tips Sarah ! Good luck Mumma's !
This video helped me go into labor the day I watched it! I had been having strong contractions for 3 weeks off and on. I felt the baby was low, but not really in a good birth position. I borrowed an exercise ball and within 30 mins, my contractions got slightly stronger. Tried the decline position and they got even stronger, decided labor was for real after these strong contractions and 2 hrs later baby was born! If I had stayed pregnant much longer, I probably would have complications due to his size. He was 10lbs 2oz 15.5” head and accomplished birth with no pain meds. Update: I forgot to add in that I also had a few double contractions after they started getting stronger! I don’t remember if it was this video or another of yours that told what that meant, but that confirmed that baby wasn’t positioned correctly. So then I decided to try the declined position.
o wow this is encouraging!!. I just got a ball.bait feels like baby is sitting on my bone, so definitely trying the " butt in the air" position. 4th child and 36 weeks
Laima Mockus Córdoba No, it’s my 4th. My first was induced and a long labor. The for the next 2, my water broke at the start of labor and were also very quick labors. All of them were considered “big” babies at birth, but this bub holds the record!
August 2020 mama here.. 1st time mom and COVID has me sooooo over it- I’m ready to push him out!!! 😓 shoutout to all my brave mamas we need an extra medal for pandemic pregnancy!!
Really good tips! I will definitely try to walk more and walk on my posture. I am due May 2nd not stressing baby will come when God says its time🤗 Have peace everyone all will be well. Hoping for a safe labor and delivery for all moms!
I been feeling my baby’s head move a lot where my pelvic area is and even his fingers wiggling around lol I hope he comes on his own I’m 39weeks today😌
Sarah, I'm a first time mom. My babys 10 months now through Gods grace. I was in labor for 23 hours because my baby had not dropped even though my water broke and i was ruptured for a good 20 hours. At 8 cm dilated and i believe 100% effaced, my OB and I decided to give the epidural a try to see if my body relaxed and baby came down. Thank God it worked because I would have gotten a C-section otherwise. Just thought I'd share my experience with all you ladies who are just as nervous as I was about getting an epi.
I'm due in October as well. I'm having a boy. Its my 1st child. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little nervous. Praying for a great delivery for all of the expecting mothers🤰🙏
I am due in 10 weeks with a big baby and praying for a natural, fear free delivery. I dont want any pressure from nurses to push, but rather go with the surges of my own body.
Found your channel yesterday. I'm due in Feb 2020 with my second baby. My first labor was such a traumatic experience. Your videos have helped me feel way more confident
@@Rooskwa I was 38 weeks and experiencing contractions. I only dilated to 3 cm and contractions stopped. My OB was out of town so I ended with a doctor who basically did the opposite of everything I wanted. She decided to break my water and gave me and emergency c section. When they removed my son he inhaled amniotic fluid and ended up in NICU for a week. It was just a nightmare. Super disorganized, no one could give me a straight answer when I asked questions.
@@brie4623 so sorry to hear, hopefully you are all doing good now. Were you told a reason to break your water at 38 weeks? Seems early. I'm also due Feb 2020, hoping the best for you.
@@Rooskwa They never gave me a clear answer as to why my water was broken. They said it would help my dilate further. But the c section was due to the contractions being so severe that my sons life was in danger of his little head being squeezed and that causes brain damage. Thank you. My son is happy and healthy now. And my new OB is the best. She's 100% transparent.
I'm due September 4th! I wish all the Mamas out there a safe delivery and a beautiful birth 🌸☀️ we’re going to have beautiful Virgo and Libra babies! ❤️
I was at 7cm stalled off and on for 12!!!hrs WITH pitocin and no epidural. A nurse suggested we do some floor exercises and getting on the ball. I 100% credit her with getting labor going and helping me avoid a csection (my water was broken for 22 hrs when I finally started pushing). I was surprised when she said most her clients weren't willing to try this stuff so she didn't get to use it that often.
I'm due Sept 4th and I'm already 4cm since yesterday (not even sure if it only started yesterday ... Monday, since I had check up with OBGYN) waiting for active labor so I can go to hospital. I dont have continuous contractions but I have occasional pain.. I wish to give birth soon so I dont think too much anymore.
Love your energy! I’m 38 weeks pregnant and once my labor starts I’ll be sure to reference back to this video but for now I’ve been going to the Chiro a couple times a week and it’s really helping! I’m going to start more stretching and yoga to prepare for labor 😉
My babe was sunnyside up for like 5 hours of back labor and I did the childs pose with the booty up and very quickly she flipped and pushing started and she was out VERY QUUCKLY!! It's great advise, especially because it seems counter intuitive!!
I was here April 2021! Here I am again April 2024! 😅 Edited: I was experiencing zero pain with decently regular contractions but went in anyway. I was 6 cm! My water broke a few hours later and immediately I felt everything! I pushed for about 12 minutes and she was out! These definitely helped!
You are so bubbly. You make this labor thing seem so easy. This is my first baby and don't know what to expect. My last visit at the gynae I was informed my baby hasn't engaged and I'm at 38 weeks 😭. was kinda scared actually. I'm no longer scared...you gave me helpful tips. thank you so much dear
Hey mamas! I'm a July 2020 mama myself, due in 6 days with a VBAC. Wishing you all a speedy and safe delivery filled with positivity 🙏🙌 My first baby and C-section was 7 years ago and I'm pretty nervous. haha! Last labour was 40 hours, only recently found out it was failure to progress due to baby being OP, back to back, and water breaking BEFORE I even has a single contraction. Since then, I've heard this happening to other mamas but was never encouraged to move at all through labour - just wish I'd know then what I know now! Although, saying that, I've been told for a few weeks baby is head down and entered 40 weeks yesterday with baby still high... and have been living on my birth ball, cleaning the house and walking through woodland and.... nothing. haha! Just binging these videos whilst bouncing away on the ball and really hope you're all having better luck so far 😘❤️❤️
So glad you recommend chiropractic during pregnancy. I had so many people tell me that it was normal to have hip pain while you were pregnant. I didn't want to trouble anyone and just bore with horrible hip pain. I didn't realize my hips were tilted backwards and it made my baby get stuck at the end of my labor. Head out shoulders stuck. Birth assistant had to basically body slam my stomach to get the baby out.
I’m due in May! And I’m freaking out about this Virus! I pray it goes away before my baby arrives 🙏🏽 But I loved this video! Thank you for the tips! I’ll do all these you just mentioned. Thank you 😊
Man I don’t miss being pregnant lol my third was putting a ton of pressure on my pelvis and rocked and rocked and rocked and Christmas Eve at exactly 39 weeks he came out. He’s almost a year old
I love that you talked about the nails, a new intern asked to check if I was dilated before the doctor did and his nails were SHARP. I told him REAL quick he needed to cut his nails!!
I was only trying to engage baby though… wasn’t trying to make him come early 😂❤️. I love that he came when he did tho. He was my 3rd baby. I have 4 now… had a baby girl the same amount of weeks as him. Had her completely natural 😌😅… if I have more after her I want them without meds and at home! Hospitals charge for everything and for things that could be free at home 🥺😘🙌🏾
First time I tried moving my hips around in a circle on the birthing ball after watching this video my whole spine from my neck down cracked 😅 felt amazing!
Where have you been all my pregnancy 40 weeks 3 days. This video was so helpful and your enegry, positive vibe and smile was so reassuring. God bless you. Xx
I’m due on the 31st but this is my 3rd pregnancy and my first two came early. My doctor told me today that if I could get baby to drop, she’s confident he’ll come on out quickly. I’m so ready to have my son in my arms!
Due May 25th! 36 weeks pregnant. Dr cannot tell which way the baby is facing. I feel pressure on my pelvis but I still got a month to go. I pray for a healthy, safe delivery!
This helps so much. I fractured my pelvis in four different places about two years ago in a car wreck and I'm 31 weeks preggo and in soooooo much pain. So thank you so much for these tips!
Anyone due May 2021 ? ❤️.... going through my second pregnancy but with single baby this time , first labour was a multiple birth for 2 hours completely natural. Hoping this labour will be this short again. 🙏🏾
Who is due in August 2021? I’m with my first baby and the video was very informative. No such thing as too much knowledge cause childbirth is and can be difficult for mom and baby
This lady should do like an audio hypno-birting/positive affirmations video. Her voice is so positive and bubbly and encouraging and motivating! I'm due in May and I would like her in my labour room please!
That is possible? Because i totally felt like the baby had dropped before i even knew that dropping was something and i think it was too soon, it really hurt my pelvis, i could barely move and i had some spotting. So my husband massaged my body, and somehow it became better but now the baby is not dropping 😭😭😭
Same I wish to have VBAC...38 weeks and 3 days and doctor has scheduled c section for 3/27 (3 days before my due date) I don't want a c section😥😢😭 but she brings it up saying my cervix isn't softening or opening at all... I'm praying for a change before that day comes.
@@problolance8134 you can do it. My cervix was closed till 40.i did not go to my appointments. Just kept a check on movements from a local clinic. Once I knew my Dr is a bait and switch, meaning she told me she'll wait and let me have a TOLAC etc, she made my cervix an issue and wanted to schedule a csec. The cervix does its work naturally. It remains closed to protect the baby until the baby is ready to come out. I went against everyone, had the support of my husband as he believed we could. So we did wait till nearly 42 weeks and let my body labor at home mostly and later headed to the hospital and had a successful vbac refusing all interventions. Believe. Stay strong. Cervix is not a valid reason. You can. You will.
@@problolance8134 no one has the right to limit your pregnancy. A serious health issue which makes it impossible for you to deliver naturally is a valid reason. Cervix is not. I hated that people wanted me to deliver on the due date. Or 3 days later. Or before the date. Especially a skilled Dr. Later when I walked in labor, I was asked which Dr I was consulting and I was honest that due to lack of support, I don't want my old Dr. They had me labor without any Dr or nurse. Gladly, a doula friend came by to help and I was already around 8 cm by then, on my own. The on duty drs came in to just scare me that I'll have a dead baby or I'll not be able to make it. I'm high risk due to a history of csec.. Etc etc. Know what you are doing. Don't let anyone effect you. I did it. You can too.
@@mahwishilyas779 thank you for the encouragement. They tell you not to stress in pregnancy, but be the ones causing the stress. 😥 I've been praying cause this is the OBGYN I picked when looking prior to pregnancy and she said I was at the age where I only had 6 months left because I was turning 36 if I wanted more kids... and bam I got pregnant after 14 years at the time my only son was. I felt like God wanted to use me to show her something. My prayer is that He will do it again to show her who really has the final say. For every "no, that may not be possible" I want Him to use me to show with Him all things are possible. Thank you again!
Thank you for this video. I’m due in 3 days. Saw my midwife a week ago and she was surprised that my babies head isn’t in my pelvis yet. She since made me now overthink. I know my baby is head down and will engage in my pelvis eventually. Im doping exercises to aid the head engagement but won’t stress about it too much. Thank you for reassuring me that if I’m not in labour the head engagement doesn’t really matter yet.
Just the video I needed! 38 weeks here. Had my previous 2 at 38 weeks exactly but 11 and 7 years ago 😭 house is nested, bag is ready, nothing left to do with my life but wait 😂
39 weeks and attempting a VBAC. My ob told me that if baby doesn’t engage into my pelvis soon I probably won’t have a successful VBAC. I spoke to my doula and she told me exactly what you said in this video. It doesn’t matter until labor and don’t stress. 💕 I’m doing the stretching, walking and birth ball exercises so hopefully it all works out!
@@nthabisengmokoena5473 unfortunately my VBAC wasn’t successful. I did go into labor naturally and was 4cm dilated when my baby’s heartbeat dropped so I had to have an emergency C-section. I would’ve definitely had a successful VBAC if my baby didn’t go into distress, but in the end the most important thing is we have a healthy baby.
I'm due this month March 2021. As you've said, baby knows how to come out. I've being doing birthing ball exercises everyday plus walking hoping to bring and engage the baby in my pelvic. I'm 38 weeks and I hope I can induce labor naturally 🙏
22 weeks with first child and Im going completely natural at a birthing center. Im due April 2020. Im doing so mich research and this was awesome. Thank you for the informative but entertaining information❣🙏🏽👶🏽

Who’s due early October 2020? ❤️
Meee! Congrats sis, wishing you a safe and speedy pregnancy and delivery for mommy and 👶. It's my first baby. You know what you're having?
Me 👋🏼
I'm due in October as well. I'm having a boy. Its my 1st child. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little nervous. Praying for a great delivery for all of the expecting mothers🤰🙏
I am due in October 2020 as well. Congrats to u all
The 16th 🧡
I am due in 10 weeks with a big baby and praying for a natural, fear free delivery. I dont want any pressure from nurses to push, but rather go with the surges of my own body.
Sounds like water home birth would be perfect for you!
Found your channel yesterday. I'm due in Feb 2020 with my second baby. My first labor was such a traumatic experience. Your videos have helped me feel way more confident
If I have no time to wait more, then c section will b done
Why was your first traumatic?

Most birth coaches/information videos are so irritating! Love your energy and way you present
Sarah’s fake pelvis is like her favorite demonstration tool 😂😂 “let me get my pelvis” ❤️❤️
If anyone else said this, it would be beyond weird. 😂
Anyone due next week???
I’m gonna be a first time mom and I can’t wait to have my baby girl here earth-side! 🤩😍

Currently in the hospital with nothing to do 😂 I gave birth to my baby girl today at 5:38AM! 🥰 Smoothest birth ever!

Due December 2020! Praying everyone has a healthy and seamless delivery. First time mom so super excited and nervous 🥰💕
I'm due in 3 weeks. But I need this child out now 😩 I just got my yoga ball and I love it. I'm hopeful this will help
Currently 36 weeks! Attempting vbac and so ready to get this baby out 🙏🏽👏🏼💯
I was here April 2021! Here I am again April 2024! 😅
Edited: I was experiencing zero pain with decently regular contractions but went in anyway. I was 6 cm! My water broke a few hours later and immediately I felt everything! I pushed for about 12 minutes and she was out! These definitely helped!
How cool! My last babe was born Dec 2020 and my next is due May 2024. ❤

@@pragyasenger4137 hi there, the baby did engage but it was a C-section .All went well dear . 💕
@@mirandanyakudya5388That's so nice to hear 😊❤
Hey mamas!
I'm a July 2020 mama myself, due in 6 days with a VBAC. Wishing you all a speedy and safe delivery filled with positivity 🙏🙌
My first baby and C-section was 7 years ago and I'm pretty nervous. haha!
Last labour was 40 hours, only recently found out it was failure to progress due to baby being OP, back to back, and water breaking BEFORE I even has a single contraction.
Since then, I've heard this happening to other mamas but was never encouraged to move at all through labour - just wish I'd know then what I know now!
Although, saying that, I've been told for a few weeks baby is head down and entered 40 weeks yesterday with baby still high... and have been living on my birth ball, cleaning the house and walking through woodland and.... nothing. haha!
Just binging these videos whilst bouncing away on the ball and really hope you're all having better luck so far 😘❤️❤️
hey did you have a vbac?
How was ur experience this time? I'm also in same condition as like urs. Wishing for VBAC. 🤞
39weeks +5days.. pray for me a smooth delivery soon! I cant wait to meet her

Thank you 😊

I love that you talked about the nails, a new intern asked to check if I was dilated before the doctor did and his nails were SHARP. I told him REAL quick he needed to cut his nails!!
Watched this last year. I did what the video said to do & went into labor the next day 😂😂 had my son 2 days after watching it… he came at 37&5 🥰

Sister nurse, you are a PHENOMENAL communicator and educator. Such a great video. Sending this to a gal friend!
39 + 1 weeks, baby dropped in pelvis. But probably decided it was too cold outside.. Scooted back up in the womb.
That is possible? Because i totally felt like the baby had dropped before i even knew that dropping was something and i think it was too soon, it really hurt my pelvis, i could barely move and i had some spotting. So my husband massaged my body, and somehow it became better but now the baby is not dropping 😭😭😭

Aspiring for a VBAC, 40+5 today and still waiting. Cervix closed till 39. Watching, working and hoping things are better now. Thankyou.
Mahwish Ilyas good luck!! I’m 36 weeks today and hoping for a VBAC too!
Hey did your baby got engaged?
I'm due in 2 weeks September 2020. Im so glad I found your videos. They have been so helpful. My first baby.
Just the video I needed! 38 weeks here. Had my previous 2 at 38 weeks exactly but 11 and 7 years ago 😭 house is nested, bag is ready, nothing left to do with my life but wait 😂
Capricorn Girl don't stress relax best of luck
39 weeks and attempting a VBAC. My ob told me that if baby doesn’t engage into my pelvis soon I probably won’t have a successful VBAC. I spoke to my doula and she told me exactly what you said in this video. It doesn’t matter until labor and don’t stress. 💕
I’m doing the stretching, walking and birth ball exercises so hopefully it all works out!
Hey. How did it go,did you manage to have a VBAC?
@@nthabisengmokoena5473 unfortunately my VBAC wasn’t successful. I did go into labor naturally and was 4cm dilated when my baby’s heartbeat dropped so I had to have an emergency C-section. I would’ve definitely had a successful VBAC if my baby didn’t go into distress, but in the end the most important thing is we have a healthy baby.
@@yomi_ash6324 You’re right, having a healthy baby is most important. Congratulations on your successful delivery.
