This game captures the original manga artwork.
Yeah, This --alternate timeline-- version of Lupin may be a more brutish evil jerk here, but it definitely is the faithful monkey punch art nevertheless.
The weirdest thing is the voice acting is not bad at all. For late 90's PSX release standards it's kinda great
5:18 Ah yes, that famous gunshot sound "Bonk!"
Randomly saw this on the sidebar and then saw the oranges in the profile pic... just gotta say thanks for all the Lupin goodness you've brought to us! Didn't even realize you had a YT channel.
I didn't knew there was an English dub!?
Also I swear Maroon sounds a lot like Tom Kenny... Interesting.
This is amazing thank you for this
I tried this on the duckstation emulator, works perfect.
Boy, does Lupin ever sound like Tony Oliver. 😮 for some of it at least.
Tony Oliver didn't voice Lupin until 2003 for the English Dub of Lupin Part 2 aka Red Jacket 1977.
This is the worst voice acting of Lupin which makes him a little bit stupid.
Who voices the characters here? They sound so familiar!!! Particularly Lupin!
The manual only lists the Japanese voice actors. So, unless all the Japanese voice actors are very talented and also did the English lines, they're all uncredited. I can tell you the names of the Japanese cast, but they're just various voice actors who were active in the 90s.
Sorry for the late reply. I try to respond to any questions, but UA-cam didn't give me a notification.
@@Oranges_Love Thank you for looking!!
Your welcome
@@Oranges_Love I'm sure the folks on the Behind the Voice Actors forum would try to solve this little mystery. Might be native English speakers for all we now.
Why does Lupin kind of sound like Sonic the Hedgehog?
This might be Tom Clark or Bob Bergen as Lupin
hearing Melon’s English voice is so weird
Hey. Can I please use some of your footage in my films? I will credit you for it.😆
No.
@@Oranges_Love What?! Why not? What did I do wrong?! I just had to ask you first! That's all!!
Hi! I was wondering if you had an ISO of this game? I'd like to try it out on an emulator.
I don't know if the ISO is anywhere online. There isn't actually anything more in the game to see other than what I put into these 3 videos (unless you really want to see English audio with Japanese text). The only things in the menu are save bookmark, load bookmark, and options. The options are just BGM (on/off), SE (on/off), text language, voice language, autoplay (on/off), and menu language. The only languages for all the settings are Japanese and English.
@@Oranges_Love So I've downloaded this game and I'm playing it on my modded PS1 classic... But I need a bit of help because I don't know a lick of kanji and I'm trying to find the text language/voice language option on the main menu
@@Lupin_The_Third I made a visual guide for anyone who wants to play this, but can't read Japanese.

For anyone wondering where to get the ISO, it's on Archive.org .
@@Oranges_Love thanks dude
Love the Lupin The III series! I was lookin for > Lupin the Third, The Castle of Cagliostro: Reunion (Lupin Sansei: Chateau de Cagliostro Saikai) PlayStation Asmik Ace Entertainment Interactive movie January 10, 1997 ... (or really any Lupin The III PS1 game rom) Anyone know where I can find Lupin The III roms for EPSXE?
question, is this a real game to buy repro or otherwise, because I thought there wasn't any lupin games released in the us around that time?
This is a real game. It was only released in Japan, though. Presumably, they added options for English text and audio in the hope of selling it in other countries, but they never did.
@@Oranges_Love odd considering that an italian version would've made more sense considering its popularity there, so if I bought this would it work an american ps1?
@@thatoneguy1426 The PS1 is region locked, so you would need a Japanese PS1 or a region-free modded PS1.
@@Oranges_Love Yo dude i've been trying to find a place to download this game's rom for the last few months so can i you give a fellow Lupin fan a hand and message me a link or something
@@The_Blue_Otaku I have a physical copy of the game, so I don't know if this upload works. It's probably fine, though. archive.org/details/lupin-3sei-japan.-7z
Is this a real game?
because Lupin the 3rd didn't become well known in the US until the late 2000s
also wasn't the IP in legal hell at that time? Arsene Lupin went in the public domain in 2012
This was never released outside of Japan. It just has options for English text and audio.
Is this just a comic book for ps1
These are stories from Shin Lupin III colored and voice acted.
Yep, just like Marvel's Imperfects (PS2/GameCube) Had. Good times.
Intresting concept
Dose anyone know were to download the rom?
