I always build a massive Plantera arena before hardmode, and to ensure a bulb, I would place rows upon rows of mud (and obviously grow jungle grass) beside the arena so they could grow. It takes a lot of work, but it's a thousand times easier than having to suffer the hardmode jungle whilst failing to find the bulb, while not even having an arena built. The rows upon rows of jungle grass also make it substantially easier to find life fruit.

If those things are built, that means there's a factory somewhere exists that kept churning out these bosses. And the hallowed bars are basically purified chlorophyte, no organic material left. Basically the cyborg kept maintaining the factory until it was caught somewhere in the jungle that knocked it out of autopilot. Don't worry about plot holes. Most of the npcs involved are almost brainwashed.
You can beat phase 2 plantera with a True Excalibur lol. If the tentacles get in the way too much grab a titan potion, they take knockback, albeit reduced.
@@samchiu9918 I get that duke can be fought at any point in hardmode but that doesn’t mean in progression he’s not post plantera bc he very much is meant to be fought post plantera and so his weapons are scaled for post plantera stuff.
Use tunnels and let plantera chase then teleport back in spawnpoint right next to arena when you reach a dead end and do it in another direction of tunnel and repeat

ive pretty much always beaten plantera first try personally (but this might be because sentry summoner is incredibly overpowered (summoners should not be allowed to have 100 defence))

I just kill duke fishron before plantera and use the mount to slowly fly up. Much better than building an arena
