The Niesh Project Pt IV: The Setup (Furniture Fitout)

- The final part to the Niesh series. Installing all the furniture in their space.
Niesh is a small student space here in Auckland, New Zealand where people can come and socialise or do work over coffee and snacks. They also provide free printing which is a big appeal to students.
We also built the 2 computer stands in the photo but we didn't film it as it was a last minute request and time was very short to make it.

Thanks TJ
You welcome my brothers :)
exelente trabajo amigo
Great job. I was wondering how things were going to come together during the build, now it all makes sense. What is the place that you built it for? A coffee shop?
Cheers. It is a coffee shop/student space
awesome bro !!
what kind of plywood and what kind of finishing do you used ?
Thank you! I used prefinished plywood. Saved a lot of time, and used polyurethane on the edges
Awesome job, looks amazing! Quick question - what sort of screws did you use on the pocket-holes? Just thinking that "real" pocket-hole screws wold have a material impact on the build cost. And I've wondered for a while if I can get away with something cheaper :-)
Thanks Tim! Haha I did use real pockethole screws from Kreg. The price gets a bit more reasonable when you buy bulk. I haven't come across any substitutions for the screws. This was my first time using pocketholes
That's cool, thanks for replying! I just checked the price at Carbatec and I can see what you mean. And I'm not sure but they look a bit cheaper than what I remember seeing at Mitre 10 with their competitor to the Kreg system.
I looked at that one too. It was pretty expensive as well so I thought I'd rather go for a brand thats well known and trusted over an as seen on tv brand
Last Minute Thoughts agreed. I got my Kreg before the Mitre 10 one came out, but I think I'd do the same now - to me it just looks like a better quality product.
Супер молодцы 👍
Круто!
whats next ..a space ship ?...great work men...;-p
hahaha I think I'll leave that to Elon Musk
