This week's video brings the best named bourbon out there. Jacob's Pardon. This bourbon has a really cool story behind the name, but even more important it's my last name (Jacobs). Jacob's Pardon is a sourced bourbon, but the source is not disclosed. In the video we take a couple guesses as to the source. Do you think we're right? We must have gotten different bottles. Mine did not have a distinct Dickel flavor, I didn't get the Flintstones flavor. Which the Dickel BIB was overpowering with. Nor did it remind me of Dickel #12. I found it to be a fairly sweet and smooth whiskey. I rather liked it, but I will agree it is not worth $90, but if you can get it for $50 I'd say it is worth it.
