I don’t get why people think Bully is “hating.” No body knows what constructive criticism is anymore. Hate would be wanting something to fail. He obviously sees how stuff could be better, and says why/how. And gives kudos still.

Ronda went to ROH because Marina asked her to come. She is only ROH for a couple of matches. She is working with Marina & TK on a hand shake deal

Bret did 500 autographs for $120 a piece. That's $60,000 he made of autographs. Damn that's smart. I would sign 1,000 if I was famous

Ronda Rousy was right where she needs to be. Yes Wrestling Revolver, Ring of Honor or any independent show. Independent wrestling is not what it used to be and I wish it didn't come with such a negative connotation but I would love to see real big names like The Underraker, John Cena, or even Hulk Hogan show up unannounced at a local independent show, and not just make an appearance but actually stick around for a while and be involved with a story line, even if it crosses across different promotions.
Ronda doesn't get no brownie points from me for debuting at another competors WrestleMania-like event but popping up in Ring of Honor is a great look. Not even since move in wrestling ever made has to be calculated by spreadsheet and determined if it's going to make the most bang for the buck

Swerve has talent to wrestle any kind of match and fans respect him for that...Bully is correct that it's not heels job to be liked by fans and that's what made death match a bit awkward....

The staple gun spot was more psychology than no-selling. Think of Swerve as the horror movie villain that just doesn't stop in the pursuit. In that moment, he was Michael Myers or Terminator (part 1) or as Mark referred to him as, Tony Montana (during Scarface's conclusion) with his body being pumped full of rounds but still somehow riding that last bit of coke-fueled adrenaline long enough to take out a few more assassins before succumbing to his wounds. The moment may not be a norm in professional wrestling but I felt it gave Swerve an unrelenting and sadistic edge to the character he's been portraying.

The truth about Ronda Rousey is that some wrestling fans are the ones who destroyed her, but they don't want to admit it and instead put the blame on her. When she first appeared, she stole the spotlight from all the wrestlers at WrestleMania, despite the presence of big names like John Cena, Undertaker, and others. She was the star of the Show and she was amazing and she felt like she wanted to win and she was real on the mic, but when she won the women’s belt here the fans hated her and some started attacking her with comments, boos, boos, etc. That’s why she lost a lot of her fighting spirit. Wrestling fans are the real reason. They respect a drunkard wrestler who hits his wife, like Steve Austin, and in return, they attack Ronda Rousey. The measure of respect and hatred among some wrestling fans is strange and funny.

Ronda rousey is and has always beena. Selfish, bitter clown. Nothing you said here is actually true. She has one good match maybe 2 her entire career & now shes attacking the company she ran to when she couldn't cut it in the UFC anymore just like she did to Dana White. The things she said turned out to be lies & the same is happening here. No surprise & im glad shes gone.

Swerve no selling hits from a weapon is no different than Jason ignoring shots from a baseball bat from someone he's trying to kill. Page, the good guy is stapling the bad guy, which is swerve and he ignores it and continues forward. Which would make you nervous as a fan of the Babyface.
Also, the whole old school babyface that kisses babies and smiles and the heel who's a coward that gets the crowd to boo them is from a bygone era. Is still there and can work but alot of heels today have layers to them. They're not simply just "grrr I'm a bad guy just bc grrr".

Bully seemed to be on his Cornette today 😂 Tony Montana was a drug dealer & murderer (heel) but had sympathy because we understood where he came from & stood for. Same as Swerve. To me, the staple spot was a gear change.

Unfortunately, AEW fans, really wrestling fans in general, have an attention span of nematodes. This is why story, character, psychology, promos, etc matter. Matches are like flashes of neon light signs in Las Vegas if they don’t have those very important elements.

The drinking blood thing was cringe and that was real blood. I saw some comments on other videos from people that were there live. The crowd was definitely team swerve more than hangman. Think of LA Knight. He did a goofy run with the models to his last goofy match with Bray and now look at him on the main event scene.
