Listen carefully both songs and then tell me the difference. I researched every James Hetfield voice.
But Black Album voice was not really James' voice so it kinda ruined whole scream-thingy voice. Bob "Cock" was forcing him to do heavy metal voice instead of his old voice which can fit very well with vocal tuners. Whoever did the editing/mixing has them crystal clear too. It has always been a thing of beauty to hear them so locked into each other's rhythm playing like that.

That's how it's always been, James on the left Kirk on the right. Bass in the center, and drums as if you were in front of the kit.
Seeing Rob playing that bass like that (when rehearsal), looks like he didn't give much effort and still sounds amazing.
Really liked that one. Very climatic performance, and Lars' drumming was much better than lately.
