@Brody Oxford um because the man is in his late 50s creeping up on 60 and he's not just hitting this and that he's also doing double bass at the same time at a really fast pace, which is also lots of stamina dude, so yes this is amazing that the fact that Lars still got it at his age and even now, Rock On Lars!🤟🏿so I'm sorry he deserves the hype to me and its freaking awesome! This is just how I see it and how I feel about , I'm not saying you should feel the same I'm just expressing why this part in the video is a big deal!

I am a lifelong Metallica fan, even though I didn’t hear them until the black album era. I’ve been with them through their stylistic changes and internal conflicts. While I like some albums more than others, I really honestly can say I enjoy all their music. They could probably switch to playing smooth jazz and I’d still love it.
It made its way onto the HtSD deluxe set, so it still counts

I love Metallica. My first cassette of theirs was Master of Puppets. This was before Justice was even a thing. It was a different time. Unless you lived it you can't understand. Metallica was kinda scary to the mainstream listener who hadn't heard it yet. To even buy it back then, you kinda felt like it was bad or something, but we loved it so couldn't stop listening. Granted I was 10, lol. But anyways I've given every record after Justice a chance so me alone proves you wrong. It's just a fact the same energy is just not there anymore which is also fine. I like their new stuff. It's just nowhere near as good as the first 4. The Black album is in a class of its own though. Not better than the first 4 but different, and great. It's really an awful human being who judges people because they don't have the exact same opinions on music. Use your brain before you act, the world needs unity, not hate like communists always bring. I doubt you're a bad dude, you're just repeating something very commonly said on the internet. Guess what the internet is degrading our relations because of group think like that. What are we gonna let the corporations that run these websites control our thoughts? I just ask not to be cruel to folks you don't even know. That's how genocide happens and believe it or not that is possible here. People need to stop being so weak and stand up. That's what Metallica really stands for in my opinion. But again you had to experience how it all started .

I went to SF just to go to HQ. Took ages to get there, 2 taxis and a ferry. Eventually got there, stood in front of HQ, took a photo, and then the front door to HQ opened and a random unknown told me to fuck right off.

I wish they would've kept the original guitar solo and the original tom fills on the intro for the amazing sonic sound and mix of the Hardwired release.

I love these kind of videos. It really gives a good insight into the making of the album and how these songs have progressed from demo songs to the final product.

@ SmokeThatSkinwagon: Yeah, it's a bonus track. And that's good, because it's not one of their better songs. So you might say it's a leftover they put on the bonus cd. But Kerry King says he has 5 or 6 leftovers from "Repentless" he's going to use on their next album. So one band puts the "not so good" songs on the side or on a bonus cd and another band will put 5 or 6 leftovers, that is songs that didn't make the album (that's only about 40 min. long anyway), that is songs that are "not so good", on their coming album. See the difference? And that's the difference in quality. And that's why Metallica are where they are.
I feel like it easily tops some of the weaker songs on the main album. 'Now that we're dead' comes to mind. That main verse riff is so great. Brilliant vocals on the 2017 version too.
And now the entire making of the album is complete.
