- Hello Wasteland! In today's episode we are looking at how I build my Mad Max Fury Road inspired Buzzards, how I make radiators to go on the front of my builds, and how to cover a car in spikes!
And finally, I am getting in touch with the 2 winners of my 1000 sub give away! Check your messages people ;-)

I'm only here for the 'Hellooo. Wasteland!'
Just a tip, and something that surprised me: Get a jewellers saw: they go through the hotwheels metal like butter (even more than a metal saw!) and give you enough control (with some practice) to neatly follow panel lines.
I'll have to look into it man 😉 thanks for the shout out
My kid has been dying to build "Prickles" from the Mad Max video game, but with my limited modeling experience I had no idea how to do that in a way that would look good. This video is exactly what I wanted!
Thank you man 😂 I'm still learning myself, but I'm glad I could help 😉
Awesomeeee
Nice build but those spikes look to uniform by being lined up in rows if you do a zig zag of random shapes and sizes it would look better
Your best video i think
Its in the cereal isle because its a likely place for parents to bring their children or send their children while they shop nearby.
I know xD Just a strange thing to see
Amazing mate!!! I’ll defiantly be trying this out to make more to join my 32s!! Thanks so much for those!
Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing.
Sweet. I don't have the patience to make a buzzard, but you never know, these tips could come in handy some day for me, maybe in some other application...
It just takes time man 😉
Awsome tips !
Nice vid; love the radiators, simple and effective.
Sometimes simple is best 😁
Nice work, James.
Your wasteland builds are awesome
This is such a fun build. I was having a think and realized, the prongs from plastic forks would make for great spikes in the future.
Aye I used them on my Mad Dog build. But they can be tricky to stick
Inspiring
Hotwheels “Attaxi”. Got that one!
scary moment at 5:58, and congratulations on over 1.3k subscribers.
Infinite ways to f*** up, 2 ways to succeed... one of which is that.
I always get scared when you scrape the knife towards your finger...
It's alright ;-) It's been many years since I last cut myself. Although yes, best practice is to cut away.
Great video and absolutely fantastic work! I've recently been pointed towards Gaslands by a friend (he needed more opponents and knew I was a lover of Mad Max etc). I'm currently reading through the rulebook at the moment and struggling to decide which faction to pursue in terms for vehicles. The cars you produced through this video and displayed at the end look brilliant.
Thank you man 😉 I know it can seem daunting when you first start, but I find the best thing to do is pick one you like the sound of and just start playing 😁 don't worry too much about optimizing lists when you first start, this isn't your average tabletop game 😉 get tires on tables and start the carnage!
@@jhminiatures7867 Thank you for the input, it's greatly appreciated. To be honest it's more for guidance on how to theme my cars, haha.
At the moment I'm trying to find cars in the Hot Wheels and Matchbox range which are from British manufacturers (Jag, Land Rover etc) but this is proving somewhat more difficult than anticipated. I'm sure I'll get there though.
@@FreeFragUK land rovers should be easy enough, unless it's the retro rovers you're looking for. My best advice would be eBay or looking at your local thrift stores, charity shops, and car boot sales / flea markets 😉
To cut metal cars use a jeweler's saw... carefully and buy numerous blades at a time.
I have one now ;-)
Hot Wheels are in the cereal aisle because when the Mommy and/or Daddy takes the kids grocery shopping the kids are most likely engaged to in choosing what they want for breakfast and they most likely want the sugar puffsssss...!! MOM! Hot Wheels! Buy me thissss!!!
Hey awesome builds !
I build Mad Max and future crazy customs .
Love your work, your Buzzards look KOOL .
Where are you getting the plastic I beams ?
Thanks, Mike Espo .
Evergreen plastics styrene has anytype of shape and sheet and beams ECT you can think of for modeling if you need it or think of it they have it including rail road rails and ties corregated sheeting beams rods tubes square tube ECT go look anything you need they have it
Thanks so much.
ITS like the same!
Can you use superglue on paint that is still on the car or the chrome, in order to glue on plastic pieces?
holy shit just gave me a great idea with that gopro car, i want to film gaslands like a stop motion film and that would be ideal though dragonframe doesnt seem to support wireless cameras but I think I will make my own camera rig with bigger wheels and suspension maybe just tape the cord to scenery out of the way while filming, havent come across too many people filming gaslands this way i think it could be a good way to make money especially editing it together with effects and sounds
Sounds great man 😁
Brilliant as always mate always look forward to seeing what you’ve been up too....any chance you could email me some pics of that police car you featured on your give away a few weeks back please
Really nice!
Good job! But where you buy the plastic for make the spike with I-Beam ?

ua-cam.com/video/xU4SQa5eJN8/v-deo.html
Bundles of plastic tubing ;-)
What about a gaslands heavy lift chinook?
I like the sound of that 😂 it could work. 😉
Do you have an Amazon affiliate link to any of the materials you use in these builds? I would like to try these and if it i can support your videos doing so.
Your videos give me inspiration. Keep up the good work.👍
Hey thank you Allen! That's not something I'd considered, but I'll look into it and get back to you on that one :D
Okay I'm setting up some affiliate links to the main materials I use on Amazon :-) You can always find them in the video description, and on my channel description
Voice in both ears! Yay! \o/
Celebrated too soon :/
When you are in your workshop the voice is only in the left ear still :(
:-/ but...but it's all the same recording...wat
maybe its because the mic you use for recording is stereo and it placed to your right?
Could be 😉 I use a headphone speaker when I record, so it could be it needs a splitter cable or something like that to record dual channel. Will continue to try things out man 😁
Can you please make a video on a build of an helicopter for gaslands?
whats the name of the truck
If you mean the War-rig, that's my Wolverine 😎
No the truck you stole the engine from
Dude if you gimmie a shoutout in your next vid, I’ll do the same for you! Thanks man.
spikes just too thick sir.....
