In today's episode, I look at the magical art that is trash bashing, turning waste plastic, cardboard and metal into bits suitable for Gaslands vehicles! No plasticard or specialist bits are used in this episode. Everything you see is from the recycling bin!

You have a lot of interesting techniques. I feel more at ease now that I know many of you scratch build with recycled materials.
Your box of plastic things at the end reminds me of mine. For anybody watching, next time you are out and about in an urban area, (Industrial estate/city..even suburban areas) have a look at the ground. I have found so many interesting plastic bits and bobs, ideal for props, gasland conversions etc. Plus you are keeping the environment clean....winning!

Hellooo JH! Ahhhhh yes, the long foretold return has happened and all the Black Thumbs rejoice! This is a great example of how imagination is more important than a 3D printer to get started in this hobby. Stay safe and 'Rona free! Witnessed brother! 😉 There is a fine balance to the art of mad max toy cars, and one day I'm sure I'll succumb and get a 3D printer. However, that is not this day! 😁

11:20 they make special pointy cotton swabs for make-up / manicures. They costs 4x more but the plastic tubes and rocket-warhead tips make it a bargain!
Badab Black was one of the old Citadel Washes line, along with Baal Red, Devlan Mud, Leviathan Purple, Ogryn Flesh, Gryphonne Sepia, Thraka Green and Asurmen Blue.
Im always chastised for pinching the recylcing. Apparently "not everything is scenery" lol

my favorite piece is probably the window armor never thought of foil might have to try it on a build i’ve been planing possibly a buzzard type concept

Window blinds work well for plastic the big blade ones that hang infront of huge windows are the best my huge windows use giant blades that are made of literally the same material as pla plate / plasticard

Nice stuff, James. Kinda reminds me of the Vermin Van from Twisted Metal PS3. I've recently been trying to use some recycled materials myself, for example, on an upcoming build, I've made rear window louvers out of a ribbed piece of plastic from an old TV remote. Also, if it's a "U.S. Van" Wouldn't it be left hand drive?

Anybody played the latest mad max game? There's a cleanup crew that works the sieged outposts of your enemies, maybe that's just one of their wasteland mashines

Um, i don't know if you have noticed, but the united states of America has gone cuckoo. Does it specifically state that the "van" of the united states of van shall never be parked down by a river in it's Constitution? If so, can i become a citizen? Plus 2021 is right around the corner, and i don't know anybody named max. 😎😏😁 i hate driving on the other side, but u put me on that gun you'll never waste a bullet. Lol
