yes indeed, my husband bought so many sizes of flashlight, small to a big large one. Oh boy I know what this is. all about, U are great presenting as well............great job Russell...........thanks
That was a good presentation. I never heard of this company until now. I will check out. My brother in law for Christmas gave me a Tuque with an LED light built in the front. It is really bright at night and had given me a hand-free approach for anything I need to look for or repair at night.

The problem with (in my experience) ALL flashlights (torches) is that the on/off switch fails. I have a "Nebo Redline Select", which is mid-range. When the switch failed I managed to dismantle it and repair it. And you can bet that the switch will fail at the most inconvenient time and with a fully-charged battery, when you least expect it to stop working. So you always have to carry a spare, which is good enough to get you out of trouble when required. And I NEVER watch adverts. But ... darn it ... it's Raspberry Rock so I simply had to!
@@RaspberryRockOffGridCabin Hey thanks Russ. I've used a mid-70's Burgess Safari light on all my deer hunting trips for about 35 years. It still works great, and uses two alkaline C batteries. Getting into and out of the mountains in the dark without a light isn't much fun. This model: www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-BURGESS-FLASHLIGHT/264957525602?hash=item3db0b2fe62:g:cgkAAOSw171fcPWU
I usually go with smaller quality lights with adjustable lens that use 1 AAA battery and keep a spare battery or two on me, that size makes them perfect to hold with my mouth when doing mechanics work and they also fit well in pen pockets!
Enjoyed this video and I have this flashlight which is impressive and it's bright for hiking with good run times. Style and design of flashlight is Excrllant. It a great self defence light when you need it. I paid full price for it and I find it is worth the money you pay! At night it gets spooky so a light like this will keep spooky things away. With 600 meter throw is fantastic. Olight has made this light to be so tough so it won't break easy. Glad I bought it when I did which I first saw it. Hope you'll get so much use from it and light up everything!
Great video! Looks like a decent light but It’s no Thrunite though! One thing I have learned with these metal flashlights with the pointy heads.... don’t keep them in your pants pockets!! Lol
You can see Russia from your back porch... I use COAST brand flashlights. Why? Because they are NOT Aluminum flagpole/freezer pipes in the winter. Coast has ABS plastic vs. metal pipe. Plastic can be held bare handed...when wet/cold/dropped in snowbank etc. Olights are top tier but ICE COLD for half the year :) Juss my 2 cents
This is the first time that I've gone with someone endorsing a product on UA-cam like this. I went and jumped on the combo deal right after watching this. That being said, I then did a pile of research on this brand and it seems that you're hard pressed to not find a UA-cam reviewer that got the light for free in exchange for a review. I guess this just shows the confidence I have in the "Russel word". :)
High praise, Al! I get offered products all the time, and most of them are either garbage or just aren't appropriate for the theme of my channel. So I'm pretty choosey about what I talk about. That said, you're right that we walk a fine line on reviewing a product when we're getting it for free. Depending on what it is, I might tell the brand, "You can send me that item, but I'm going to do an honest review whether you like it or not." In this particular case, I was careful not to call this video a 'review', because it isn't. But I was 99% sure it was going to be a great product. Let me know what you think when you get it, Al.

it's really dark at night in Canada, especially when you add in the exchange rate
There's a tax on moon light, too.

I would agree with you on the switch problem. This one seems pretty robust. Thanks Manolis.
For everyday carry, the i3T EOS is a very nice choice. It puts out 180 lumens and is decently small for only ca $22. You should check it out!
Does that light float? I've done a fair amount of fishing at night from a boat and lights are easy to drop. Good review.
No way it floats, GT. I'd tie a float to it.

But why does it have less Power than the Black one?
2100 to 2250 Lumens
And Throw just 500m instead 600m
