Wow that is small. It's actually practical for personal transport.
The Pulse makes the C8R an even better bunker running ship than it already was.
Happy to report that it also fits in the Syulen!
Thank god
Pro tip: if an UGF bunker lift bugs out, the Mirai Pulse will allow you to drop into the shaft without risk.
Upvoting this for visibility, your brilliance will not fall through the cracks
How do you get back out tho lol

@4:45 I'm amazed by the divergence between the narrative of how immersive this game is supposed to be, how realistic it's supposed to be with the constant glitching through objects.
@RN1441 Star Citizen is clip galore.
Always has been and looks like CIG doesn't care to fix the massive clipping issues.
@@Camural As a layman in these matters I would assume the desync between the render-engine and hit detection on their models is what causes the constant glitching through objects, which is funny that in year 12 this still happens.
Makes one wonder if their alleged Frankenstein engine, that originated from CryEngine aka. Amazon Lumberyard aka. now "StarEngine", is even capable of that without forcing CIG to make concessions in other areas.
But hey, trust in the process (or so the apologists will have us believe) and wait for the miracle of ServerMeshing and whatever other jesus-tech to solve those problems.
@@Camurali think most, or a lot, of them are server related. Lets wait for server meshing
Whoever designed the pulse should rework the Nova tank!
*should rework every ship to have reasonable scales. The slow speeds of MM would be more fun if the ships were all sized smaller.
@NozomuYume everything is massively inflated in Star Citizen.
Even the "light" Storm tank is bigger than a world war 2 super heavy Maus tank, which was a terrible design.
Storm doesn't even have the "interior" excuse, Storm doesn't have an interior.
Most, if not all, of CIGs vehicles for both land and space are too big cause CIG forces their oversized metrics into them to accomodate their stupid braindead AI pathways.
Not just to Nova tank, but EVERY vehicle in SC, cause as far as we've been told most vehicles are as big as they are to accomodate CIGs AI pathways.
@avon_c6199 CIG's bad AI and players/NPC being Michelin man are some of the reasons for the comically large vehicles in Star Citizen. However, Storm tank doesn't even have an interior.
CIG could do much better, 2 years ago they showed us an ISC where NPCs squeezed by each other, still no where to be seen.
It also fits in the Tana.
Excellent, that what I wanted to know!
Yup, I did that last night and took it to an npc bounty bunker and started parking too close. (1.5km ish) I got ripped apart by the two AA turrets that I didn't even know were there. I came in targeting around and found only two abandoned ships targetable. AA lasers were silent and invisible until I popped. Next round, I parked at 3km, and the pulse worked great.
I think you can fit 2 inside and still have room to walk in. @derkatzenfuerst6077
@@GhostRecon2015 That is correct, you can easily have two in there and walk to the cockpit normally.
This is the golden post I came to find. Thanks hero!
I found an abandoned Pulse yesterday at an outpost with an abandoned Cutty Black parked nearby. It was rolled over on its side; presumably its owner abandoned it or died, after it tipped over. I managed to get on the Pulse and with a bit of effort, managed to right it. I rode it around for about 5 minutes and it seemed to me that the problems with hover bikes had been resolved, but eventually I grew too bold and took a massive jump off of a hill and the Pulse exploded when it landed on the ground.
I don’t see the point in buying the Pulse as long as they’re death traps to ride.
They could be useful if we could control max speed
Well I mean it kinda sounds like a skill issue lol
@@Literallyryan190 Replying to a 3 month old comment sounds like a timing issue. lol

Thank you for always doing these tests. You save a lot of time for people.
Maybe you should have had a "very easy" tag for ships that did it with no jank. I was happily surprised about the Terrapin.
The narration was my favorite part. Love your voice and cadence.
Ohh you forgot the 300's. Would have been interesting to see what happens with the lift.
I believe you can drive the Pulse up the hangar elevators and into the City itself 😆 no one will notice o:
Could it fit the Raft elevator?
I wish CIG would let us open big container box and put vehicles in them.
The pulse fits in the ship
Which ship?
Yes
lol
Can confirm it fits in the 325a - just needs to be parked diagonally.
It will fall over and glitch if it's not parked near perfectly but haven't had and explosion..... yet.
I will have to try it with my 315p. It sounds like that should be easy to do.
@@brianknowlton5858315p and 300I should be cake for it.
Kinda embarrassing, but I only found out last night that my 325a has a cargo ramp like my 300i and 325p.
should be able to use the trackor beam to move it
since u can move 16 scu boxes
hello camural I have a small question. Can you just simply tractor beam the pulse inside and out instead of driving it on and off? I know a two handed tractor beam can do this but im wondering if the smaller one can do it as well. Thanks!
Yes it works too.
@@Camural wow thanks for the prompt response! Please keep doing what you do and always hold cig accountable, even if it's through humor.
@Camural what would You do without the, always dedicated help of Flicka??? It kind of always reminds me of the Muppet show back in the days, with the Mad Scientist and His helper!!! 😂🤣💪🏻👌🏻 Always brilliant and in depth analysis vids by You and Flicka! Cheers!
PS! It almost sounds like you are fond of the pulse!......forgetting of course the minor incident with the explosion at the end of the vid! 😁
actually a well desgined vehicle... wow!
Storing Pulse in 100i would work if you could fold that bed. Personally I would use multitool to just put it into tiny spaces.
When stuck just Flicka your way out. It really needs a kick stand. Isn't there a 300 series that has a drop down cargo bay? I wonder if you could power the moped down and Tractor beam it inside it?
Your vid made me go and buy one just now. Keep on testing things so show us if it works or not.
You would think, they made the visual model bigger than the physics model, but often it is the other way around.
there is a picture of the racing variant in the Syulen. have you tried that yet?
What about the 300 series cargo bay?
I've had it in the 325 bay without many issues (diagonally), though others here have had trouble. Can definitely be done though.
Nice video :) What's the name of the Pulse's paint, in this video?
@andydsm it is the warbond paint: Pulse - Dominion Paint
@@Camural Thanks! Liking the dark carbon fiber/gold look on it
Curiousity got the better of me and I tested to see if it fits in the back cargo space on the Argo SRV and it does!
I wanted to record it but my ship blew up because I looked at it funny!
@PlayerSlotAvailable thanks for the info! We couldn't test every ship of course, took us long enough already.
If you open the internal cargo of the 100i. It makes it a little easier. It actually almost fits completely in the cargo area lol. Still you probably want to use a tractor beam.
what about the 135c ramp ?
@@DarkHannil I don’t have a 135c to try unfortunately.
It also fits in elevators pretty easily. You can operate some of the elevators without even getting off 😂. I got it into NB spaceport with no problem.
Unfortunately the Pulse cannot fit a 300i, but I don't think it's about metrics: the cargo bay in the 300serie is probably the most glitchy lift ever conceived and I once had the ship explode trying to deliver a pizza box
I fits in the 325A.... I've had it in and out a few times. Don't know if the 300i has a different size bay but the trick is to park it diagonally.
(Edit: I see the 300i has double the size so it must just be a glitch problem with the 300i. The process of getting it in the 325a is fine when the movement is smooth (which is rare i guess), so hopfully it'll fit in the 300i as well once the gravlev flight model is polished )
@@AgentXRifle the trick is to get it diagonal so from the riders seat it looks like the gun is just hanging over the edge. Turn it off and raise it up. I've had it freak out a few times going up but never even damaged either ship or bike.... Had it in and out of the 325a 6-7 times +.
Not sure if there's another trick I'm doing as I've not had to experiment much, just rode it on.
Only reason I'm not using it as much is the 325 hud missing bug makes it a frustrating daily driver.
Good luck
now there are problems sometimes with Titan. It wiggles on the ramp and sometime blows up)
Thank you for always doing these with a scientifically ridiculous approach Camural!
I have been dying to see if the Pulse will fit in the rear of an Origin 135c (likely will with tractor beam) and the larger cargo lift of the 315p, which the Hoverquad fits length & width-wise, just doesn't settle with the height...I think it will fit in the 315p as well.
Remember this kinda small behicle is probably easier to get in and out of vehicles using a handheld tractorbeam
@soleenzo893 yes of course but we ran into a lot of bugs, we should be able to use tractor beams on landing pads but it didn't work.
Of course we can leave armistice zone and try then, but this video took 9 hours:
2 x 3 hours recording
3 hours editing
I earn next to nothing on UA-cam, so please understand there are limits.
You should test the spirit during these cuz its roof is shallow and it has a hard time having hovers parked inside.
I'm curious if it can fit in a mustang's cargo hold
Just to let y’all know the pulse can fit quite comfortably in the MSR’s secret compartment.
great testing, gotta admit i was star struck seeing flicka on my server the other day i think SC is heading in the right direction (it just takes them 12 years lol) this is why i like the channel i want less fluff and more core mechanics which i think the devs want too but the loud minority want toilets.
👋
Hey Camural,
first of all, great video! answered a lot of the questions I had on this bike.
Have you tested whether or not it is possible to store the bike in the 135c's rear cargo area? I feel like it would be big enough since it drops down.
Thank you I was looking forward to this
Tractor beam it
Sometimes it happens that i can drive only with very low speed with my Pulse. I see then in the HUD that "Gear" is highlightet. Looks like that the gear is lowered, without any optical that there is an gear at the Pulse. I can press the key for lowering / drive in the gear. But nothing happens. Gear in HUD is still highlightet. If gear is not highlightet then i can drive with max-speed. I don´t know how to solve or where is the problem. Do you have an idea ?
@user-pv1et7lu6c I have no idea, sorry.
These things are so small CIG should make mounting pylons so they can attach to the outside of some ships. Or maybe a high tech bike rack?
I was able to fit 14 pulse bikes into a cutlass red.
Would be 19 if you dont leave space to walk through the ship. 😂
was hoping someone would try to fit one in a syulen
I was really hoping you would test the Reliant.
What about 135c cargo area?
I used to do this but now have an intrepid and pretty much do the same with its small cargo area. You have to crouch when coming out of 135c. But its awesome. You can put a 2 scu box in the back and still access it and park the bike on the end. I was doing it in 3.23 pu
If I put a Pulse at the habitation deck of my Reclaimer, will I die from launching it from the airlock?
@TheFalco708 I guess you have to find out and tell us :)
can you try to fit it in the syulen
i knew someone's gonna do this vid.
no. no. no. must
also do test how many can fit in C2
should try behind the seat in mustang alpha or beta
Can you get into the turret on the Vanguard with it in there?
@brianreck5971 we haven't tested this but there should be enough space.
I got into the turret no problem when we were testing this since I had the same question.
@@flickatests... Awesome! thanks for checking
do you think you could fit 2 pulse in the 400i? That would be game changer
@davidpaul5938 on the main elevator or up the stairs, sure.
On the small gravlev elevator at the font, I don't think so.
Honestly most of the tight fits or ones that didn't work could mostly be fixed by a tractor beam
It also fits in the Prowler.
you can still use a tractorbeam to get it out of the 100i
Thank you for testing Terrapin! The Nox fits in it depending on the attitude of the patch. Since this one fits so well, I might have to switch to the pulse instead of nox. Too bad I think it kinda looks like ass!
@PlayerSlotAvailable if you want to use the Pulse to approach bunker turrets and don't care about looks or giving Chris more money, the Pulse certainly makes sense. The Pulse is the first vehicle in Star Citizen that is not comically oversized.
@@Camural Oh! I just came to a realization.
Could it fit in an SRV back cargo storage? The Nox almost does, this one might? I might try it myself if no one else does. Though not sure how soon I can try that.
most folks i know were the most curious if it would fit in a tana in all honesty lol
I was able to put Mirai Pulse into Connie front elevator, not without problems, but it is possible
Now, if only if the Mirai Pulse can be carried in the hand like a 1/8 SCU Crate...
I blew up my first 2 attempts at the Titan. Idk. Invisible something. I wasn't going that fast though and I kept catching the roof it felt like. I'm gonna ram it in there after seeing this.
No F7C mk2 cargo area test?
Warlock - you could tractor beam it in and out?
@JagHiroshi well it worked without tractor beam.
We had trouble with the tractor beam even on the landing pads, tractor beam didn't work.
You can fly out of armistice zone, but it wasn't worth it for us.
Has anyone tried to shove it in 135i(100i cargo variant) cargo area?
I think you can fit 3 in a Cutter Scout
You answered my next question. Thanks!
Does it fit on SRV cargo ramp?
yep, you'd get 3 or 4 on there (just tested it with one but there's loads of room)
Mustang UNDER body container
omg finally a vehicle that may fit into my kore
People say it does
Is it in already?
yes
its not even small, it's what should be normal.
as you say, the rest are comically oversized for no other reason than to waste space.
i would not even buy any of them from the ingame auec store, and the pulse neither because it looks (and flies) terrible.
@the_babbleboom even the Storm tank that doesn't even have an interior, is bigger than a world war 2 super Heavy Maus tank (which was a terrible design) .
The "light" Storm tank would need 3 lanes in a city.
How can CIG be so blind? Making comically huge vehicles to limit what ships can carry them?
You want a Nova tank, buy a Hercules pleb!?
You should have put the terrapin as Very Easy
Wie deutsch kann man sein wenn man english spricht. MAXIMAL
Mustang Alpha ?
Masterpiece
thx
Totaly of topic, but are all snubs as in fury bust now .as in fury is not fast at all now
OK im buying one it fits in a pieces lol
The 1 ship i wanted to see was 300i
This took us 2x 3 hours to record the footage + 3 hours for me to edit the video = 9 hours.
I might earn 4 dollars on UA-cam with this video.
Please understand we are investing our free time doing those tests and editing video for no compensation.
Absolutely Camural. You do great work! Thank you o7. I just love the 325a is all.
@@Justin-v9r I've had it in and out of the 325a with no problems (considering the space - it does glitch a bit occasionally but no damage to the ship or bike).
A couple of comments above say they've had no luck with the 300 or 325 though so it might not be as straight forward as i've found it. Definitely doable though.
Nice, ty!
pulse so cheap i love it
And why did you skip the Gatac Syulen?
Syulen? haha
It fit's in the Syulen!
Getting up the stairs is a bit finicky though.
@@Taturo Oh! Good to hear thanks!!!
can it fit? yes. but its a bit jank
Can I sell the bike?
Not sure I like the Pulse, its characteristics kill me…
