Hello, I'm from Australia and I have never been able to make bread, it has always been raw in the middle and overcooked on top, or deflated lol, I havent been able to even make pizza dough, but i thought I'd give your recipe a go and I cant believe it, I have 4 panini rolls, they are cooked in the middle and look so delicious, I'm so greatful and happy, finally I have been able to make bread, thank you so much for the recipe. Hi John just wanted to say thank you, thank you, thank you! I have struggled with my bread making in the past, never quite getting it right. That is until i came across your channel. I watched all your bread making videos ( they made so much sense) and decided to have a go at the Sandwich loaf. Followed your method exactly and Hey presto! a perfect loaf! ere in doors challenged me to do it again the next day (i think she thought it was a fluke!) and guess what another perfect loaf. Yeah but it's kind of the wrong way of doing it. Since you can't have 100% of one thing and then add more then you would have more than 100%. It would be easier to rewrite it in a more logical way.

Thank you SO MUCH for this wonderful recipe! I lived in Italy for a few years back in the mid-'80's. And there was a café around the corner from my apartment that had the most amazing paninis! My mom and I used to get them a lot, and we loved and now miss them. Now with this recipe, maybe I can bring back a little culinary nostalgia for my mom and I! 😊 I've tried "paninis" here in the States, and they just aren't the real thing to me. To me, they're just a regular sandwich on big grilled sandwich bread. lol Nothing like I ate in Italy! lol Yours look more like what I remember! 😊

Another great recipe John. The calculation method is easy to follow. I have been baking bread sine I found your channel. I have found your ideas really easy to follow as I’m not the best baker and as it’s just two of us don’t do too much baking. I wanted to tell you what amazing results I have had from your class on using plain flour. When flour was difficult to get hold of I purchased a 16 kg bag from a mill. When you put the video on for All purpose flour iI purchased the wheat germ as you suggested and have also used plain flour and wheat germ for your Half and Half loaf which my husband and I really enjoy. Did these today John and they turned out a treat. Followed your recipe to the letter, apart from the fact I used extra strong Allisons flour with a third of a blend of Canadian strong flour. It was all I had, but worked out beautifully. Useful suggestion for a future Regis Homity pie. It’s a vegetable pie that became popular and born out of the lack of meat during WW2. Should go down well in this day and age with the vegetarians 👍

Very nice, John. I will have to try this one. Herself and I are panini fans. I just took a boule out of the oven. Not having a suitable Dutch oven, I use a very big flour pot with an eye bolt for a handle and the saucer for the bottom. I call it my flour pot. I wanted to tell you what amazing results I have had from your class on using plain flour. When flour was difficult to get hold of I purchased a 16 kg bag from a mill. When you put the video on for All purpose flour iI purchased the wheat germ as you suggested and have also used plain flour and wheat germ for your Half and Half loaf which my husband and I really enjoy. Brilliant results. Thank you so much. Keep well and show us some more please 🤗

Did these today John and they turned out a treat. Followed your recipe to the letter, apart from the fact I used extra strong Allisons flour with a third of a blend of Canadian strong flour. It was all I had, but worked out beautifully. Useful suggestion for a future Regis Homity pie. It’s a vegetable pie that became popular and born out of the lack of meat during WW2. Should go down well in this day and age with the vegetarians 👍

I just took a boule out of the oven. Not having a suitable Dutch oven, I use a very big flour pot with an eye bolt for a handle and the saucer for the bottom. I call it my flour pot. Haven't figured out how to paste a picture.

Another fantastic bread baking video John, I’ve tried a few of yours now and always get amazing results (the baguettes and ciabatta are so good I now regularly bake them for family and friends).
