Our friend is a retired Methodist minister who just got a letter saying that since he is now retired and attending a different church he will no longer receive his pension. Is that true?
How do we get the word out? My belief is that preachers are not addressing this at the local church level in fear of loosing their pension.
Probably a breaking down of the call to preach the Word of God as truth; along with the lack of the fear of God among ministers. Sad thing, there are so many who still need to hear about God's salvation through Jesus Christ.
Which states are you more likely to be successful exiting out of using 2548.2 rather than 2553?
At this point in time, most conferences are not allowing churches to leave under 2548.2.
If there no Trust Claus mentioned in the church property deed is that a way to disaffiliate and retain the property for free ?
