I'm digging the short format build ideas with flight footage sprinkled in. One suggestion: add the build specs in the description and/or chapter markers to the build specs in the video. I don't know what it is about chapter markers that just makes videos seem more interactive.

I swear to you I had the same reservations when I first started flying - when you’re in the air though 3 min starts to feel like a long time 😅 and we can always buy more batteries ! They’re are cheap on the micro drones
Are you on a 2-3s build? If you’re on BF 4.3 or 4.4 fpv cycle has a preset that is a good starting point. Just search up TP3 in the presets - just make sure your fc has bidirectional d shot setup - I believe that’s part of the preset
Just finished a crux3 hdzero build. Very odd having lower kV motors (6400) on 3018 bi blades. Very efficient with long flight times but didn't feel as punchy as higher kV motors on smaller props.
You could definitely pump the KV up a bit if youre looking for some extra punch - or use a tri blade instead. It takes some getting used to, but I enjoy the flight characteristics of these lower kvs on a light toothpick. You can/have to use more of your throttle range when flying around - makes me feel like im really utilizing all the build has to offer! But the extra weight of HD might benefit from some higher kv motors, as well
@MoeFPV hey Moe. The fc came out of a mobula8 which is tri blade and lighter. Could the tune on the fc be not optimal for more weight and bigger bi blades? Should I try the tp3 tune you mentioned above?
@@FIGFPV that is a good place to start but might require a bit further adjustment to get it flying the way you’d like. Also gotta make sure you have bidirectional d shot enabled if the FC is capable as well as dshot600 I believe! What FC are you using?
On these x12s, I just replace the PH 2.0 connector with the XT30. Once you take the shrink tube off the connector, you can just unsolder it and swap it for the XT30
Did you tried Betafpv hx115? Bought one and I feel 1103 are to small for 3 inch props. Also thinking buying 1202.5. Have you tried 8000 kV? Or they would be overkill, and will refuse flight time? After your previous video, bought crux3 and made it a bit lighter 37.5g. Love this thing so much
Glad you're digging the platform! I haven't tried the 8000kv motors but they should be ok - just make sure your AIO can handle the amp draw as spinning these larger props might pull a lot. You will definitely lose some flight time but we do have some to spare. If you're looking for more power, though, the 3s build might be for you. PLENTY of power there - absolute beast! I was just looking for an old video of yours where you had built a 3" 2s! Are you using the tune that came on that x12, betaflight defaults, a tune preset or a custom tune?

Thanks! But I think you're using the happymodel motors. I'm either getting the rc&power 1202.5 6000kv or T-motor 1203 7000kv. I've had pretty good luck with UAVTech's toothpick preset. I think fpvcycle has one too.
Hmm do you have the true RC on the quad ? What antennas are you using on your module and what goggle are you using ? Also what type of environment are you flying in? Keep in mind any concrete or urban environments will usually result in worse analog image due to multipathing!

I hope not, I love Bob and his creations! I just want to see more people give the platform a chance and having ‘plug and play’ options might encourage pilots who otherwise may not have attempted the build. Also , the crux 3 uses a different AIO, cam, canopy, and of course, frame 😜
