The little bits of colour on what is effectively a shades of grey model really works out lovely. The effort you put into the tiles on the steeple really works nice and the choice to make the things lights looks gorgeous.
Bravo Vincent. You have an attention to detail surpassing mine for sure. I love what you did with the roof tiles. You're the king of gradients and transitions, in my book anyway.🎉
Looks great! Definitely going to try to paint mine up like you did. Probably have to do it in phases so I can layer on the detail as I go. So much terrain to paint!
Definitely skip some of the steps. As when you have a lot on the border you’re not going to notice a big difference. I’m finishing my final building for my board today so hopefully have a video out tomorrow.
@BUNKER6 Yeah that's a good plan, I am going to start with a couple steps and build it up over time. Going to have a good paint session tomorrow. Really looking forward to your next video!
So first off, amazing work like always. Your board is going to be epic when complete (already looks pretty amazing tbf). A couple questions: 1 - where did you get the file for the building base we see at the end (around 14:18), and; 2 - how did you create that awesome looking tiny tower coming off the top? Is it a reversed flying buttress from the civitas kit or is it 3d printed?
Thank you so much for watching. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’m answer to your questions. 1: it’s available on Cults if you look up “TITANSTRUCTURE DARK FUTURE 8MM SCALE CITY TILE FOR EPIC TITANICUS” you should find it. I just removed the road panels. 2: it is indeed a reversed flying buttress with a spire cone on its underside! Thanks 🙏
@anonsphone4323 please note that in my video, you are actually looking at a resin piece. I made a mold of the platform to allow for quick remaking and having a solid underside to it.
@@BUNKER6 Don't worry, I saw your previous video as well :) I'm not crazy enough (brave enough?) to make molds for resin casting, but I can certainly trim the road bits off in the slicer, print the top, and assemble. Thanks again!
Building looks great! Do you plan to paint rest of the buildings in the same concrete style? Or do you plan to change colors of some buildings to include some variety or make them a focal point of the city/show that in universe they are more important?
Great question. The problem is most of the battle reports will be top down so the buildings won’t be seen too well. On the whole I’m keeping things pretty uniform as I’m imagining most building are made of concrete. There will be minor details that differ but it’s the armies that wk be the main focus. I will be adding the industrial kit in places too to spice things up. Cheers!
The Sandodor was also a big issue. I’ve moved to a cheap thinner and it dries way quicker. The Sansodor is meant to create really long work times hence the price. Cheap thinners chase shorter work times. Laying the oil on think stops it from dripping down and not staying in all the vertical nooks. Thanks for watching.

Thank you so much for watching and the nice words. Really appreciated!

Really appreciated mate. Means a lot it really does.
That table is going to look amazing.
I hope so. I am trying to get two buildings a day done and dusted.
I got some 3D printed parts that need to be painted. I will give it a try with some oil paint too. Nice video !
Make sure to apply satin varnish prior to adding the oil so you don’t stain the primer/basecoat. Good luck and thanks so much for watching!!

@@BUNKER6 Thanks for the response! Funny, I had the file already but had discarded it when I decided to use a different tile system. Great idea!

@anonsphone4323 good luck!!
Amazing work! Definitely original spin on AT scenery
Much appreciated. I’m a couple days away from finishing the entire board and I’ll make a video about it. It’s big.
Excellent! I still don't own any epic scale stuff, but one day...
Well I appreciate you watching despite not having any epic stuff!
What a great result!
Thank you for watching!
Amazing mate!
Thanks for tuning in as always!
Glad to see my recent work on your channel ^^
Of course. You’re one of my favorite painters!
Lovely work!
Thank you David!
Outstanding work
Thank you very much Mara!

@@BUNKER6 It's true that uniform city will probably look better and be less distracting in battle reports.
@groke144 fingers crossed!
That oil wash was far too thick, thats was your problem when removing it. Not the lenth of time you left it to dry.
