@@BUNKER6 someone linked me this, and its an awesome build. Im hoping to do the same, and then also a Necromunda one. How did you create those domed buildings tho? I see one of them is an adaptation of existing terrain, but the huge one? What went into that?

Building tables that feel like they are a part of the world is one of my parts of the hobby, absolutely love this table and thinkI I'm going to need to make a Legion Imperialis table at some point.
Amazing project, just subbed to your channel and wondering why I haven't seen it pop up before. Love how you did the editing/voice over as well all comes together perfectly!
Stunning! Chock full of unique builds! You could always break up the city grid lines of sight with a couple of fallen/destroyed titans. Maybe a tank ‘graveyard’ piece with a handful of destroyed tanks on it too?
I wanted to write that you did a wonderful job and that I envy you, but the end of the video switched the tone by 180 and left me speechless (which is a good thing, but it's hard to write in a positive way). I'll finish off with a mix of condolences, congratulations and a hope that one day I will be able to play a game with you on that lovely board!
Thank you for noticing the editing. I didn’t really mean it to come out that way. But when my wife said the long shot of the Imperial Aquila being lined up with the change of tone worked perfectly. I hadn’t even noticed until she said anything. Then I basically had to skip that part every time I was working on the end section because I was stupidly getting emotional. It’s so bizarre that I feel this strongly about someone passing away that I didn’t know at all. I think the combination of being in the middle of my life, my boyhood dreams and knowing all the things Viet won’t get to do made the ending really deep for me. It was a homage to him by the end of making the board and video rather than my initial goal of just making a cool board. Thank you for watching and if you’re ever in Utah with an epic or LI army hit me up. 🤙
Through this video, I discover two things: a fabulous work for an exceptional table around Adeptus Titanicus/Legion Imeprialis and the tragic loss of Sensei Swag. This is a great looking table. It is really nice to see a city laid out that looks like it is still a functioning district and not a bombed out wreck. Excellent work. Glad you stuck with it, even if the circumstances were sad. Gotta say though, 28mm is no way close to current GW "normal" size for 40k and AoS - they are more like 35mm these days (works out got the same scale creep up as the Epic range from 6 to 8mm)
Thanks for watching and your kind words! There is always time for bombed ruins ha ha. Interesting to learn about the scale issues in 40k I don’t play it so I must have missed the change up. But no you mention it I guess primaris really pushed the scale thing. Smaller is better!

It's a laudable goal, and a nice result on the table. I'm definitely on the "too much grid" side of things, but it'll still provide a decent game. If it's modular enough I think a small port (either water or space/aero) would be a nice add. One or two elevation areas, perhaps with some overhead roads or train systems could be really cool. To break up the gothic monotony, even a small park feature would add a nice splash of colour, etc.
Thank you so much. It’s weird missing someone you’ve never met. I think I’m just sad that we don’t get to see what else he would come up with. But thank you for your kind words and watching the video till the end. 💪

Impressive terrain. I went the other way with my Legions Imperialis board and used almost the same terrain pieces which were reserved for 30K/40K: Flat hills, rock formations and craters painted in a Martian scheme. This approach was not only cheap but also quick to build and paint. Not every LI battle happens in a city and GW tries to brainwash customers into thinking that by always portraying their LI minis being deployed in city landscapes in order to sell you street tiles and buildings.
Sadly the brain washing didn’t work too well on me. Hand crafted my own tiles and only used recasted or 3D printed buildings and spires apart from the manufactorum stuff. But I’d love to see what you came up with. Sounds fun for sure and hey, thanks for watching 🫡

Yes I am familiar with the project. I nearly added a bunch of their modular tanks and chimneys to the board. Great ruins too. Thanks for the heads up and thank you for watching!🫡
The mold making process is not time consuming at all it's actually relatively easy with only a small learning curve. On top of that will Games Workshop harass you if you make tutorial videos on casting their products and reproducing them? Of course but they have no legal standing to have the videos taken down or do more than send you angry letters because at the end of the day all you would be doing is explaining an artistic process using materials that are freely available for purchase and that are used in the industry already. Unless you start making copies and distributing them Games Workshop has nothing. Now that said I would like to remind everybody that Games Workshop is a terribly toxic company that is abusive to its stockists and its consumer base so at the end of the day it is better to either purchase a 3D printer, by recasts online, or buy models used and then recast them yourself
Thanks for watching and thanks for your input. I agree that some mold making is easy. It depends on the part. Funnels, angles, type of mold for the type of part and dealing with holes successfully. Your understanding of the legal system is interesting to me. Having been in a legal dispute lasting over 8 years. I have seen cease and desist letters and take down requests sent to UA-cam creators for merely making a candle mold out of warhammer terrain quite recently. All anyone has to do is file a claim in a small claims court for any reason they feel like with zero proof and it then becomes your duty to defend against any claims made against you. If you do not adhere to this you will have a summary judgment set against you and will be obligated to pay fees in line with what ever the judge decides. I refuse to even begin to entertain such a legalistic attack made against me whether it’s on this channel or in any other aspect of my life. You are looking at a minimum cost of 10k to even file for dismissal or make denials and defenses against such potential claims. This does not include the excruciating amount of time the UK court system takes to process anything. I have a deep and personal experience with the UK courts and I have great experience dealing with the most insane claims made against me that I still had to spend thousands to prove to be wrong. GW could bankrupt literally any creator they see fit just by forcing them into defending spurious claims made against them. They can make an endless list of claims and even if the case is thrown out it still costs you thousands to defend against the claims not to mention stress and time spent. The judge will not always award you damages greater than the costs you have spent either. This is barely scratching the surface on the process. But I get it GW is a bad company etc etc. I honestly don’t care. If a normie wants to buy things full price to then later sell on eBay to someone like myself for half the price then that’s fine by me. GW has always had issues some worse than others. Any company becomes scummy the moment you go public sadly. I’m not minimizing GW’s antics. Just merely contextualizing them. Furthermore please feel free to post your own videos on recasting GW products in the greatest detail possible! I wish you all the luck in the world and I salute your bravery. Cheers 🫡
@@BUNKER6 yeah they cant do that where I'm located. The best they could hope is to get UA-cam to take down the video. @garfieldwithissuez yes the UK is brutal with legal stuff. It’s beyond a joke. It’s doubly frustrating for me as I am a UK citizen living the the US, so defending any sort of claim immediately becomes way more complicated. Finding a Barrister with knowledge in this area is so difficult without face to face contact I find. GW knows they have the power in almost all of these situations. The only way I could take the route you initially mentioned would be if I had “eff you money” and took them on just because I could. Sadly I am not in that situation. I’d like to think that I did include your recommendations at the end of your first comment. Half of the buildings are 3D printed and the rest are my own recasts pretty much. Please do not think I am in any way sucking up to GW. I just know what is on the other end of this legal BS in the UK and it’s nearly bankrupted me one despite winning the case. That’s the other thing. Even if you win there is pretty much no way of enforcing payment outside of spending more money to force bankruptcy on the person not paying. It’s an absolute mess and always be nights the person making the claim over the defendant.
Thank you for making such an incredible Son. I am so so sorry for your loss on this upcoming anniversary. If there is anything I can do please let me know.

I was referring to the grid like structure of the city. I also stated it was a vertical slice. This is not an entire city. But a small section of one. This is also fictional. But please keep getting hung up on the word city. I’m just glad UA-cam is recommending my videos to new people such as yourself. You have to understand that I don’t need to do UA-cam. @darkestcloister I was born in a city called London. I’m married with 3 kids working in my own basement big boy. Mom lives 5000 miles away from me in another country. So not only did I get out of her non existent basement but I got out of her country too 🙄 I have travelled the world for work from Beijing to Moscow to Portugal. But please keep getting hung up on the word city. I’m just glad UA-cam is recommending my videos to new people such as yourself. You have to understand that I don’t need to do UA-cam. It’s merely a hobby and the fact you’re wasting your time nit picking my videos says way more about you than it does about me big boy.
