** I don't think this is the unit for us just due to we need to be able to see what's going on inside the bag 🙂

The pto running the wrong way is correct for the way the tractor sits at the moment however facing the tractor towards the machine would in turn make it spin the right way unless your spec is different to the 820 we have here in the UK as I used to think the same but we've used the front pto numerous times for jobs. The red machine is much better than the blue also

What if you put the bag roller onto the Akron. So when your finished, instead of rolling the bag out, you can just transfer it to the bag roller. Basically combine the two. You'll be able to check the bag and operate like normal but at the end you get to roll it. Just an idea.
To improve the other bag extractor, finding a way to lower the angle on the bag roller might help solve a lot of the issue. That 90 degree pull on the bag can put a lot of strain and increase the risk of tearing the bag.

Worst case is Neeralta knows what changes they need to make to their machine so that they can get your business. Good afternoon Mike first off love your vids and the info you give with each one one thing I noticed about the demo machine if your electronics go wonky and you need to run the machine from the lever controls you have 2 issues that come to view the horizontal drive shaft and the vertical drive shaft, you boys do slot of the unbagging in snowy weather and icy
conditions if the operator was to slip he or she may end up on the drive shafts and with no cage the end result could be very unpleasant. This I have seen first hand my brother was helping us and he slipped and ended up tangled in the shaft, pins, screws, and 2 plates plus 8 months off work. A cage would go a long way. Stay safe boys great teamwork.

Mike , would it be too much of a hassle if before you fill the grain bags at harvest if you built up the level of dirt where the bag goes by 6” - 8”? Would that help you with not losing grain when a hole gets in the bag by raising it above the water level? Also in all the spare”time” you have, you could take an old disk or implement and convert it to a scraper that takes that newly formed soil berm and scrape a crown or roll a crown in it just as you would a road. This would allow water to flow away from the grain bag. I probably overthought this but just an idea that may help you or others save some money. Maybe not.

    • @gavinperry7237

Big Dog Grain bags are SUBSTANTIALLY CHEAPER per bushel to temporarily store grain than bins.
Farmers also rent a lot of acres thus not necessarily wanting to commit to the SUBSTANTIAL INVESTMENT for grain storage related to land they don’t actually owe.
Mike has REALLY INCREASED the number of bins over the past few years in the home yard but there is only so much money to spend particularly when Mike previously indicated that chick peas as not currently worth much.
In a number of instances depending on the moisture content of the various grain species & the outside temperature spoilage is less and easier to deal with in grain bags compared to bins.
Mike did an easier video related to rotten chick peas in a large bin and the problems they had removing the rotten grain.
From what Mike showed in various videos rotten chick peas are CONSIDERABLY EASIER to deal with when in a grain bag then in a bin.

The spinning PTO at 5:47 scares me. Even tho you never should come near it, it is still a hazard to be caught in it with your clothes. I am amazed they didn't at least put a mess cage around it. A small oversight by Neeralta?

I watch many other farm tubers. Not sure how much different the climate at the Fast Ag Farm is but they use this Nerral bag extractor. Tony and his hired hand both know how to use it and can load their own trucks by themselves with it. Never see them have the troubles Mike has with rotten grain though either

is this the first bag extractor they have built? because then i would say trial and error like every brand had to do. if they saw the problems they have and fix them this would be a good sign for the future to improove their system :)

It would be nice for it to work then you could have to machines one can be in one area another on a different place or if on goes down then one could fill in.

I have a special idea for Frankel's. Take a shirt, wash it. Then mounted and frame it and put it on the wall. And on the bottom he He writes to to his kid's How he worked and care and love for his children. Children don't Relies how hard their parents work to take care of them.

It’s your Crue doing the work buddy but if it was mine I would want them running the Akron because it’s the one that you can take care of everything necessary especially rotten Grain! 😼🖖🏼🇺🇸

Thumbs up... Very informative showing the crappest part of a farmers life.... Painful to watch let alone sort that mess out

I think you can get a seat that swivel 180 degrees for the fendt... Otherwise look at valtra unlimited.

Reverse drive in gen5 Fendt is only 900 series (if I'm not mistaken). 700's and lower doesn't have that. But I agree. If you need reverse drive with not crazy power - Valtra T and N will do the job pretty damn good. Also they are just beautiful tractors.

Mike I have questions....why don't you our you old bags under your new bags too seal them off the ground?? And why can't you seal the end of the bag? With a giant iron or something....thanks for another great video. Very open minded opinion

On the neeralta, couldn't you split the bag horizontally on each, and just roll up the top half of the bag, letting the bottom half of the bag run under the unit and tractor? Just like you do with the Akron?
