Wow Mike you are bringing tears to my eyes man I used to love planting season getting lost on a thousand acre field somewhere no one to both you pitch dark can’t see a thing apart from the head lights of the tractor listening to the Hunter Brothers on the radio there’s a book in this story I think you guys are feeling me lol 😂 I really miss the farm guys I can taste it you guys have fun out there Ashtyn be careful out there you too Mike I definitely be thinking of you 👍🤙🏴🙏
@@mikemitchell2554 id love to come help u guys out im looking for a job at the moment, do you know who or where I'd go to work on a farm? I kinda want that to be my career
I'm not a farmer although vocational education I have says so. I also have very little next to nothing experience with regards to farming in general. Been helping members of my family who happen to have farm. Always liked it so this comes with no surprise that Mike's videos slowly develop into some form of addiction. Love your passion, machinery and mind blowing technology. Good luck Mike and Ashtyn !!!
Y'all's farm is rare in my opinion. I load out cattle every Monday and Wednesday about 200 head each time. We plant crops but nothing like y'all operation or this ranch an hour from me. Y'all 2 farms mind blown me
Yo Mike, she knows her stuff, bolt some rubber deflectors on that bottom chute will you "no mess". Yes, hearing protection should be a priority, keep up the good work!
Wow, Ashtyn doesn't ask some one to do a screen change, and she doesn't expect some one else to do it. You turn your back on her and she is already there "getting it done". 😍
@@bobthebuilder1011 using the above word is something that we would use before came into play. Won't be surprised if you didn't using the different terminology and what you're thinking
Looks like you need some kind of pop out catcher for around the auger, like the hopper of a combine. I’ve also seen the electric openers for these trucks, would that be something worthwhile? Could have a remote setup so it’s truly a a one-person operation to fill if need be. Also amazed how big these carts are.
Good luck this year Mike. We farm an hour north of saskatoon and our drill isn't even in the yard yet lol. But be safe out there and git er done this year
Ashton happy for planting season a good thing. She needs hearing and a mask. Please a must have. Maybe the old massy could be used to this year now its running.
Two suggestions I see u struggling with cranks why dont u rig up a 3/4 ratchet Also to prevent auger spray And a 4 or 5 in rubber on the side that sprays
Hey Mike - Why not load the bourgault directly from the silos for the first load instead of on to the truck and then to the bourgault? Would save quite some time if it works. 😃
Nothing is stopping manufacturers to build bigger tractors (except emissions standards), but they can't justify RnD costs for producing just handfull of them.
Good luck on seeding guys. Guessing the vids are backlogged long enough so you hopefully are running now. Gonna be cool seeing ernie running that rig 😂
Hey Mike, I‘ve got a question. Why don’t You install some sort of Laserpointer or similar lightsource on the Seedhawk that points to the location the auger will swivel to? Keep up your great work, wish you all the best.
I might have been a little off, but in canola at about 5lb/ac you should be able to do close to 400ac, cereals maybe 150 to 200. Not sure if they actually pull the 71300 Carts.
🤔 I guess is farmers use - according to some "interesting terms" 🤷🏼♂️😂 Last fall when I went "Edging", apparently that's something all together different too 🤷🏼♂️😂 I ll have to do a video on all this stuff one day haha
More video's with Ashtyn please...........between the two of you she's the one that looks like someone that knows what they are doing. Unlike the camera man. :-)
Morning Micheal.. anyone ever call you that?? Maybe Ashtyn when your in deep trouble? Haha I don’t know when you started seeding but wow to seed durum that early just seems weird! Haha just like TV commercials. It’s something how much different your area is to mine and I’m south central SK. Hope nothing is up with these cold nights. I have to 6700 ST would like to get the 9750, bought a new 570 Versatile on tracks see how it handles my 72’ Seedhawk. I get blends made up so don’t have to use N and P separately. That’s sort of the advantage of not using a Bourgault drill IMO. All the best this spring with seeding. As always be safe and take your time. By the way you will probably be half done by the time we start. 😂😂
How much load do you do with auger? I bet your "auger waste" is my annual amount of fertilizer and seed. Man, that's mad.😆 Greetings from Croatia. 👍🏻👋🏻
Love watching your videos! keep up the great job, but quick question! Why don't you load directly from the bin with the nitrogen and phos/ potash? to load up the seeder, I understand why with the seed cause you have to treat it.
girls and heavy equipment always a nice combo.

VERY PROUD OF Y'ALL
Mike, it is April 20th and in Central Illinois it is snowing today. You and Ashtyn do great work. There is Corn planted in central Illinois.
Nice teamwork!
Thanks!

Mike do you have to get Ashtyn's approval to finalize when she's in the video?😉
So fun now that she's no longer camera shy😎👍
You have a monster farm to big
Wonderful
mike you should get the ear muffs with radios in them so you can talk to each outher

what a gentleman Mike, good on you 😉😉

Nice to see the start of the Season
Its universal. All women do that atleast a couple times a day about a lot of different dumb stuff that us men do lol
I've been around some big equipment but those seeders and carts are huge
Neat how equipment is getting so big from horses and a plow to now great videos
Looks like you need some kind of pop out catcher for around the auger, like the hopper of a combine.
I’ve also seen the electric openers for these trucks, would that be something worthwhile? Could have a remote setup so it’s truly a a one-person operation to fill if need be. Also amazed how big these carts are.
Couldnt you put a piece of rubber like a mud flap or somthing on the lead edge of the auger to keep it from splashing out?
Yes, agreed
Good luck this year Mike. We farm an hour north of saskatoon and our drill isn't even in the yard yet lol. But be safe out there and git er done this year
thanks Mike one of my favorite channels, are you going to replace the burnt combine soon
put a large mat beside the auger to catch the overflow of seed or fertilizer
Ashton happy for planting season a good thing. She needs hearing and a mask. Please a must have. Maybe the old massy could be used to this year now its running.
Ashtyn is trying to get it loaded so they can go eat and Mike is just yakety yakking....😂😂😂😂
Haha so true! 🤷🏼♂️😂
Two suggestions

Hi, why not had some rubber flaps on each side at the bottom of the auger it would help for the lost on the ground
Hey Mike - Why not load the bourgault directly from the silos for the first load instead of on to the truck and then to the bourgault? Would save quite some time if it works. 😃
Hey Mike - It looks like you need some side wings around the auger feed hopper so you done wast so much fert and seed
magnet laser on side of air tank works great
I love that super flat landscape in saskatchewan ;)
Hey mike try fill on the other side of your auger to avoid spritzing
Me and my family live nearby the bourgault manufacture in saint. Brieux Saskatchewan
Very nice video my brother 👍
thanks good job
How did Mr. Triple 1050 perform? I think you just need scour every crevice of the Earth and find about 10 16v-747 Big Buds.

Good luck on seeding guys. Guessing the vids are backlogged long enough so you hopefully are running now. Gonna be cool seeing ernie running that rig 😂
very big harvest machine!
It's an air seeder/drill, ..... it's their smallest 😂
Great video! Im almost ready move there have fun with you guys lol. My wife says im crazy lol. Be safe have great day

Great video
No matter what, all farmers must grab a handful of whatever material they are moving out or into a hopper. It's a rule.
Most definitely!
Mike,i have a question:
How many acres can you seed with one fully loaded sedder cart?
Probably around 200 to 400 depending on crop.
@@NilsExploringAmerica who are you. I can't trust you. I need Mike's answer. 😩
Well I hope he will answer you! Haha
Not thay much thats insane...i go a 9950 and i do 100 acres in wheat

You need some higher sides on that conveyer to stop loss of product when loading
I always looking forward to your videoes, so much energy! 👌🙂 How many ha. Can you do on a full cart?
- Torben from Denmark 🙂
Wooooo new video!!!!
Maybe some kind of deflector on that so you do not loose Product.

Heck, you could say the same about Mike's opening sentence!
Same with Brians Farming Channel with his "Stripper".. at this point its gotta be intentional for the views lmao
I love your videos
Hey mike might make it easy if you get a head strap for your filming
You should do a tour of the Bourgault facilities here in St.Brieux including the Bourgault Tillage Tools. Let me know and we can work something out
Haha I have actually reached out to Bourgault about demoing the 100ft and tour and so on.. I got the classic "We ll call you" 🤣🤷🏼♂️

quite a pile forming by the auger hoper?

When did you plant this Mike? We had a snow storm 1-2 weeks ago 🥶 hope it wasn’t before
Seeding time adiós amigo ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
Could seed and fertilizer our whole place with what was spilled.
Could you not make some sides out if some wood that can be put onto the sides of the hopper when unloading the truck to stop the spillage?
getting so pumped for seeding I'm already making hand signals when I drink my coffee
Ashtyn: I’m hungry.
Mike: I’m hungry too.
