Glad to see you got that fixed. I think I have the same issue. Mine leaks on the driver side. Cleared the drain tubes, but have not tested it yet since then.
Cleaning the forward sunroof drains fixed most of my problems. Hard to see in the video but it looks like they may have used used butyl rubber. I purchased some to chase a similar leak, but I still need to re-apply to sort it out, maybe I'll try a bead on the inside as well! Glad it worked!
My '99 leaks from the same exact spot but mine has visible rust on both corners above the windshield which explains it. I'm not looking forward to getting the windshield replaced because I'll have to pay for the body work required to replace the rusty spots. Just need to find a shop that's willing to do it.
Hi, first one to like and I always enjoy your Great videos 👍 I just purchased 2004 LX470 last month and loved it. This leak has happened to my FZJ80 too.
I am looking for the rear plastic air deflector like yours I bought the front which is on the hood but difficult to find the rear if you have a site where I can order it thank you very much
Had a similar issue with my Tundra and I thought it was leaking on the corners of the windshield, but it was actually coming from the sunroof drain for me.
Oh dude, do yourself a favour and just remove the screen, there will most likely be rust starting to generate, get it fixed properly before your whole window frame goes rusty.
Exactly what happened to mine, especially at the sides and bottom frames; heavy corrosions and though holes at multiple places. . . Only found that out while changing out the cracked windscreen, a blessing in disguise one would say. . . I gathered it was a common issue for LC100s. . .
Were you concerned that the sealed from the inside and not the out. I'm thinking that water is still getting through and perhaps could begin rust

I have the same problem in my 2000 LC. This very helpful thank you!!

Mine had only minor rust, they cleaned it out, primered it, and silicon

Best to seal the top under the rubber on top of windscreen otherwise water may cause corrosion.

Great tip, was the drain tube damaged? How did you repair?
Where did you go to get the windshield repaired at? Great video and I got a leak too.
I'm from France I had the same problem and I did like your leaked video now thank you your video its cool
You should also stop the leak from the top or water well trap water and create rust. Those professional are useless.
Update on the leak fix?
I used to have same problem, I have to replace the windshield and after that no more problem
Thanks! Very useful as always :)

I agree, you will have moisture trapped and it will rot your window frame. I hope you repair soon to avoid the added expense.
