      You have the integrity to admit feeling envy of the grand heritage in Ancient Egypt. Thanks for that. Others are not so forthright.

    Such a palacial beauty. Imagined at Hatshepsut's time. Something is familiar about that vision made in her honor. Where else on earth is it so familiar and old? The grand civic promenade.

    This is probably my favorite building facade/complex. It's simple, clean, elegant lines make it a beautiful sight. And, gods, the SIZE of that place! I knew it was large, but holy mackerel...it's bigger than I imagined. My gal Hattie went big, that's for sure. LOL
    Seriously though, that woman was a force to be reckoned with. She and Cleopatra are my favorite Egyptian royals, although I think there was a total of four or five women that ruled alone.
    ✌😺

    • @legpol
      @legpol 4 роки тому +1

      Fi na : I am very happy to hear from you "mountain stones". It could also be mountain cement. Look at the colour of the mountain behind the temple, there is only one colour. Ancient Egyptians might produce cement with the mountain earth and used the cement to make all the stony structures.

    The earth from the mountain might have been used to produce cement and in turn, the cement was used to produce all the stony structures. That is why both the stony structures and the mountain have one colour.

      I went there last week. There's a ticket box right before you can enter the temple. You walk through souvenir shops and at the end of the shops go left to find the ticket box. There's a lot of taxis but I decided to rent a car with driver for 2 days for EGP 2400 to save time

      It is ALL rebuilt - to the best ability that could be imagined as correct. Wonderful dedication over such a long period of reconstruction.
      The original was different in some important aspects - there was another "layer" where now, is a protection wall.

    Egyptians never built any Prymaids the people who built the Pyramids were people with black skin and woollen hair, the people of creation. The people called themselves Alkebulans and the land was called Kemet before the Romans conquered the land and changed the name. Please post the correct history.
