Now you've really pulled at my heartstrings, Gisselle!! What a beautiful video you have presented to us here. The Grand Egyptian Museum is truly spectacular in every way, and you have more than done it justice. Your thoughtful and knowledgeable commentary adds so much to the stunning visuals throughout. I was bowled over by the beauty of the diverse presentations, incorporating so many aspects of the Egyptians' ancient life. When you rose to the top of the grand staircase at 6:52 and revealed the wonderful and evocative view of the Pyramids through the Museum windows, I became so emotional! But don't ask me why!! I just found that moment so awe-inspiring and intense. As always, your chosen music was so appropriate, bringing out the mystical and uplifting nature of your sensitive and hugely effective presentation. The digital projections you showed at 17:08 were mind-blowing and fascinating, and I think they truly immortalise the mysticism and majesty of the artistic depictions of life in those ancient times. Can I presume that many of the artefacts were contributed by other museums in Egypt, and from worldwide perhaps? Thank you for all the hard work you put into producing this stunning video, Gisselle. 😀W
Yes, this museum is truly magnificent! To begin with, it's simply a beautiful building. Inside the galleries it is very spacious, giving you a wide, open and free feeling. It also adds to the grandeur. It is kept at a comfortable temperature and is well lit. With the pyramids off in the distance able to be seen through several windows, it's majestic. The music they played in the background (although not heard in the video) was very appropriate for the galleries as well. And those digital projections! Wow! I absolutely loved it. It caught me completely off guard, I was quite breathless when I saw the images were moving. Genius! To be honest, I am not sure if artifacts have been donated to this museum. But I know Egypt would like their looted cultural heritage back, such as the Rosetta Stone at the British Museum and the Dendera Zodiac at the Louvre. What I can say with certainty is that they have been moving artifacts from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square to the GEM. But as of yet, King Tut's possessions are still at the old museum. Thank you so William! 🥰
@@Gventures - Oh yes, the building itself is truly magnificent and incredibly well planned. I agree about returning the various artifacts around the world to their home country. It just seems the fairest way.

Every one of them has great historical and cultural artifacts. I can’t wait to go to Egypt again and see this myself. What a fantastic voice you have, and so perfect for voice over. I only hope that the exhibits are looked after in a better way than was evident in the old antiquities museum. Will never forget the sight of painters putting up a trestle next to a priceless statue, and splashing their white paint all over it.
Stunning and mind-blowing. For years now I have been in awe of the achievements of ancient Egypt and the wondrous artifacts that have been left to us. Any documentaries about Ancient Egypt on television and I'm there. When looking at the intricacies of their jewellery, carvings and the engineering wonders involved in constructing their buildings, I have to wonder if we are being rather arrogant referring to the Ancient Egyptians primitive. This is a wonderful video explaining the layout of the newly opened galleries, and giving a taster of what to expect. The GEM is definitely on my list of places to see. As soon as Tutankhamun is open I will be making plans. I do like your presentation style and quality of the the video. I think I shall be checking out more of your videos. Thank you.

This amazing place is in my bucket list before my cancer takes me to another world! My cousin visited the museum, and while he's visited many parts of the world, he was more affected by the GEM than I'd ever seen him before. He was awed, amazed, humbled and at times beyond words so now I'm more excited to to visit.
Whoa, so sorry about the cancer mate. But hope you can make it to this incredible museum soon as well, it is truly stunning.
Wow!! Thank you so much for sharing. Egypt is my dream destination. The GEM is absolutely a gem 💎 😊
This museum definitely seems like it can be up there with other popular museums like MET, British, Louvre, Acropolis, Vatican, and Topkapi Palace which are all great museums. Every one of them has great historical and cultural artifacts. I can’t wait to go to Egypt again and see this myself.
Seeing historical sights and museums, especially the popular ones can really be fun time and knowledgeable for sure.
What a wonderful video. One of the best I have seen on Egypt, the photography was professionally, commentary was precise and to the point. Congratulations 🎉
Bravo 👏 🎉 Gigi you’re the best. Better than all the rest. ❤
😅 Shukran ya Nuba ❤️🙏
تحياتي لك مجهود رائع ومتحف عظيم
The way you present historical content or narrate the story is absolutely amazing-beyond incredible! It’s unmatched and unlike anything I’ve seen before
Keep up the outstanding work! Your talent and creativity are truly remarkable 👏👏
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you saying that 🙏
And happy new year 😁

great video in combination with the background music, very nice to watch. It's like watching an episode of National Geographic. I will be in Cairo in two weeks and will definitely visit this museum.
Thank you Patrick 🙏
@@Gventures another question, is Tutankhamun's mask also in this museum
@@patrickroos7207 Yeah it should be. Last I heard it was (and that was quite recently that I heard that)
Thanks Gisselle! Very nice video and great content. We wish the GEM was fully opened last week! Another good reason to come back :)
I knowww! I thought of you guys when I found out it was opening and thought "damn, if only they had been here a few days later!" First the paramotor, now the GEM. But yes, just another reason to come back. Miss you guys! ❤️
We miss you too! ❤
Thank you,
I have relatives in that area and am eager to witness all the splendor of Egypt along with its concealed treasures. Can't wait to visit Egypt.
I love Egypt and was just there Nov 5th thru 17th 2024. We had the Best time and the (GEM) Grand Egypt Museum, it was so beautiful and over whelming.
HUGE thanks for sharing this with me. I hope to get there soon. You are appreciated greatly!
Thank you for sharing this I've dreamed about visiting Egypt since 6th grade. My history teacher made it so interesting to learn that I fell in love with Egypt & it's history.
Amazing video and explanation. Thank you Giselle💫
Beautiful, divine, and an art beyond understanding ✨️
Ps the music was perfect for the 'tour'
Thank you Judith 🥰🙏
Thank you!
You are amazing!❤
I have a trip to Egypt planned for late next year and your videos have been a treasure trove (no pun intended, lol) of information. Thank you so much for putting this out there!
😄 Thank you Lisa 🙏
This is a well done video and the music is excellent. Fantastic job Gigi❤😊
Thank you Samra 🥰🙏
Looks amazing. Fortunately, I will be in Egypt for a couple weeks next month.
Welcome! 🇪🇬
You are welcome ❤🎉
@@Gventures Your video on Meidum Pyramid made me extend my trip by one day and get a tour of it and the other Faiyum Pyramids.
@@brianfox771 Ohhh, nice! Are you gonna climb through the Mastaba? That was my favorite part! If you are on a tour with people, wherever they go, just go do the other thing first! So if they go into the pyramid, go to the Mastaba. Then you can go into the pyramid after. That way you can have it to yourself 😅
@@Gventures I would like to do all the things that are permitted, as long as there's time. Love the advice to do the things where the crowd isn't, first!
What a fantastic voice you have, and so perfect for voice over. I only hope that the exhibits are looked after in a better way than was evident in the old antiquities museum. Will never forget the sight of painters putting up a trestle next to a priceless statue, and splashing their white paint all over it.
Well that must have been horrifying
Thank you.
Thank you Philip! That's very kind of you to say 🙏 I hope you enjoy my other videos as well
Went on Viking Cruise and five days in Cairo with my granddaughter. Visited the old museum three times, day trip to Alexandia, days on the Viking Hathor watching a different world go by. Thanks for this GEM presentation.
Amazing museum 👍 Greetings from Denmark.

🙏 شكرا جدن يا امان
I'm sure I made mistakes in writing because I suck at it 😅
I was just trying to say "shukran gidden ya Eman" 🙏
@@Gventures All good Gigi, you're doing GREAT👍🏻 ... keep up the good work and you're most welcome ❤⚘
In 2001 I went to a King Tut Exhibition in Los Angeles, I was amazed by how detailed the Egyptian art was made. My goal is to visit Egypt , all of its mysteries and now the G.E.M. (Grand Egyptian Museum). Thanks for sharing, it would take me maybe two days to really check everything out, I notice many statue’s, can’t wait to see in person. Thanks
Your voice and knowledge of the Egyptian civilization speak volumes through this video. Excellent Job❤
